I mean, apart from the fact that most pop songs kind of sound the same. But these are all cases where one or other of the parties ended up having to face the consequences somehow (often in court). The good news is that a bunch of these are pretty fantastic songs, so the whole process here shouldn't be too unpleasant.
Kayla Martell, Miss Delaware, isn't letting Alopecia stop her from competing for her lifelong dream of becoming Miss America. She's going for it and why not? With a great self-image, this gal would make a great role model indeed!
It was only a matter of time before actors slathered themselves in orange body paint and made a pornographic version of The Simpsons. Thank God humanity survived long enough to see that day. This just looks like an episode of Jersey Shore. That's McBain and some woman he's going to have sex with in the second photo, by the by. The extremely NSFW stuff is over at Fleshbot.
Every day in 2010, Youtuber eirikso would take a picture out of his window every 30 minutes. The result: an interesting take on life passing us by.
While 1/11/11 is not quite the same as 11/11/11, we can still enjoy the music that references the lucky number. Since this is an extra lucky list, I'm hoping to get a pony by the end of the day.

Barry Blitts is turning personal injury into art on this week's cover of the New Yorker. Inspired by Julie Taymor’s injury during the Spider-Man Musical. Added drama never hurt ticket sales. We can only hope the playbill gets this type of redesign.
Artist Tim Doyle has created a VHS print tribute called "The Vietnam War Movie Memorial." Doyle's vision is meant to call attention to films that inaccurately portray the harsh realities of war. Point well made.
Jared Loughner's parents, Amy and Randy Loughner, are loners just like their son, the man responsible for the tragic AZ shooting.
It's almost 11:11 on 1/11/11. This is a great chance make a wish, so make it count! For those of you who'd rather wait until 11/11/11... that's fine. More wishes for the rest of us!
This is apparently a clip from a children's show on Belgian television. Government officials in the United States get fired for even discussing what is graphically portrayed in this video. Even though it's graphically portrayed with candy-colored cartoons and a Teletubbies sensibility, watch at your own risk.
If you're going to go out, go out in style.
Deviant Art user "The Camo" remade popular fast food logos with funny Harry Potter references.
