Promising review: "This toner has transformed my skin. I've been searching for years to perfect my anti-aging skincare routine, and this is at the top of my list. I've seen a noticeable difference in the brightness, tone, and clarity of my skin in just over two weeks using it. My under-eye bags and wrinkles have also been incredibly lessened. It does cause some sensitivity when using a serum or eye cream afterwards, and I'm extra careful about using sunscreen, but all in all, this toner is amazing. Love all of the MB products I've tried so far; packaging might not be shiny or fancy, but it gets you results!" —Kingfisher55

Promising review: "I usually only trust high-end highlighters because drugstore ones tend to not be very reflective, but I’m blown away by this collection. The color is beautiful and it does contain some glitter. If you like the rosy color, but want no glitter I recommend you get the molten gold rose." —Andrea Calleros
Get it from Amazon for $7.49+ (available in three shades).
These highlighters also come in two holographic/prismatic versions, and you can read my review of the ~purple~ shade in "Just 8 Maybelline Products We Really Love" (#3).
Promising review: "Love this makeup blender! I have tried so many. I used to use Real Techniques and they must have changed the way they made their sponge, because it wasn’t the same. I ordered this and love it! When you get it wet it gets huge but doesn’t get super wet, so it’s great for blending makeup and leaves a fresh, dewy finish! My must-have!" —Katie
It's also cruelty-free and 100% vegan!
Promising review: "I'm really happy with my purchase. Usually I use coconut oil as an inexpensive and natural makeup remover and this product does the same trick, but it's a lot less messy and a little goes a long way! I highly recommend if you are looking for a quick and easy makeup remover that won't strip away the natural oils in our face or make it too greasy!" —Amazon Customer

They say you don't have to follow up with a water-based cleanser...so that's up to you, but I ~personally~ still would.
Promising review: "They say that you really don't know the true value of most things in life until you no longer have them. This is one of those items for me! A full bottle of this cleansing oil lasted me about a little over seven months. For reference, I have super oily (oily on the outside, but dry on the inside) skin and very sensitive and acne-prone skin. I was able to lightly rub the oil onto my entire face and gently take off all of my makeup at once! It miraculously lifts and pulls on the dirt and debris trapped inside my (huge) pores and made my blackheads nearly invisible for most of the time after cleansing. This is an amazing pore-shrinker." —SAPfan

The coconut extract moisturizes while the coffee helps stimulate blood circulation, which reduces inflammation and tightens skin.
Promising review (for Coffee): "I have really sensitive skin that tends to break out with certain products. I bought this to try on my body just to find out what the craze was with the sticks and ended up using it on my face as well. This product is amazing! My skin doesn’t break out from it and it actually cleans deeper into my pores than I expected and it even made my pores look smaller! I have combination skin as well, and my face doesn’t get oily-looking by the end of the day." —Debs
Get it from Amazon for $4.99+ (available in Charcoal and Coffee).
Promising review: "I have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin, and have always been wary of chemical exfoliants — most just tend to irritate my skin and make me break out more. I was a little concerned about the price tag, but I reminded myself that the upfront cost would be one-and-done, since there are no brush heads to buy. And honestly, this brush has been worth every penny! After the first use, my skin felt the smoothest it has ever felt! The only (minor) drawback, was that the first week or two, I did see a temporary 'purge' of gunk from my pores that resulted in a temporary spike in breakouts, which other reviewers have mentioned, but this was thankfully short lived. Now after a nearly a month of use, my skin is more radiant, softer/smoother, breaking out less, and I'm even starting to see a reduction in the size of my huge pores, which no product has ever given me before. I also have a better oil balance in my skin. So for me, the results have taken a little time, but have totally been worth the wait! I have been recommending it to all of my friends. Thanks, Foreo!" —Knonymously

Promising review: "I order several of these at a time so I always have one on reserve. I clean the tip with a damp cloth or the clean corner of a makeup remover wipe after each use to prolong its life. I never want to be without this pen ever again." —grndma
Promising review: "This eyeliner is a MUST HAVE. I have been using the Kat Von D Tattoo liner for a while, but I read on BuzzFeed that this liner was an excellent dupe for that. I highly doubted it but ordered anyways, because it was only EIGHT BUCKS. I am never going to back to Kat Von D. Half the price, but exact same performance level. And this is coming from a girl who lines her eyes every day." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "So I bought this on a whim because I like other Seaweed Bath Co. products and this one comes in a fragrance-free option. Now, I am hooked and here's why: it's the silkiest shower gel I ever used, the ingredient list is super great, the lather is amazing, and harvested seaweed grows back quickly. If you love luxury bath items, I sincerely recommend this as a cheap indulgence. My other favorite shower gel costs five times as much, but if I had to give up one of them, it wouldn't be the seaweed. Love this stuff." —M. Kaiserin

