These photos will turn your stomach. Krokodil is a street version of desomorphine, an opiate that's 3 times more powerful and 10 times cheaper than heroin, and has become an epidemic in Russia. It's so named because regular users develop gangrenous, scaly skin resembling that of a crocodile. Krokodil is made with such toxic chemicals that it rots the flesh and bones of its users. WARNING: Extremely graphic images.
I doubted, but I was wrong. God loves this guy.
It's pretty amazing that the artist that helped President Obama get elected is now using his own iconic design to appeal to the President on behalf of the #Occupy movement.
Dude, what? Nature is totally tripping balls.
Every culture has their wedding day traditions. The ones in Kosovo just happen to be works of art.
Next time you're in Karachi, don't even consider texting about how the Wu-Tang Clan is so creamy. The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority will soon begin filtering over 1,500 words from mobile SMS in an effort to block spam. The list includes some head scratchers.
Catching forty winks is easier when you have accomplices. These junior Bhuten monks are supposed to be studying. School is boring no matter where you live.
Augmented Reality is pretty wicked. Sure this is a glorified commercial, but if you don't at least smile at how these kids react, you might be dead inside.
You don't know her, but you know her voice.
Just one more block and I swear I'll stop. Nine. Hours. Later.
The city's ubiquitous pieces of air canister street art have come under attack. Another artist claims the concept is stolen. What do you think?
Our money would look really cool. And maybe other countries would hate us less.
To infinity and beyond! It's a catchphrase, not a challenge.
And the revolution continues. We will prevail.
Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, or as he is better known, the man who shot at the White House this week, recorded a direct-to-camera manifesto. The highlights? He thinks he is Jesus and wants to be on Oprah. Here's the best clip
Look at those enrollment numbers! Note that City College didn't even rate. Dean Pelton would be so proud! #SixSeasonsAndAMovie (Thanks Cat!)
Wow. After 14 years, this band still sounds exactly the same. Always stay the same, TEB.
This guy better have auditioned, or he definitely has more to regret than pretty much anyone who ever lived.
This is what Etsy was made for. It's a pizza sleeping bag with toppings as throw pillows. I know. It's the most amazing thing any of us have ever seen.
I still can't get over the fact that photos like this have been coming out so consistently from protests in our own country. It's becoming harder not to become desensitized by it.
Nothing like a little bat-signal-style protest. The side of the Verizon Building has been displaying pro-99% messages this evening as protestors marched across the Brooklyn Bridge.
