1. An Out From Under square-neck jumpsuit so easy to slip on in the morning and make it feel like you're still in bed while also feeling professional enough to tackle your long to-do list.

"If I had to buy loungewear/intimates from only one brand for the rest of my life, it would be Out From Under. I have lived my entire life in these 100% cotton overalls, so much so that I bought multiple pairs. They are comfy meets cute, which is exactly what I need in my WFH wardrobe." —Kayla Suazo, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

Get them from Urban Outfitters for $49 (originally $59; available in women's sizes XS-XL and in five colors).

2. Opaque leggings so versatile, you can wear them for lounging around, working out, or out of the house, no matter the occasion.

"I am wearing these leggings right now as I write this. They are soft, not too thick, and are not at all see-through. In fact, the only thing I asked for last Christmas was three pairs of these leggings — and urged my mom to get them for my sisters as well. I'm a big fan!" —Heather Braga, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

Promising review: "Wow! I was extremely skeptical of these leggings considering they’re a 'one size fits all' type of deal. I am 5'5" and curvier. I was worried they were going to be too tight or see-through. However, that’s not the case! They are not see-through even after three washes so far. They are extremely soft and comfortable. The only thing I noticed is they are more of a muted black compared to some of my other leggings but it’s barely noticeable. I liked them so much I ordered a second pair. Def would recommend!" —nichole campton

Get it from Amazon for $13.99 (available in women's one size and plus size and in 53 colors, lengths, and styles).

3. A Buck Mason felted chore coat made from boiled merino wool, which is actually made to create air pockets in the fiber so you stay warm yet not so warm that you start sweating (because nobody wants that).

"I purchased this chore coat a while ago, and I can't say enough about it. I wanted something soft and cozy to wear while working from home in the tundra that is northern Michigan, but also wanted to feel a tad more sophisticated than the shorts and T-shirts I've been sporting all summer. Now, I slip this on every morning over my pajamas and consider it my way of 'getting dressed' for work. Sometimes wool can irritate my neck and wrists, but this boiled merino is so incredibly soft and hasn't given me any skin irritation at all. The best way I can describe this chore coat is that it combines all the best things about your favorite warm sweater, the ease and simplicity of a cardigan, combined with the versatility of a neutral jacket. It's quickly become the centerpiece of my uniform." —Griffin Gonzales, BuzzFeed Shopping Writer

Get it from Buck Mason for $225 (available in men's sizes Xs-XXL and in six colors).

4. A polka dot ruffle dress for when you want to feel a little fancier without compromising your comfort level at all. This dress can do both.,

Promising review: "This dress exceeded my expectations. It’s light, flowy, cute, and comfortable! I usually order a size up to avoid dresses being too short (I’m 5’7"), but a lot of reviews said this runs big, so I ordered a medium, and the length ended up being perfect at just above my knees." —Amanda

Get it from Amazon for $26.99 (available in sizes S-XL and in 12 colors, patterns, and sleeve lengths).

5. A Richer Poorer fleece sweatsuit or in other words, your new Monday through Friday uniform from now until it gets warm (and then you can wear the pieces separately with other items in your closet).

Chelsea Stuart, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

"Plus one to Richer Poorer! I have lived in this sweatshirt. It is the comfiest, softest thing I own."—Melanie Aman, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

And I'm going to have to third the recommendation by my colleagues. I actually splurged a bit at the beginning of quarantine because I knew I would get so much wear out of this. And let me tell you, it was SO worth it. I wore this sweatsuit at least a couple of times a week during March, April, and even May and have worn it many more times since. It's super soft and comfortable, yet I still feel put together. I do think it runs pretty true to size, so if you want more of an oversized look, I'd order one size up. But trust me, you will not regret this purchase.

Get it from Richer Poorer for $100 (originally $144; available in women's sizes XS-XL for both pieces and four colors for the sweatshirt and seven colors for the sweatpants).