Promising review: "This eyebrow pencil is the best. I have nonexistent Asian brows, and I've tried all the brands. From Etude House to Holika Holika to NYX to Anastasia Beverly Hills to Kat Von D. This is the best one. It has to do with how the formula is a little bit waxy, which seems to help immensely with longevity on my oily skin! It also means it's easier to build up. The little spoolie on the end is cute and functional, and I love that it has an angular, triangular tip, which makes drawing more precise. Perfect pencil! And it's so cheap that I can buy a few to throw in my bag and have at home and whatever. Love it." —Lucy

Promising review: "I absolutely love this! I've been using it I think for almost three years now and do not plan on changing it anytime soon. I used to live in Boston, which meant I needed a super-hydrating product to survive the winter, but I truly cannot stand oily and heavy creams (plus they tend to break me out). It felt super light and refreshing, but still sooo hydrating! I have since moved to Panama, which is the complete opposite in terms of weather, and I still love this product since its lightweight texture is perfect for the extreme humidity we have here." —ngade29

Promising review: "I love mascara, and have since the age of 12. I've tried every kind — from low end to high end, from drugstore to department store. Cabaret Premiere by Vivienne Sabo is the best mascara I've ever used in my entire life. The brush is small and easy to manage and the formula glides on evenly and coats each lash, making my eyes look bigger than ever. This is the product to buy." —gstella4
Get it from Amazon for $11.40.
Promising review: "I've been using this product for years now and it is hands down the best mascara that exists. It stays on all day and never needs to be re-applied. The brush is silicone/plastic/rubber (or something) which I think is what truly sets this apart. The mascara NEVER, and I mean NEVER, gets clumpy. The brush separates my lashes and evenly coats each one to make them look FULL and long. I also use the waterproof one when needed and it never comes off when swimming and works just as well to coat each lash. Not sure I will ever switch to another brand!" —JTHB

Promising review: "I love these! I love the little individual single packets, since they keep the cloths super moisturized. Plus, these are so good for removing my makeup and don't dry my skin out!! But I don't think they work very well on waterproof mascara. Other than that, these are amazing, and a 20-pack lasts me for at least one month." —Shaye Christensen

Promising review: "As a lingering side effect from past Accutane use, I have chronically dry skin. Accordingly, everything in my routine is all about hydrating and moisturizing my skin. I use serums, oils, creams, and masks with this in mind, but during the day in the wintertime I still find that my skin feels occasionally dry and tight. I LOVE keeping this at my desk at work to spritz on my skin throughout the day when I notice that it's feeling parched. It does a good job of instantly making my skin feel soothed without messing up my makeup. I also quite like bringing it on beach vacations to spray on my face and chest when I feel like cooling off, but don't want to jump into the water." —Chicago Book Addict

I stan Yogurt, which is a subtly shimmery light pink, but Milk is a popular choice, since the white really makes your inner corners POP.
Promising review: "I am lazy and hate doing my makeup, especially after a morning workout on a weekday. I wanted something I could throw in my bag and smear around my eyes in a couple of seconds, and to just add a little color without the fussiness. This fits the bill perfectly. It gives my eyes a little definition, but isn't super noticeable. The slight shimmer also makes me look awake on days where I'm dragging. It is not intensely shiny, though, which is important to me — I'm not a disco ball! It just reflects light and looks luminescent, not glittery. Because this is so easy to use, non-irritating, and is the exact color I was looking for, I expect that I will keep ordering it as long as it's available." —Rachel

Promising review (for matte): "I have tried six different brands of setting spray in the past year. And this NYX matte finish setting spray is by far the best I've used. Yesterday I did my makeup at 5 a.m. and then left town for a big family function and did not get home until midnight. Fourteen hours later and my makeup still looked perfect, like I just finished it! So thrilled with this setting spray!" —Kat Little

Promising review: "Most amazing lip ink I have ever used. The colors are just stunning. It stays on ALL DAY and the applicator is crazy wonderful!! I love it so much that I bought three colors. The rose color is for every day and the deep ruby red is special occasions. Just fantastic." —Karen's Stuff

Promising review: "A must-have in my makeup case! I have used plastic lash combs, metal ones, and flat ones, all of which just didn’t get the job done. I always went back to a safety pin, WHICH I DO NOT ADVISE! This comb is metal and arched, which is much easier to use, and the teeth glide through lashes easily. NOTE: If your mascara is dry and clumped, ANY COMB COULD POTENTIALLY PULL OUT LASHES. JUST NO. DO NOT DO IT. I put on mascara, and while it’s still wet, I glide the comb through the base and go up. It’s that simple. I was concerned about cleaning it with alcohol, but I asked customer service and was told it was safe." —ASConner

Promising review: "I have been searching for something as effective as this for a long time now. I have extremely oily skin. I live in the Caribbean and whether I wear foundation or not, very early in the day my face is covered in oil, mostly over my T-zone. I tried this and it is excellent. It picks up the oil quickly, leaving my face naturally matte for hours. I am well-pleased with the light weight of the sheets. The pack fits perfectly in my purse or jeans pockets. I have no dislikes. I will stock up on it. Anyone with oily skin will find this as a must-have." —Melisa

