Diagram showing breakdown of dog'd genetic makeup

Promising review: "Very cool! My dog is a rescue and I was told he was a border collie mix. His personality lead me to do a test because he just didn’t have the personality a border collie. Come to find out he’s a Shih Tzu-pitbull mix, which makes way more sense." —dede123

    Price: $135 (originally $199)

    2. 30% off a Furbo, a treat-tossing pet camera so you can keep an eye on your pet even when you're not home. With its 160-degree wide-angle view, night vision, and real-time barking alerts you'll know exactly what your pup is up to.

    The Furbo

Promising review: "I bought this item for my girlfriend who is deployed overseas in Bahrain. She loves her dog more than anything so I knew this would be a perfect gift for her. The first night I had the Furbo I was awaken several times in the middle of the night by high pitched squealing and giggling of glee from my gf not being able to contain herself. She was so excited to see him, talk to him and give him treats and OH BOY does she like giving him treats! By the time she gets back from her deployment I am sure he will be overweight and wont be able to run to her when she gets home. Thanks Furbo, your product is awesome and we all love it!" —Alex Batlle

    Price: $118 (originally $249)

    3. 27% off a grooming glove that'll satisfy your fur baby's endless desire for some rubbies as well as your desire to not live in a house that's covered in dog fur. It's great if your dog or cat goes running at the sight of a brush.

The grooming glove with silicone nodules, full of hair held in front of a French bulldog
    AnaMaria Glavan / BuzzFeed

My colleague AnaMaria Glavan swears by this thing. In her own words:

"The glove is super comfortable and using it couldn’t be more foolproof: just put it on and run your hands through your pet’s fur. That’s it! The silicone grooves pick up so much fur with ease. Like, my dog looks close to hairless. HOW is he shedding so much!?!? After a few runs, I found that I would have to remove fur from the glove before continuing (you can pick up the fur with your other hand or run the glove under some water — either works) but it’s no biggie. The silicone actually makes it really easy to keep this clean. We got Rockie when he was 5 and he’d been riddled with skin issues and allergies, so I was pretty nervous to use anything that could potentially aggravate his conditions. However! Not only does this *not* bother his skin, but he…loves this. A lot. He starts snoring after exactly two run-throughs on his back. Also, his coat looks SO shiny after each use! TL;DR: this is one of those inexpensive add-ons that any pet owner should have on hand."

    Price: $7.99 (originally $10.99)

    4. 30% off an immunity-boosting Zesty Paws allergy supplement for dogs with skin sensitivities. These soft chews deliver a dose of probiotics and other nutrients to help improve immune function, aide digestion, promote healthy skin, and add shine to a dog's coat.,

Promising review: "Absolutely the best product. It saved my itchy goldendoodle! We tried changing food, Benadryl, medicated shampoo, fish oil, everything you can imagine... nothing worked long-term. He was itching his face so badly he would make himself bleed. Had sores and scabs all over his face and neck. I bought these because they had good reviews and I was desperate. It changed his life! He no longer scratches AT ALL! His coat looks great and all of his sores are healed. He’s the happiest he’s been which makes me a very happy momma. He is also very picky and never eats treats... he eats these every time so that’s an added bonus!" —Darcie Nation

    Price: $18.17 (originally $25.96)

In the mornings he would try to get into it himself so we would go throw the ball into the lake for him! Medium fit perfectly for our oddly shaped dog. Has different velcro and buckles to change sizes and make it a custom fit!" —Jessi

Small tan and white dog lying on a gray rectangular dog bed

Promising review: "I have three large breed dogs and once I laid this bed down for each of them they went right to sleep. They normally dig at other beds to make it comfy but not this one. They are all snoring away in comfort!!!" —Amazon Customer

It also monitors your pet's activity levels and behaviors (like licking and scratching) so you're aware of potential health problems. A subscription also comes with on-demand access to a vet!

Promising review: "This is absolutely the best GPS product for my dogs I have used so far! I live in the country where Wi-Fi is poor, but my Whistle works great! I am amazed at the battery life. Before I had to recharge the devices every three days, but with this whistle the battery drops less than 5% a day! Amazing. I love watching my dogs reach the goals I’ve set for them as well as seeing how many miles they have run each day and where they go in our yard (we live on an acreage). Best thing by far is being alerted when they get out of our yard able to track them. Very accurate GPS. We will always own a Whistle." —Debbie Lynn White

Price: $103.96 (originally $128.95+; available in three colors).

