I was almost too miffed to even look down, but when I did, I saw a dark velvet box where the chocolate cake was supposed to be. Inside it was a diamond ring."

Portia made a surprise appearance on The Ellen Show to give her wife the gift, and Ellen said it was "the best gift anyone could have given" her.
"It seems as if the world would still be a stranger to me, if not for you," Lili wrote. "I'm so thankful that our paths intertwined to form this beautiful adventure."
Cole simply said Lili was "both the birthday and the gift".
"When you first have the baby in your arms, it's just like...uncontrollable," Travis said on The Ellen Show. "It's like this whole warp that takes over your body. I never thought I could love something so hard, you know? It's crazy."
Mila revealed that the couple started out as friends with benefits, but she attempted to call it off after she realised she was developing real feelings for Ashton.
"I felt like I got punched in the gut, literally overnight. I was like, 'You know what, I actually care about you. I don't want to mess anything up so I'm going to walk away before it becomes too much.' And he was like, 'Got it,'" she said in an interview. "The next day, he showed up to my house and he was like, 'Move in with me,' and I said, 'OK.'"
