"I kind of have this issue where my roots will get greasy, but my ends look like straw. I bought this to get my hair looking healthy from root to tip. You're supposed to use this on damp, towel dried hair BEFORE shampooing and it somehow magically seals all your split ends. TBH, I don't really understand how it works, just that it freakin' does. I've only used it a few times (a little goes a long way), and my hair already looks more healthy." —May Ning

"I keep buying this stuff over and over again because it's literally transformative. I'm currently going through an Invisalign treatment, which has had the side effect of making my mouth super dry. This stuff has been my saving grace — I will not go to bed (or wake up in the morning) without putting some on my lips. It's thick, so a little goes a loooong way. I also use a hint of it on my eyelids sometimes, to give my eyelashes a little conditioning, too." —Brittany Barber

I'm an amateur plant mom, and I have to say dealing with insects is my least favourite part. Thankfully, I've only had to deal with fruit flies and these sticky stakes have caught most of them within a couple days of using them. They're super easy to set up and you can attach multiple stakes together to make them extra tall, if you have a larger plant. I will definitely be restocking these, because they're actual life savers.

"Along with everyone else who watches TikTok, I got very into CeraVe products this year — and I loved this night cream as soon as I started using it. It's plumping, softening, and hydrating — without any greasiness or overpowering fragrances. But it wasn't until I had an allergic reaction to a *different* cream that I truly understood how great this (budget-friendly!) one is — it brought my skin back to normal in just a week." —Maitland Quitmeyer

"I saw someone on TikTok rave about these, and I was like, 'How good can they really be?' Y'all, they're THAT good. I'm an office supply junkie, and I love a smooth pen, and these pens are silky, silky smooth. (Please forgive my terrible handwriting in the GIF above.) I'm so glad I bought a whole box of them, because these are the only pens I'm using from now on." —Kat Angus

"I actually received these a few months ago and am still raving about 'em today. I feel naked without earrings and am always wearing small gold hoops (also from Mejuri, also highly recommend). But when I want to switch it up? I absolutely love these pearl hoops. They feel dressy without being over-the-top, are super lightweight and don't pull down my lobes, plus have a classic design that are still slightly more unique than the plain gold hoops I typically wear." —AnaMaria Glavan

"I'm a little hesitant to put a scrub in my hair so I'll get back to you on that, but as a body scrub this St Bart's-inspired product is a 10/10. The texture is nice (not too rough) and lathered up really well while still doing a great job at exfoliating the dry skin off of my legs. It's also made with coconut oil that left my skin feeling extra smooth and nourished. Essentially, it's turned my post-workout shower into a spa-like retreat and I couldn't be happier." —Heather Braga

Reviewers say it sounds like a quiet fan and helps tune out the sound of noisy roommates, neighbours, and traffic.
"This machine is really compact (it can fit easily on your nightstand), and has two sound options: white noise or fan with ten variations. The volume can go up super high, it has a 60-minute auto shut-off feature, and it's really easy to use. Just plug it on, hit the on button, and BAM! Done. If you've had trouble falling asleep, I seriously cannot recommend this little gadget enough. I don't think I'd be able to survive without it..." —AnaMaria Glavan

"This mascara feels like it actually conditions my lashes when I have it on, and never feels crispy or clunky (like some do). Like, have you ever put on mascara and thought, frig, is this why my eyelashes are stunted? Yeah, that does NOT happen with this one. It also comes off super easily at night, which is great when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to deal with a full-on scrub down." —Brittany Barber

The bristles on this broom are stiff as heck. Instead of pulling out the vacuum, I can give the rugs and carpeted floors in my house a quick sweep and this broom actually does the job. The idea of having to crouch down to sweep dirt into a dustpan is very unappealing for me, so I really love that the dustpan has a handle. The rubber teeth are another great feature, because I hate picking those stray pieces of fluff and hair from the bottom of my broom. And storing this set is a breeze and it doesn't take up anymore space than a traditional broom and dustpan.

"I run in Central Park four days a week and I am constantly seeing other runners in this mask. I have two of them in my own run rotation, and I'm impressed not only by how well they stay in place and don't get over-sweaty and gross on long runs, but by how well they wash up and maintain their shape. The straps are super soft on your ears, too. I've gotten to used to straps chafing on longer runs that I was surprised by what a difference this made. I gifted one of these to my dad for Christmas, too, and it's his go-to for walks and errand running. It's just an overall easier mask to breathe in (while still maintaining a tight fit and keeping the people around you safe!)." —Emma Lord

"I'm convinced that everyone has dropped their phone and shattered screen at least once. If it's happened to you, you are probably on a mission to never let it happen again (same). That's why I got these. I never used to be into screen protectors because I feel like they always get bubbles under them and that annoys me to no end. These go on flat and don't even look like they're there. Basically, they do their job and they do it well." —Alice Prendergast

