Refresh your wardrobe — without having to leave the house or empty your bank account.

Unless otherwise specified, all sizes in this post are listed in women's.

Shopping for cute, stylish, but inexpensive clothing can be hard! Maybe you don't have time to shop in person, or the stores near you just don't have the selection you need — or they're ALWAYS out of stock of the things you want. We're here to help with a selection of online stores that offer wallet-friendly (and fashionable) clothing so you can stay on-trend AND on-budget.

We asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to tell us their favorite inexpensive online clothing stores. Here are the cheap and chic results — plus some suggestions of our own!

    1. Amazon (duh!), your one-stop-shop for anything and everything, certainly including cute and inexpensive clothes. If you don't know where to start (totally get it!), check out customers' most-loved styles for clothes and accessories that reviewers swear by, and do your very own try-on haul!

    2. Nordstrom Rack, the perfect compromise for anyone who loves Nordstrom, but isn't exactly made of money. They carry many of the same brands (including classic designer pieces), so you can get your favorite high-quality items — for cheap.

    3. Boohoo, a UK-based store, that adds up to 100 new items every day. And they have deals (like 50% off!) a lot of the time, so you can feel good about scoring a great buy.

    4. Asos, which carries tons of brands you don't know about yet (think international brands like Monki and Topshop) as well as their own gorge in-house lines, and makes returns free & easy for great fit every time.

    5. Bershka, which is part of the same group of stores as Zara, providing almost-too-cool pieces that look more expensive than they actually are.

    6. Cotton On, a retailer originally from Australia that specializes in unique basics you'll wear all the time.

    7. One Loved Babe, an online boutique full of feminine pieces with a twist. Each piece is hand-picked by the store's owner, plus exclusive pieces!

    8. Rebdolls, a one-stop shop for tons of stylish pieces that's focused on mid-size and plus-size clothing. If you're looking for trendy and colorful pieces to help you stand out from the crowd (and get tons of compliments), look no further.

    9. Express, for way more than inexpensive workwear and work-from-home-wear. Their trendy pieces are on point, too!

    10. Nasty Gal, which has sales on the reg so you can score even *better* deals on all the trends you want to add to your closet. They have really fun party clothes for everyday and your next event, too!

    11. Adore Me, a subscription-based company that has all your lingerie needs covered, plus swim, lounge, and activewear. Pieces are also available outside of the subscription model for higher pricing.

    13. Mango, for stylish eventwear, workwear staples, and the latest trends.

    14. Target, which is so not just for toothpaste — they have several in-house clothing lines, and you can score super cute dresses, high quality athletic wear, and more. Go for some household essentials, come home with a killer wardrobe.

BuzzFeed Shopping is service journalism first: our writers and editors spend all day shopping so you don’t have to, vetting products, fact-checking brand claims, and surfacing what actually helps in real life. We center readers over revenue, recommend products with authenticity (using real experiences, not ad-speak), and reflect our diverse audience, inclusive of a variety of price points, people, and needs. We cut through fake deals, favor useful info over glossy fluff, and recommend both budget and splurge options with context so you can decide what’s right for you — and still have a little fun along the way.

Emma McAnaw is a deputy editorial director who has been been at BuzzFeed for almost a decade so it's safe to say she is *very* passionate about product recommendations! Before BuzzFeed, she worked at Dotdash Meredith (formerly Time Inc.) and Hearst. When she’s not working with the Shopping freelance team, she’s either reading, incorrectly "solving" a mystery show, or saving yet another pasta recipe.

Gabrielle Moss is a former editor who has been writing for BuzzFeed Shopping since 2020, where she's focused on everything from home decor to beauty to where to buy the world's most comfortable high heels.

Maitland Quitmeyer has worked at BuzzFeed for 11+ years. She started out on the lifestyle team, but most of my time here has been on BuzzFeed Shopping, where she is now a Deputy Editorial Director. She has been a shopping editor so long, she remembers when Prime Day was just one day!

Rachelle Yang is a freelancer and former resident writer who has been writing for BuzzFeed shopping for over two years. She covers a wide range of topics, but especially loves writing about unique and quirky finds, beauty products, and trendy fashion pieces. When she’s not typing away, she’s either playing tennis, picking up a DIY hobby, or hunting for the best Vietnamese coffee in NYC.
