#5, my dad actually managed to roll up a hand crank window on his neck when he was a teenager. He was leaning out the window talking to a girl (of course) while absentmindedly rolling up the window. He definitely embarrassed himself in front of that girl.

I think Bette Midler didn't mean literal housekeepers, I think she meant whoever in people's households who are in charge of the laundry and dishes. The people who keep the house, not a hired housekeeper.