6. A bell-sleeve blouse with a mesh patchwork design on the sleeves for an added detail that makes it the perfect top to throw on when you have to give that big presentation over Zoom. (Plus, I've heard it looks great with pajama pants in that instance.),

Promising review: "This blouse is so pretty! I’ve received so many compliments wearing it! It’s super comfortable and the fabric is so nice! It’s so amazing that my mom and sister bought their own! If you’re looking for a comfy chic top for a great price, then get this blouse! It can be dressed up or down and is so easy to pair with any outfit! Also, it makes a great gift!" —Kelli Nunn

Get it from Amazon $16.99 (available in sizes S-XXL and in 34 colors and patterns).

7. MeUndies lounge pants specifically designed with a no-roll elastic waistband because, in the year 2020, we do NOT need to deal with sweatpants that roll up as we wear them. We deserve so much better than that, and these sweatpants meet those qualifications.

"These are super comfortable. I easily wear them four times a week and get so many compliments. They're pricey but worth it." —Daniella Emanuel, BuzzFeed Jr. Staff Writer

Get them from MeUndies for $68 (available in women's sizes XS-4X and in 28 colors and prints).

8. A tie-dye long-sleeved set in either a shorts style or long pants style that you'll love so much you'll probably convince all your friends to get their own set (or two), just like one BuzzFeed shopping editor did.

"I own the shorts set, and now all my friends have it too." —Maitland Quitmeyer, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

Promising review: "The moment they arrived, I put them on and have not taken them off since. JK. They're my daytime pajamas basically and keep me nice and toasty. 10/10 would order more." —Samantha Quinn

Get it from Amazon for $25.99 (available in women's sizes S-XXL and in 29 colors, styles, and sleeve and pants lengths).

9. A fuzzy sherpa pullover one BuzzFeed editor swears feels like you're living in an actual fluffy cloud, and I can't be the only one that's had that dream since they were little...

a model in the fuzzy black pullover

"I have been *living* in this pullover the last few weeks now that the temps have started to drop a bit. It literally feels like I'm wearing a blanket. I cannot even describe to you just how soft it is — it's what I imagine living in an actual fluffy cloud would feel like." —Heather Braga, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

Promising review: "I don’t even know how to start... this is honestly the best purchase I’ve ever made from AE. It’s the softest thing I’ve ever owned. Feels like I’m wearing a cloud. I’m 5'9" and 160 lbs. I bought it in small and XS online, both fit but I decided on the small for a more cozy fit." —Creasy

Get it from Aerie for $32.97 (originally $54.95; available in women's sizes XXS–XXL).

10. A pair of patterned high-waisted leggings with more than 15,000 (!!!) 5-star reviews saying these may just well be the BEST. LEGGINGS. EVER.,

Promising review: "I'm a stylist and have been trying on many, many Amazon leggings for fit. These are the best for my curvy hips and a smaller waist. I am about a size 12, and these are not too thick but have compression. The feel is GREAT. They seem very high quality. They are so completely comfortable I am wearing them without something covering my butt, for the first time in about a year. (These show off my curves!) I'm wearing a size L and am now shopping for several other pairs!!." —Auretha, Soul Stylist

Get them from Amazon for $29.99 (available in sizes XS-XL and in 22 patterns).

11. A gingham top and ruffle-hem short set that, yes, *technically* are pajamas, but we're passed judging what are and aren't pajamas these days, right? These are cute, comfortable, and super stylish, so what's not to love?

"I bought a second set of these after feeling how soft and comfy they were! With the ruffle details, the top is cute enough to not just sleep in, but also wear on a Facetime date or Zoom meeting!" —Katy Herman, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

Get the set from Draper James for $58 (available in women's sizes XS-XXL).

12. Joggers comfy enough to wear around the house all day but nice enough that you can also wear them when you head out to the grocery store.

Reviewer wearing the joggers in black

Promising review: "I wasn't sure what to think based on the description alone. You just never know. But as soon as these bad boys arrived, I fell in love with them. They fit great and are sooo comfortable. The fabric feels almost like a very thin cashmere and I like that they have pockets so I can haul things around. I bought these to replace a pair of terry joggers whose drawstring broke and just wanted them to be as easy and comfortable and cozy. They totally are. I want to buy them in every color and wear 20 pairs at once." —Meredith in Maine

Get them from Amazon for $13.99 (available in sizes S-3X and 20+ colors and prints).

