    1. SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick packs a punch of powerful pigment with a non-drying, non-tacky formula that applies precisely and lasts through meal after meal.

I've had a love (mostly hate) relationship with liquid lips. They either always dry out my lips, or the applicator is bulky for me and I end up staining my face (lmao). Even if those two problems aren't an issue, it'll come off after one meal! "Look, food is a priority for me, so if you're going to get in the way of that, we just aren't going to work out! It's not me, it's you!" —me at all the other liquid lips. So if you're like me and have sworn off liquid lips for these reasons, I'm here to say, give this Maybelline one a try!

It's the first liquid lip I actually swear by and it does none of those annoying things! The applicator itself is revolutionary to me; it has a pointed oval shape with a hole in the middle. At first I didn't understand how this was going to help with application but let me tell you, it was a breeze! The hole in the middle holds a bit of product in it and as you swipe across the lips it paints a full-coverage coat in one go. You really don't need a lot either. One thin layer dries down in about a minute. If you really want ZERO stickiness all day, a hack I learned is to take a thin tissue paper and lay it across your lips and then take a brush with setting powder and go right over the tissue with it. Your lips will be set (but not too dry!) ALL DAY. This product doesn't need this extra step but I do it anyway to really set things in place. Throughout the day it remains smooth and pigmented. It doesn't crack or peel either! Plus it comes in the cutest colors for every season! –Jennifer Tonti

Get it from Amazon for $6.64+ (available in 20 colors).

    2. SuperStay Full Coverage Foundation provides all the coverage you could want without everrrrr looking cakey — you might just ditch your high-end foundation for this formula for good.

I first tried this foundation *just* for an "it's summer, and it feels like a waste to use my $34 Fenty foundation when 30 seconds after leaving my apartment I'm covered in sweat" option. I thought I'd just use it on vacation (I live in a constant fear of forgetting my makeup bag somewhere), on days I was like "eh," that sort of thing. That's kind of how I felt about the Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation, which tons and tons and tons of people love — it was good, it worked, but in the end I preferred my usual high-end foundations. But the SuperStay Full Coverage Foundation? This "it'll-be-my-backup-foundation" has quickly become my morning go-to. I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION and I want to shout it from the rooftops. I recently turned my best friend onto it (die-hard MAC foundation wearer), and after buying it, she immediately texted me how impressed she was by the application and coverage.

The first time I applied this to my face I thought, "hot damn!" It has a thicker consistency than many foundations, but somehow just *melts* into your skin, never creasing, caking, or settling into pores. The formula covers redness and any acne/acne scars with just a few taps. It's incredible, full coverage without looking like you're wearing a ton of makeup! And it NEVER CAUSES SHINE! With every other foundation I've used, around 3 p.m. I have a super shiny forehead I need to blot a full two times. Not with this (note: I also recently switched my daytime moiturizer to Burts Bees Daily Face Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin, which is under $10, amazing, and 100% helps with the afternoon shine factor). And the foundation isn't totally matte either — it gives a luminous quality to your face that looks totally natural, like you just have really nice skin. That's a win.

Right now it's available in 16 shades, which is a pretty small range, but the formula is so great, it's definitely worth a try (I wear the shade "fair porcelain" for reference). Maybelline, this formula is A-MAZING, please make it in even more shades, too! —Maitland Quitmeyer

Get it from Amazon for $9.98 (available in 16 shades).

    3. Master Holographic Prismatic Highlighter is perfect for any ~glow-getters~ looking for something a little more extra; all of Maybelline's Master Highlighters are cult-faves in the beauty world, but this purple one might be the most gorgeous of all.

Maybe it’s because my eyesight has rapidly deteriorated because there are very few moments I’m NOT staring at a screen (sorry, peepers), but I need to my highlight to be BLINDING, or at the very least, a noticeable color, hence why my go-to is usually Fenty Beauty Trophy Wife, which is a popping gold. I also vastly prefer powder formulas over cream because I don't want highlighter to shift my underlying foundation around, especially after I use my fingers to blend everything out.