"Okay, yes, this has been a long time favorite product at BuzzFeed. But in quarantine, my S.O. and I have moved in together, which means we’ve also started sharing a bathroom on a much more regular basis than before. After a couple of months, it became clear that we needed something that would actually work to cover up poop odor, and STAT. So I turned to this spray-before-you-go essential oil concoction. And yes! It does exactly what is says it does. Thank goodness." —Natalie Brown

"Before I got this thing, I relied on a stack of books to elevate my laptop. It wasn’t pretty. I finally bit the bullet and made the upgrade, and let me tell you, I wish I had done it sooner. With this baby (and a separate mouse and keyboard), my sweet neck has never been happier. I normally use it with my MacBook Air, but I tried it with a clunky old MacBook Pro and it held it up perfectly, too. It comes with a hex key you can use to adjust the angle of the stand, with pads that’ll protect the edges of your laptop from scratches. Your aching back will thank you." —Brittany Barber

"I used to get my nails done all the time (I'm talking like every other week). But with nail salons closed, I decided to start doing my own manicures at home with the help of this UV nail lamp. I'm not a fan of regular polish (mainly because I'm just too impatient to let it dry), and I definitely don't have the skills to even attempt acrylic nails. So I thought gel polish would be a happy medium. I chose this one because it doesn't have a base, meaning I can just pop it over my feet when I'm painting my toenails." —May Ning

"It's so delish, and it makes mornings far more bearable. It’s great for keeping in the office when that 3 p.m. slump hits, but you don’t feel like going to a coffee shop (or spending $5 on cold brew). It's pretty concentrated, so you can either dilute it with water or milk, or just drink it straight with ice (I've done all three). Coarse or French Press-ground beans are suggested but TBH, I just use regular beans, and I don't have issues with grounds making their way into my coffee!" —Maitland Quitmeyer

This oven cleaner is magic in a can. It says you only have to leave it for a couple hours to get the best results, but I kind of forgot about it and didn’t remember until the next morning. But, boy did it work! All the grease and grime came off with a damp cloth and a flick of the wrist. It took me about five minutes to wipe down the entire oven, and as you can see, the results are impressive.

"If you're going to invest in a pair of everyday on-ear headphones, in my humble opinion, these are The Ones. The 80 hours of playtime per charge is no lie. I turn these on at least once a day for a few hours and sometimes go a full month without having to charge them. As someone who is constantly forgetting to charge all of my electronics, but is tired of corded headphones, that is an enormous plus. They're not actively noise cancelling, but the padding on the ears definitely helps keep out external noise and ups the sound quality — I really prefer these kind of headphones, however, since noise cancelling ones can make things a little too quiet for me."

I started propagating my plants a few months ago and was using random glass jars and cups until I found this glass vial. I feel like a scientist every time I check up on my little plant babies and it's easy to just remove the vial when I have to change out the water. I also like that it's narrow enough that I can place one or two cuttings at a time and still give them plenty of room for the roots. It's easily the coolest and most decorative vessel in my collection and I'm tempted to buy a couple more.

"I LOVE that I don't have to sacrifice plug space in overcrowded areas (like our kitchen or bathroom), so it can give every nook and cranny of our home a much-needed refresh — and I don't have to play Tetris with all the rest of our appliances. The soft light is also great if you (like me) are often up for a midnight tinkle." —Victoria Kuglin

I have very thick hair to begin with, but I normally wear it in long braids that hold onto water like no one's business. I don't use heat styling tools, so after washing my hair, it can take a whole day for them to air dry — and sometimes I'll even wake up with damp hair. These scrunchies are absolute game changers. I just snatch my hair into a ponytail, bun, or a pair of space buns (if I'm feeling cute), and wait for the magic to happen. After a couple hours, my hair is basically dry. And as you can see from the GIF, the scrunchie absorbed most of the moisture.

"I can't understate how wonderful it is to wake up ~peacefully~ every morning...and fall asleep more easily every night. The biggest doubt I had about this clock is whether it could actually, well, wake me up. It starts getting brighter, slowly, before the alarm goes off, which my body reads as the beginnings of the sunrise. By the time the birds start singing, I'm already most of the way awake, and the light's bright enough that (after a few minutes scrolling through my phone) I just...get out of bed." —Natalie Brown

I'm a huge fan of lipstick, but lately I've been skipping a bold lip in favour of a hydrating lip balm or gloss. This lip balm has been my go-to because it not only moisturizes my lips, but leaves a slightly glossy finish and subtle stain on my lips. Don't get me wrong, I have to reapply throughout the day, just like a regular lip balm. I just love how easy it is to create the perfect shade of pink for my lips — just swipe and go. It looks natural and makes me feel less like a corpse on the days I don't want to wear a full face of makeup.