13. A simple V-neck short-sleeved shirt made with 5% Spandex, so it won't be a ~stretch~ to say that this will so quickly become one of your favorites that you'll go back and grab another color (or two).,

Promising review: "This is one of my go-to tees. It's my absolute favorite and so comfy. I bought a large. I usually wear a medium, but I wanted a baggier look. I have washed and dried this tee numerous times, and it has not shrunk, nor lost its shape or color. Grab one before they are gone!! I have one in black, gray, and white." —J. Edwards

Get it from Amazon for $17.99 (available in women's sizes S-XXL and in 33 colors and prints).

14. Some joggers designed with the same look as sweatpants but the same material as leggings. AKA the best of both worlds.

Model wearing the high-waisted joggers in black

These joggers are one of my favorite purchases this year. I personally believe that Aerie has some of the best comfy clothes, and my closet would have to agree. These joggers are many with one of the softest materials I've ever felt. They essentially feel like butter. And I love that they're high waisted yet aren't too tight. I bought these over the summer, and they were not too hot to wear on even the warmest of days. But now that it's winter, I'm still wearing them. They're so versatile. I've worn them with T-shirts, sweatshirts, and even sweaters. You really can't go wrong picking up a pair of these for yourself.

Get them from Aerie for $38.46 (originally $54.95; available in women's sizes XS-XXL, short, long, and in three colors).

15. A pair of bike shorts that are not only a ~wheely~ good purchase because they're made out of a stretchy material, but they also have pockets on the side, so you can stash your phone (or keys or mask) in it when you head out to run an errand.

Reviewer wearing the high-waisted bike shorts in green

Promising review: "I LOVE these and practically live in them. The fabric is thick and totally squat proof. The pockets on both legs are great for carrying a phone, cards/cash, keys — I can just run out of the house without needing a purse (so liberating!). I wear these for working out, hanging out at home, running errands... I am short (5'4") and the 5" inseam hits just about mid-thigh." —Kelsey O.

Get them from Amazon for $19.99 (available in women's sizes XS-5X and in 42 colors and lengths).

16. A scoop-neck cotton bra smartly made without any underwire or padding so you won't have to deal with any poking or prodding while you dive into yet another Netflix binge.

TomboyX, Kayla Boyd / BuzzFeed

"As someone who is rather busty, I find this bra to be supportive enough to feel secure, but like a slice of heaven when I don't feel like wearing a more structured bra (which is basically all the time). It has great coverage, which is really hard to find once you move out of the D-range of bra sizes." —Kayla Boyd, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

TomboyX is a queer-owned business on a mission to create underwear and swimsuits that any body can feel comfortable in no matter their size or gender. In addition to bras, they also have underwear sleepwear, swimwear, socks, and more.

Get it from TomboyX for $32 (available in unisex sizes XS–4X and 32 colors and patterns).

17. An alien patch sweatshirt you'll need to make ~space~ for in your wardrobe because it's a classic style with a fun added detail.

Genevieve Scarano / BuzzFeed,

"I wear this sweatshirt all the time! It goes well with joggers and leggings, and it's my go-to piece of clothing whenever I'm relaxing at home or spending solo time outdoors." —Genevieve Scarano, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

Promising review: "I love these shirts, I got the black alien and the white wave shirt. They fit perfect and have held up (as well as the designs) through lots of washes. I wear these out during the day and I also wear them to bed sometimes because they’re so comfy. ❤️" —sara

Get it from Amazon for $23.99 (available in women's sizes XS-XL and 37 colors and styles).

18. Western Rise slim pants created to actually be more comfortable (and stretchier) than your favorite jeans while still being nice enough that you can dress them up or down for basically any occassion.

Model wearing the pants in blue
Western Rise

John Mihaly, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

Promising review: "I just bought my second pair of AT Slim pants. They have completely replaced jeans because they are more comfortable, hold up better, and look better. They also dress up well with a nice shirt and shoes making them the perfect travel clothes. I am in between sizes and ordered up on my first pair. Because of the stretch, they felt a bit loose. The second pair, I exchanged for one size smaller. There were no questions asked and the turnaround time was quick, even during COVID. I sound like a shill, I’m not, just a happy customer." —Dave C.

Get them from Western Rise for $128 (available in men's sizes 28-40 and in five colors).