Enter: Maybelline Facestudio Master Holographic Prismatic Highlighter in 100 Purple. Is purple my favorite color? Yes. Had I considered wearing it on my cheekbones before this highlighter? Nope. Thank you, Maybelline, for introducing me to this quite literal ~gem~. Since then, I've tried a few other purple highlighters, and this really has the best value for the price you pay. The color and sparkle payoff is amazing — just one *gentle* swipe of the finger or your brush of choice and you get a ~shine~ that people can't help but notice! And compliment! Which they've done! Love me some makeup validation. It's lightweight, not messy (read: the product goes directly from compact to brush/finger to face with virtually no fallout), and is a lovely finishing touch to your whole face. My cheekbones, center of nose, and cupid's bow has never been happier. —Sarah Han

Get it from Amazon for $7.89 (also available in opal). This same highlighter in ~molten gold~ is also suuuuuper popular!

    4. Instant Age Rewind Concealer has you ~covered~ when it comes to canceling dark circles and filling fine lines (without creasing) WHILE treating your under eyes, thanks to powerful ingredients like goji berry and Haloxyl (which reduces the appearance of puffiness).

There are few beauty products out there that I consistently go back to, which says a lot because I love everything that has to do with makeup. But alas, here I am, consistently finding my way back to Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind Concealer. It’s just *THAT* good! I still don’t know how a $7 tube of concealer (I use the Neutralizer shade) beats out the more expensive ones I have stuffed into my vanity, but it does. It’s not too creamy or thick, yet it still gives solid coverage without the cake-y feeling. It blends incredibly well with every foundation I wear (not at the same time, LOL) — and I have a lot of foundations.

I also really enjoy the sponge applicator. I still go over whatever I apply with a Beauty Blender to get that matte look, but having the sponge makes it easier and means I don’t have to use my fingers to dab under my eyes. When I am done with my entire routine, my eyes look lighter and brighter, but not in a way that’s totally obvious — even when photos are taken and the flash is on. Basically what I am saying here is this is a staple beauty product that, IMHO, deserves a place in every makeup bag! And ya can’t argue with a $7 price tag. —Kayla Suazo

Get it from Amazon for $7.40+ (available in 12 shades).

    5. Dream Fresh BB Cream makes a no-effort makeup look possible with just a dab or two, evening out skin tone while feeling light as air (no matter how hot it feels outside).

If you're anything like me, you love makeup, but want it to be absolutely fuss-free — especially if you enjoy your sleep more than you do beating your face. And in summertime, by the time you finally get where you're going, all of your foundation melted and quite suddenly a Dalí painting appeared on your fab face. This is where Dream Fresh BB Cream comes in handy — it's a lightweight, sheer formula that evens out your skin tone without the cakey-ness of a traditional foundation. Even better, it has a whopping SPF 30, which means you can skip a step in your morning routine! It's an eight-in-one skin corrector, which basically means it acts as a moisturizer, concealer, foundation, and sunscreen without any added oils that may clog your pores as well as preventing you from being your snacky self.

When I applied it on my face with my dependable Beauty Blender, I was actually shocked (and satisfied) at how bright and luminous it made my skin without being oily or shiny. You don't even have to apply it with a brush or sponge, it actually spreads amazingly with your fingers. It's the epitome of do your makeup and go! It's also super buildable, which means if one coat isn't to your fancy, you can add more for the drama of it all. I was actually sweating up a storm while wearing this, but I didn't feel like the Wicked Witch of the West while I was out in the heat since the formula feels like fucking air. I don't know how they did that, but I'm definitely not complaining. Unfortunately, though, it only comes in five shades and that sucks because darker skinned babes can't get in on the action, but I'm hoping they expand their range soon — this stuff is MAGIC. —Ignacia Fulcher

Get it from Amazon for $7.32 (available in five shades).

    6. Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara moves *with* you (hello flexible brush!) for looooong, feathery lashes—WITHOUT clumps—that rival department store–brand mascaras.

