Last week, Vulture did a feature on all the badasses that the badass Danny Trejo has portrayed on film in honor of his current starring role in Robert Rodriguez's Machete. Last on that list was the role of himself in a 2005 documentary about his life as an ex-con-turned-drug-abuse-counselor called Champion. Two things about Danny Trejo and this film. 1) It's f-ing awesome. And 2) Why didn't I know about it? Watch the whole thing on Netflix and be amazed.