19. An oversized crewneck pullover sweater you'll be ~over~ joyed to wear for the rest of winter because you'll look nice while at the same time feeling like you're wearing a blanket all day long.,

Promising review: "This is incredibly soft. It is big and baggy and a large weave, but thick, and so it is wonderfully comfortable. The colors are rich and deep. Because it is such a large weave, it can snag on some things but seems to also be easy to stretch it back into shape. With that being the case though, not sure how to tighten it again to maintain shape, mostly in the cuffs. This honestly just feels like wearing a personal blanket." —Jackie Giusti

Get it from Amazon for $39.97 (available in one women's size and in 22 colors).

20. A super cozy crew top and track pants set I actually think was the softest thing I put on my body this year. No exaggeration, this set is AH-mazing.

Model wearing the crewneck sweater and track pants in light grey

I really have no idea what the set is made of. Clouds? Dreams? Happiness? Whatever it is, it is SO soft. I actually audibly said, "Wow, I think this is the softest thing I put on my body" the first time I put these on, even though I was in my room by myself. Not only is this set super soft, but it's pretty stylish too. I've worn it around the house all day to work and felt super put together. It's been a rough year for everyone, and a soft sweatsuit will not change that, but this set just might bring you a little comfort and happiness, and that's all that we need at this moment.

Get the set from Knix: $55 (for the top; available in women's sizes S-XXL and in white and grey) and $55 (for the bottoms; available in women's sizes S-XXL and in white and grey).

21. A Calvin Klein cotton bralette reviewers swear is supportive no matter how big or small your boobs are.,

Promising review: "These are so comfortable that I just bought two more. They're perfect for running errands, cleaning the house, or just lounging around. If you’re in the market for 2020 loungewear, this is a great addition to your at-home wardrobe." —Kiely582

Get it from Amazon for $24 (available in women's sizes XS-3X and in 29 colors and patterns).

22. Spanx high-waisted leggings so great you might climb a mountain *just* to ~shout from the mountain tops~ about how amazing these stretchy, comfortable, no-roll-waistband leggings are.

BuzzFeed editor Elizabeth Lilly in the full-length black leggings standing on a rock on a hike overlooking the ocean showing the back view
Elizabeth Lilly / BuzzFeed

"This was me hiking last summer in Santorini posing for a photo op. It felt like a looong hike (I don't hike often, OK?). Despite POURING In sweat and walking up pretty steep inclines, my leggings did not bunch or roll. I've worn them what I guess is 50+ times since both for running errands in my hood and for actual workouts. They're super comfy, wash well (I send them out for wash and fold laundry service, which can be rough on clothes), are seamless all over, and flatten the look of my stomach (if that's a concern) without making me feeling like I'm in a sausage casing. They're my nicest pair of leggings and honestly, I thought I lived in my Spanx leggings before quarantine, but now they've basically become one with my leg skin." —Elizabeth Lilly, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

Get them from Spanx for $78 (available in women's sizes XS-3X).

23. A sleeveless wide-leg jumpsuit that's cute on its own yet will also look good with a T-shirt (or even a turtleneck) under it so you can wear it all year long.,

"I adore this jumpsuit. It's very soft and versatile. Wear it alone, with a cardigan, or layered over a favorite T-shirt! It does pill (as other reviews point out) but a session with my sweater shaver leaves it looking fresh again!" —Danielle Healy, BuzzFeed Shopping Writer

Promising review: "I haven’t felt attractive in a piece of clothing since somewhere around the end of second trimester over a year ago! This is so cute and I get compliments every time I wear it. It has MASSIVE pockets (yes!!), and the drawstring waist helps it hang just right. The only reason I don’t own it in every color already is that the leg fabric is pilling REALLY badly. I’m worried it will wear out soon, but it is worth every penny in price per wear. I’ve worn it all summer." —Leslie Reads a Lot

Get it from Amazon for $26.35 (sizes available in women's XS–XXL and in five colors).

24. A pair of Nice Laundry pocket lounge shorts you'll want to wear every single day and then miss profusely when laundry day comes and you have to live without them for one day. (And if that happens, you might as well buy another pair so you never have to be without them.)