    Emma McAnaw

Full disclosure, I'm a huge mascara snob. Ever since I first tried designer mascara in the ninth grade (thanks Sephora gift card!) I've been hooked. But a girl can only spend so much! I don't have any more Sephora gift cards! So when I tried Maybelline's Falsies mascara I was s h o o k by its amazing quality. It trumps even some of the crème de la crème of the industry that I previously SWORE by. First of all, this is the softest brush I've ever felt. Seriously Maybelline what is this made of? Angel feathers?! Plus, its curved handle is cleverly designed to grab each and every lash for an even and natural-looking finish. It even bends to move *with* your lashes and successfully avoid clumping! I have never (not once!) battled with a clump when using this lifesaver. This is truly the first mascara I've tried that works perfectly the first time instead of needing time to get used to the formula.

I have naturally long eyelashes, but I'm a stickler for achieving volume while still being able to pull off a no-makeup-while-wearing-makeup look. It's a tricky balance! This mascara gives me thick, full lashes without feeling too overdone — in fact they make my lashes feel feathery soft! I probably look weird touching my eyelashes all the time but they feel great. AND this never flakes (thank goodness because I have super sensitive eyes) and is super easy to wash off. I may not have the rest of my life together, but at least when it comes to makeup it feels like I have it all! —Emma McAnaw

Get it from Amazon for $5.64 (available in seven colors, waterproof and washable).

    7. Master Precise All Day Ink Eyeliner is designed for cat eye experts and newbies like — with its fine felt tip and super pigmented formula, mastering the perfect wing is now as easy as drawing with a pen!

I haven’t worn eyeliner in years. It wears off too easily and is too hard to put on. But a friend threw this Maybelline liquid liner into my lap, I threw it onto my eyes, and I’m never taking it off (except when I responsibly wash my face before bed each night, mostly to prep my eyelids for this magic in the morning).

This liner has an applicator designed with a thin tip that gets slightly thicker at the base. The style allows me to lightly outline my game plan (the closest I’ll ever get to a sport’s reference in my life), create fine-tipped “wings,” and then glide on a defined line from one end of my eyelid to the other. It dries fast enough that I don’t have a dark crease when I open my eyes to apply mascara and it stays on all day. I was hanging out in the seventh level of hell this morning (the F train in New York during the morning commute in the middle of summer) and it was so hot my lip sweat game was strong. But so was my eyeliner, unaffected by the blistering heat or the tears falling down my eyes. Because of its simplicity, results, and longevity, I’d confidently recommend this liner to anyone — as long as you’re up for getting your own (I’m not sharing). —Mallory Mower

Get it from Amazon for $5.60 (available in three colors).

    8. Lip Studio Lip Gloss Palette is chock-full of shiny (but never sticky) colors perfect for trying out new looks or figuring out what lipstick colors are your fave.

There's almost nothing I love than a nice lip color. But while I usually stick to matte shades in the red and burgundy families, finding a good MLBB (my lip but better) shade has always been a challenge. It feels like you buy a lipstick, take it home and it's all of a sudden TOTALLY WRONG — too blue-pink or too brown. And I don't think I'm alone here feeling like a nude lipstick Goldilocks — sometimes finding the right shade of red, pink, or plum isn't much easier.

So when I tried this gloss palette, I knew it would solve a lot of problems for anyone looking for the right lippie. This bb has eight shades, ranging from a peachy nude to a plum (spoiler alert, they're all pretty!). I've worn the red gloss (pictured in the gif on the bottom right) for a little change of pace from my usual matte lipstick (I wear Tom Ford's Ruby Rush almost on the daily). The second shade from the left? I now know it's my perfect nude, which I've been wearing with bolder colored liner or glitter lid looks — I'm trying to get out of a bit of a makeup rut (pictured on the left). And the best part? They're super creamy and easy to apply, especially with the included brush, which helps you line the lips precisely. And they wear well too, fading to a pretty stain once the top gloss wears away after eating or drinking. Next, I'm going to bring this palette with me when looking for a tube version of my perfect nude shade! And when you've get to find the right shade, that convenience is totally with the six bucks spent on the palette! —Maitland Quitmeyer

Get it from Amazon for $5.99.

P.S. They eyeshadow I'm wearing on the left is a *brand new* jelly shadow from ColourPop — stay tuned for a full review, but it is LEGIT!!! I'm wearing the light gold shade "We Jammin'" here.