    8. 18% off a set of elevated cat bowls (plus an extra 20% off if you clip the coupon on the page!) if you wish Mittens would stop knocking over her food bowl. Just once, Mittens! Promising review: "I have always had a problem with my one cat vomiting undigested food. My vet told me she was probably eating too fast. I stumbled upon an ad on Facebook stating the bowl position was the reason for cats vomiting; bowls resting on the floor put their neck at an odd angle and can cause acid reflux. I’ve used them for about two weeks and my cat has not vomited once! It was almost a daily occurrence prior to purchasing these! I did have to rest their old bowls inside these to get them to eat. But after a few days I could put the food directly into these bowls and they did not complain." —kindlefire09-8

    Price: $18.39 (originally $27.99)

    9. 20% off a cherry-shaped scratching post for convincing the cat to attack this and not your couch legs.

    10. Up to 42% off a calming and super cozy donut pillow that's lightweight enough to carry around everywhere so your doggo or feline friend will never have to leave home without a comfy place to rest.,

Promising review: "It must be super comfortable because my male cat keeps the other cats from using it. That has forced me to buy two more to keep peace in the household. This is one of those type of items that my cats instantly liked. There was no getting use to it and then after a week or so they might sleep on it. Nope, as soon as I opened it up and placed it on the floor - The big male cat was on it and stayed on it for many hours." —ChirpingBirdy

Price: $18.97+ (originally $25.99+; available in three sizes and three colors)

    12. 20% off a set of waterproof booties to keep your doggo's little toe beans protected at all times. You can let them roam free and never worry about hot gravel or prickly thorns ruining their day at the dog park.,

Promising review: "Awesome booties. These babies stay on. She runs, jumps and does everything she normally does except, she can't scratch if needed. (Just gonna have to wait, that's all.) Bought a size 6 for my 50-lb. girl Pitty. She's small but solid. Live in NW 'burbs of Chicago. We walk a couple of miles a day. Our neighborhood has no side walks. When it sleets or snows, road salt is an issue. As most dogs do, she likes to off road it, so it's in the snow, on the street, repeat. These keep her paws from getting packed up with snow and salt. Initially, it's kind of a hassle getting them on, but it gets easier. If you buy them, put them on your dog in the house and let figure them out. And strap 'em down good." —earshplitten

Price: $22.39+ (originally $27.99; available in seven sizes and four colors).

    13. 20% off a slanted pet bowl to help your precious pooch reach every last bit of kibble in the bowl without accidentally flipping it over.

The stainless steel bowl can be removed and is dishwasher-safe.

Promising review: "Ordered the large bowls for my 40-lb French bulldog. Could have maybe gone with XL bowl for water but large was perfect for his food. I use a mixture of wet/dry food and the round bowl makes it easier for him to eat every last bite. Keeps his face cleaner and seems to make it easier for him to reach in! Love these! Ordered a few replacement bowls to switch out after meals. Seem to be holding up well in the dishwasher!" —Shai

Price: $11.95+ (originally $14.94+; available in four sizes and 11 colors).

    14. 41% off a packet of plant-based compostable dog wipes so you can quickly wipe down your pup in between more thorough bath sessions.

reviewer holding up a packet of earth rated dog wipes

Promising review: "OK, so it might be a bit much to say that I’m ‘obsessed’ with dog wipes, right? Wrong, they are just that good. I’ve tried so many dog wipes but none compare to these. The wipes are extra damp (and stay that way even after opening) which means one wipe goes a long way. They also smell great, have a thick feel, and are hypoallergenic. I have a dog who has sensitive skin and we use these wipes after walks to get rid of allergies. Game-changer. Try them out. You won’t be disappointed!" –I Only Shop Online

Price: $22.49 for 400 wipes (originally $37.99; available in lavender or unscented)

    15. 23% off a nail clippers with a safety guard that's especially perfect for the pooch who throws a major temper tantrum every time you try to groom their paws.

reviewer holding up a pair of blue nail clippers in front of a dog

It also comes with a nail file you can insert into the trimmer, and the blue handles are ergonomically designed to keep your hands comfortable as you're grooming them.

Promising review: "I have had all kinds of nail clippers, I didn't like any of them. I bought this pair a few weeks and absolutely love them; apparently my dog does also. He sits perfectly still while I trimmed his nails, which he has never done! They are sharp and make a good clean cut without cutting the dog's nails to make them bleed. He is a 9-lb Maltese and a year old. I have a 12-year-old Maltapoo and knew I would have trouble cutting her nails, as the older she gets the grumpier she gets, sorta like all of us. She is quite a bit larger than the male. She weighs approximately 18 lbs. I sit her on my lap and she saw the clippers in my hand and got skittish. Anyway, after one nail trim, she did not flinch at all, she sat perfectly still until I clipped all her nails." —Just me

    Price: $12.28 (originally $15.95)

    16. 30% off a pet hair dryer (plus an extra $5 off when you clip the coupon!) to help speed up the drying process after a stressful bath session. It's super quiet so it won't scare them away, and it even works as a brush to help detangle and smooth out their fur.