Nice Laundry

"I own several pairs of these shorts and they are hands-down the most comfortable lounge shorts of all time. They somehow have the breathability of nylon basketball shorts, but also have a just-warm-enough fleece-like lining that sets them apart from other athletic shorts. I am unashamed in admitting that I live in mine. You can also have them personalized with a letter or symbol of your choice (and believe me, you'll need to do this because everyone in your household is going to end up purchasing multiple pairs and you'll need to be able to differentiate whose is whose)." —Griffin Gonzales, BuzzFeed Shopping Writer

Promising review: "These shorts are absolutely incredible! I wear mine almost everyday when after I get home from work. They are so beyond comfortable. They fit true to size, are the perfect length and will be the best decision you’ve ever made to buy them. I would rate them 10 stars if I could. I have since bought two pairs of every color since my first purchase!!" —Levi V.

Get them from Nice Laundry for $42 or $49 for the personalized and customized pairs (available in men's sizes S-XL and eight colors).

25. Stretchy jeggings mixing the look of denim with the feel of leggings — and that really is what Hillary Duff was singing about when she said, "This is what dreams are made of." I'm sure of it.

Heather Braga / BuzzFeed, American Eagle

"These 'dream jeans' are *so* stretchy and soft that I prefer them to pretty much any other pair in my closet. As seen in the photo above, I was able to comfortably get on the ground to pet a pup without any issue (priorities). They don't cut into my waist — if I was capable of doing a cartwheel, I could definitely do one in these. I love them so much I sent a few pairs along to my sister who is also now obsessed." —Heather Braga, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

Promising review: "These are pretty jeans. I am usually an XS/0 but since they are stretchable I figured I'd go a size down and these fit perfectly. They fit just right, I love how they stretch and how comfortable I feel in them all day." —Sandra

Get them from American Eagle for $44.96 (originally $59.95; available in sizes 000–24, in short, regular, and long sizes, and six colors).

26. A cropped tank top with a built-in bra great for keeping you in place and comfortable during yoga and Pilates — or even layered under a sweatshirt or jacket.,

I recently ordered this top to see what the hype was all about, and, let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The top is so comfortable and hits right where my high-waisted leggings end, which means there's no extra fabric around my waist. The top is great for low-impact workouts — but I also love to wear it every day because it eliminates the need to wear a sports bra and a tank top, so it's perfect to layer under sweatshirts and even sweaters.

Promising review: "This top is so cute and comfortable! It works best for yoga and low-intensity workouts, but I have worn it during high-intensity workouts, and it stays put (I do have a smaller chest). Also, it is great quality and very soft." —Emily Mahn

Get it from Amazon for $22.99 (available in women's sizes S-XXL and in 19 colors).

27. A pair of seamless bike shorts one BuzzFeed editor swears feel like you're basically wearing nothing, which is one of the best qualities in a piece of comfortable clothes, if you ask me.

BuzzFeed editor Emma Lord in the bike shorts in pink
Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

"These shorts come in a bazillion rotating colors because they sell out so quickly you might blink and miss them. I own a pair in pink (that is me being v cheeky above) and can confirm that they are so comfortable that I genuinely had to look down and make sure I wasn't naked a few times, but still opaque enough to venture out into the world without worrying about everyone seeing your booty. I probably own 10 pairs of bike shorts now (don't look at me), and these are the comfiest by far." —Emma Lord, BuzzFeed Shopping Editor

Get them from Free People for $20 (available in women's sizes XS-L and 19 colors).

28. A Hanes comfort evolution bra because nobody has the time or patience to deal with underwire anymore. I mean, it's almost 2021, we've got bigger things to worry about. This bra gives you the same support as an underwire bra while being so comfortable, you won't want to take it off at the end of the day. And you know that's a true sign it's worth it.

Model wearing the wireless bra in black

Promising review: "I have told all my friends about this bra!!! I am a size 40 H, and I can never find bras that fit and they HURT! They are made out of concrete or something???? With knives that poke my rib cage. There was always a pile of bras on my living room couch because I would take them off as soon as I got off work. Anywho... So I ordered one of these in a 2X. The price was worth the risk. I now own every available color in 2X. This is the first bra I don’t want to burn after wearing for 8 hours. Like I actually don’t hate wearing this!!! And that’s HUGE!" —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $13.94 (available in women's sizes S-3X and in 14 colors).
