At yesterday’s premiere of a documentary about the Electric Daisy Carnival, an electronic and dance music fest, a riot broke out as thousands of people showed up for the accompanying block party in Los Angeles. Police shut down a large swath of Hollywood Boulevard, a squad car was burned and beanbag guns were used on the unruly mob. The streets ran neon red with cracked glow sticks.