Promising review: "I was very skeptical that this would actually work well on my thick, curly-coated Doodle. I purchased it somewhat on a whim, knowing that it would be easier and more efficient to use than a full-size high-velocity dryer. I'm very surprised at how much I actually like the drying brush! Our dog is used to grooming (I fully groom her myself), and she is brushed every 3-4 days. She has always been terrified of the traditional dryers, and it's hard to get her to keep still for those. I bought this brush hoping that it would be less scary, and she would just think it's a normal brush that she is used to. With lots of treats, I was able to introduce her to this drying brush! She isn't scared of it, and I was able to both brush and dry her at the same time. It is definitely not as powerful as a high-velocity professional dryer, but it does the job. I let my dog air dry for a while after her bathing, towel-dried her as much as possible, and used the brush dryer to finish up the drying process before clipping her fur." —Brian Harkins

    Price: $27.99 (originally $39.99)

    17. 30% off a two-tiered cat condo with two scratching posts your furball can go to town on and a comfy hammock bed so they can relax once they tire themselves out.

Two cats laying in two-tiered cat condo

Promising review: "I've purchased several different scratching posts for our cat in an attempt to get him to stop tearing up our furniture but he never pays any attention to them at all. Not even when I cover them in catnip... He prefers the corners of the couch. Until we purchased this scratching post.... It took him all of 5 minutes to warm up to it and now it's his favorite thing. He loves the little hammock on top and the toy attached to it. And the best part? He uses the scratching posts instead of my couch! Woooo! Very happy with this purchase." —Kate S.

Price: $19.39 (originally $27.72; also available in beige)

Promising review: "These work so well for my tiny dogs. I love that I don’t have to worry about being gone from the house for any length of time. My dogs quickly learned how to use the pads and sometimes I think they prefer to use them instead of going outside. The plastic is thick/heavy duty and the top white part is very absorbent. These are on my subscribe and save." —Rebecca S.

Price: $17.49 (originally $24.99; also available in three other sizes and various pack sizes)

    19. 30% off scented dog poop bags with a handy dispenser you can attach right to their leash so you'll always be prepared when nature calls.

Amazon Basics dog poop bag dispenser next to roll of bags and a leash

Promising review: "Picture this. It's twilight on a summer's evening and your canine companion has chosen your persnickety neighbor's freshly mown lawn as the place to do his business. In the distance just turning the corner, you see said neighbor's car headlights leaving you about 30 seconds to clean up the evidence. Not to fear you have the AmazonBasics enhanced dog waste bag which has arrows and words telling you which is the top and bottom and unlike other bags it is easy to slide the plastic apart. Being a substantial bag, you are able to reach down, remove the evidence, tie off the bag as its large enough to leave you room to do so and be ready to wave to your neighbor as he pulls into the driveway." —Donna S.

Promising review: "Honestly, I've only had this camera for 3 weeks but I already feel like I have gotten my money's worth. It's easy to setup and the app's user interface is really easy. I use this to monitor my new puppy when I am working from home in my study or sleeping in my bedroom. I essentially use it as a baby monitor so I know when she wakes up to take her out to get her used to potty training. I use it when I am not home to check on her. The night vision is also really clear." —Maleeha

    Price: $37.28 (originally $49.99)

    21. 24% off a bottle of Rocco & Roxie, an odor-eliminating spray so you can lift stains and smells fast. Each spray releases bacteria that feeds on the ammonia left behind after your pet's accidents, eliminating the urine completely and deterring your pet from peeing in the same spot again.

    The spray bottle

Promising review: "I have six elderly cats, and a few of them oftentimes leave smelly pee puddles to register their disdain at whatever cats get 'peed off' about. It's not a litter box problem and, although I've caught one or two of them doing it, I can't blame them all. This product works great on fresh messes as well as dried ones. After blotting up fresh pee pods, I saturate the area with Rocco & Rossi's odor remover and let dry. For dried stinky stuff, I just saturate the area and let it dry. It has a pleasant odor and completely eliminates the ammonia odor. Believe me, I've tried all kinds of products, and this one works the best. I buy gallons now just to have on hand. It's better than smelling that awful pee!" —mona mia

    Price: $15.17 (originally $19.94)

Love the rubber on the bottom so it doesn’t slip around and the tubes that tuck into the crevice of the seats for more stability!" —scott yarnell
