1. Jessie J and Channing Tatum Droi / DROI / BACKGRID Even though it was pretty obvious they were seeing each other in late 2018, it took until March of this year for the pair to make it Instagram official when Jessie J shared a flirty DM from Channing in her stories. Since then, they've been spotted looking smitten all around London and Channing posted a sweet birthday message to her that said, "You have blessed our eyes, our ears, our hearts and our lives. So thank you for just being you. You are so very special." 2. Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant Neilson Barnard / Getty Images In November, a notoriously private Keanu Reeves brought his girlfriend Alexandra Grant to a gala, where they were photographed together on the red carpet. Grant, an artist based out of Los Angeles, had allegedly been seeing Reeves for multiple years — so this is really only news to the rest of us. 3. Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott Eric Mccandless / Getty Images In September we learned that this odd couple had become ~a thing.~ How did Hollywood actor Zooey Deschanel get involved with one half of the Property Brothers? Funny you should ask! Apparently, they shot an episode of Carpool Karaoke together with their siblings and really hit it off. James Corden, a match-maker! 4. David Harbour and Lily Allen Dara, Dahe / DARA / BACKGRID This pair was first spotted together at a play in London's West End back in August and had been photographed walking around together, but didn't make it official until late October when David uploaded a photo to Instagram. Since then, they've been pretty inseparable and have been making out all over the place ever since. 5. Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson Scla, Wago / CPR/WAGO / BACKGRID This has been quite the year for Miley Cyrus and her love life! She split from Liam Hemsworth in early August and was spotted soon after kissing Kaitlynn Carter (who had just broken off her own marriage with Brody Jenner). A few months later, we learned that Miley had been seeing Cody Simpson — which she confirmed via a screenshot of a BuzzFeed post, no less! Since then, they've gotten matching tattoos, Cody sang to Miley while she was sick in the hospital, and we learned that Miley was Cody's "childhood crush." They also made out with the Joker filter on and it was, um, something. 6. Beanie Feldstein and Bonnie Chance-Roberts Beanie Feldstein / instagram.com In March of 2019, Beanie Feldstein opened up at a SXSW panel about how Booksmart relates to her own life as a woman in a relationship with another woman. Soon after, we learned that she was dating Bonnie Chance-Roberts of whom Beanie said, "Now I get it. I get why people write songs." Also, how cute are their names together?! Beanie and Bonnie forever. 7. Timothée Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp Frat / BACKGRID This year, Timothée's devoted fan base, the Chalaheads (do they go by that?), received a stake through the heart when they learned he was dating Lily-Rose Depp (yes, daughter to Johnny). They made things officially official in September when photos of the pair HEAVILY making out on a yacht hit the internet. It became a meme, and since then we've seen them popping up in Paris and the streets of NYC together, where they've been spotted picking up bagels. 8. Cory Booker and Rosario Dawson Alberto E. Rodriguez / Getty Images Rumors started after the pair showed up to a performance of Dear Evan Hansen together in January. Months later, we now know they're a legitimate couple, who happened to make their red carpet debut at the premiere of Zombieland: Double Tap (above) in October. 9. Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello Roy Rochlin / Getty Images The pair went "Instagram official" in August on Shawn's 21st birthday and days later performed together for a steamy VMA's performance where they almost kissed. But don't worry, it's not like they're afraid to show the world their PDA — since then they've been photographed kissing all over the place. However, I'd be remiss not to mention that the jury is still out on whether or not this relationship is the real deal, or great marketing for their song, "Senorita." 10. Jesse Williams and Taylour Paige Valerie Macon / Getty Images Jesse Williams and Taylour Paige were first seen together at the Sundance Film Festival and made their couple debut in May at a fashion show at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. Since then, they've been keeping us updated on their lives via social media. 11. Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid Dimitrios Kambouris / Getty Images In July, Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid (yes, brother to Gigi and Bella) were seen "getting cozy," as they say, at a festival in London and later at Anwar's Grandmother's funeral. They've been together ever since. 12. Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin Robyn Beck / Getty Images In February, Miranda revealed in an Instagram post that she had met someone AND secretly gotten married! The lucky man she married is Brendan McLoughlin, an NYPD cop who was stationed outside of Good Morning America, who has been attached at her side ever since. 13. Halsey and Evan Peters Lisa O'connor / Getty Images After breaking things off with Yungblud this summer, photos emerged of Evan and Halsey holding hands at a Six Flags in October. In late October, Halsey accompanied Evan Peters to an American Horror Story Halloween party, where they dressed as Sonny & Cher (above). 14. Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund Jola, Enav, Joga / Bruce/WCP/Javiles / BACKGRID Emma and Garrett were first spotted kissing outside of a restaurant in Los Angeles. They haven't attended any events together or spoken about their relationship on the record yet, but they've been photographed walking around and looking happy together all year long. 15. Noah Centineo and Alexis Ren Frazer Harrison / Getty Images In September, reports surfaced about the actor and the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model having been seen together in Florida. Later this year, the pair made their red couple debut at the UNICEF Masquerade Halloween Ball (above). 16. Jeannie Mai and Young Jeezy Paras Griffin / Getty Images During an episode of The Real in January, Jennie announced that she was dating Young Jeezy, but downplayed the seriousness by saying, "we're just having a good time together. Honestly." But that good time turned into the real deal and the pair made their red carpet debut as a couple in October (above) at the grand opening of Tyler Perry's new studio. 17. Brandon Lee and Kathryn Newton Kevin Tachman / Getty Images This pair attended the amFAR gala in July and was later spotted out in August. You know Kathryn from Big Little Lies, The Society, and Detective Pikachu, and Brandon — whose parents are Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee — appeared on the latest season of The Hills.