Promising review: "I am totally blown away by this product! I have been consistently using a more expensive powder for about six months, and was dissatisfied with the fact that my skin appeared greasy/oily by the end of the work day. By 5 p.m. I have been wearing my makeup for about 10 hours. I also live in a warm climate and have oily skin. By the end of my work day using this powder, my face is still very matte! I am THRILLED! This way outperforms the other powder and is 13% of the cost. I can't believe it. I'm never going back." —AlexisJulian

Promising review: "I purchased these to keep in my purse zipper compartment for 'emergencies,' aka getting something stuck in between my teeth such as pepper, lettuce, herbs, or whatever. I can go to the powder room and remove whatever it is. I feel better having these in tow. I can refill the case too. The case is easy to open and close and feels like it will stay closed in my purse. These are a great idea! I'm very happy to have this little travel case of Plackers tucked away in my purse!" —Small~Town~Girl

Promising review: "Now that I have to deal with 'adult acne,' it's sent me scurrying in every direction, from drugstore to dermatologist, to try and clear it. Unlike my teenage years, the problems I deal with now are not straightforward zits. My pores get clogged, but they're stubborn buggers and don't like to be extracted. The Mighty Patch has been great because it actually succeeds in bringing all that grossness to the surface. From there, it's easy just to extract and blast off. I'm also guilty of that cardinal sin in zit care — constantly poking at the blemish and this keeps me from myself. I've already gone through one sheet!" —Karen Lee

Promising review: "This is my favorite deodorant. I have both travel and full sizes. I keep the travel-size one in my purse and unlike other deodorants, you don't have to worry about different temperatures affecting it. It lasts forever!!! I just run the stick under water for a second and then shake it (you want it damp) and then roll it under my arms. I have very sensitive skin — I often get a rash under my arms from other deodorants and that has never happened with this one. It really works. I work all day and then go to the gym to do a hard workout and rarely have to reapply. It's incredible that this is salt and it protects from B.O. so well. The cap screws off easily." —Ali

Promising review: "I used to use Nivea Milk and Honey as my go-to moisturizer, but decided to give this Cover Girl moisturizing duo a try. Got Nude Blush and moisturizing gloss, and LOVED it! I have Sjogrens Syndrome (dry mucous membranes) and must keep lips moist, or else dry flakes and mouth corner splits occur. These products provide great moisture to lips and lasts a long time! The color also lasts all day and the moisturizer I reapply after meals or as needed. It keeps my lips so moist and feels light, not greasy or gummy. I will be a user for a long time!" —Eilid Sidhe

Promising review: "This is one of the best lip balms I've ever tried, and I'm a dude! It doesn't leave your lips shiny, sparkly, or wet-looking, and it doesn't have some obnoxious flavor or smell. The Acai flavor is barely noticeable, which is what I like. It's 10x better than that waxy, old ChapStick and not as greasy as Carmex. It's worth the price too. I bought three and have kept two for myself and gave one to someone else." —Will R.

Promising review: "My skin had developed some dry patches and had become somewhat irritated and sensitive after sudden changes in the weather. The cream helped soothe the irritation and calm the itchiness and sensitivity, as well as the dry patches. It has a cream-gel texture, sinks easily into the skin, and doesn't leave an oily film. Promising review (for the above photo): "I developed a dry, patchy area on the side of my mouth, but figured it was just some dry skin due to winter. After a week it spread to my chin and other side of my mouth. I thought it would go away on its own, but then three weeks passed. I tried moisturizers and coconut oil, but nothing worked! I was frustrated and embarrassed by this patchy, scaley skin on my face! As a last ditch effort I tried CeraVe and it worked! It was much better after two days! Promising review (for Natural): "I honestly don't think I'll every stop buying this stuff. It's a staple. I have dry, oily skin. I like really light makeup coverage so I use a combo of tinted moisturizer and sunscreen for my daily coverage. This stuff is perfect for eliminating the shine after, and I still have that 'no-makeup' look after applying this stuff. It doesn't make me look powdery either." —Kimberlyannexo

Promising review: "I'm always skeptical of 'influencer' lines of popular brands, but being a big fan of Joan Kim's I had to try. And I am so happy I did! I have combination skin with hormonal breakouts and rather sensitive/partially dry skin. It's hard for me to find a moisturizer that will hydrate me all day *and* won't break me out. I have finally found my holy grail product. The duo pack is genius. The day cream calms down my morning redness and feels so creamy and hydrating on the skin but is so lightweight at the same time. And the same with the night cream! All in all, I would recommend this to anyone with any skin type, but especially for people like me who have a hard time finding the perfect moisturizer for troublesome skin. 10 out of 10." —Delaney Spicer
