CogitoErgoBibo commented on Want To Make Your Life A Bit Easier? Try Buying One Of These 34 Products

I purchased the Etsy face mask with clear non-fog panel. VERY well made. One thing to note is that it doesn't have an adjustable nose wire. I purchased some after-market nose wires on Amazon which are as easy as peeling backing off, sticking them on the outside of the mask, and…

CogitoErgoBibo commented on If You’re New To Running, Here Are 30 Things You’ll Probably Find Helpful

Understood, Kbd. It's really up to all of us. I agree that any grouping of people, walkers or runners, is doing it wrong. Taking up an entire pathway and forcing people into traffic is wrong, no matter your speed. I wish people would, on streets, take note of the direction of traffic.…

CogitoErgoBibo commented on If You’re New To Running, Here Are 30 Things You’ll Probably Find Helpful

Stephanie, good point on distancing enough to make a mask less necessary. IF people would distance, you're right. Around here, they don't. I'm also sure there are walkers here who are the assholes. If everyone would just work together to distance, a lot of problems could be avoided.…

CogitoErgoBibo commented on If You’re New To Running, Here Are 30 Things You’ll Probably Find Helpful

If you choose to run, DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE. I obviously can't speak for everywhere, but I've switched to a treadmill for my walks because the runners in my neighborhood won't practice social distancing and don't wear masks. They force others into the street to avoid them and huff and…

If you want to be really frugal, skip admission to the museum and shop for fun penis-themed items in the gift shop out front instead. My penis museum coffee cup is my favorite souvenir!

CogitoErgoBibo commented on What Tips Do You Have For Wedding Dress Shopping?

Absolutely do not limit yourself to considering only bridal gowns. Prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses or any other "event" dresses can be used for your wedding! Several bonuses: More places to shop; more variety from which to choose; generally cheaper; and you can probably wear it again.…

Wouldn't even be surprised if zip ties pretty much guarantee TSA searches your bag, since you didn't use a TSA-approved lock to secure your bag.

CogitoErgoBibo commented on What Shopping Questions Would You Like Answers To?

Seconded. Petite brands tend to be unstylish, expensive, made largely of polyester and aimed at a really old age bracket (like, my grandmother). Other than Old Navy/Gap, I have yet to find petite lines that come close to fitting, being affordable and somewhat on trend. Would love…

CogitoErgoBibo commented on What's The Most Creative Way You've Seen People Cut Costs On Their Wedding Day?

Apartment club-houses are the bomb. I rented mine for the rehearsal and wedding, using the complex's usual caterer to hold the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner/wedding/reception all in one place. So many bonuses: Saved money; allowed to use the show apartment as a dressing room for the…

CogitoErgoBibo commented on 21 TV Moments From This Week That We Can't Stop Talking About

In the "making of" clip for that episode, they say the clapping was spontaneous on the part of the extras lining the hospital as Emily enters the scene. The director liked it and decided to keep it.
