"There isn't a lot of light in my room, so it's made a world of a difference. I use it in the mornings when it's still dark out to apply my makeup. And now that I'm working from home, I set it up behind my laptop, so I look less like a dungeon troll during my Zoom calls. I love how adjustable it is. I can extend the legs to place it on my desk, counter, or floor, and it has a phone mount and remote if I want to take selfies or full-body pictures, which look a hundred times better now. I can even change the brightness level and colour of the light. I don't know why I waited so long to buy this, because I've used it every day since I bought it." —Kaysey Davis

"When it comes to makeup, I'm not a fan of subtlety. If I'm going through the effort of putting my face on, I expect people to see me shining from at least two blocks away, which is why I'm absolutely in love this highlighter. It is so incredibly pigmented and blends like an absolute dream. One swipe will give you a pretty glow, but you can really pack it on if your goal is to be able to be seen from the Mars Rover. When I wear it I regularly have people asking me what product I'm wearing, which doesn't happen with any other product I own. I find the gold colour is more flattering on my brown skin than the more pearly-silver highlighters, but knowing that this is from Rihanna, it's bound to look damn good on everyone!" —Sarah Rohoman

"I am in the process of adopting the border collie I have been fostering for the last few weeks. She is adorable, but the accessories that came with her from the foster organization were... not. So, I decided it was time for this little baby to get an upgrade! I'm working with a trainer and she said Martingale collars were awesome for pull-y dogs, and sent me a link to this one. I've found that it helps a lot, and love that it's not as intense as the ones with chains. It doesn't hurt her, but it shows her who's boss and keeps her from trying to attack every single squirrel that crosses our path. Naturally, I needed to get a matching leash, because fashion, so she now has an olive set that goes with my coat." —Alice Prendergast

"I never thought I would be so excited about poop bags in my life, but here we are. I used to buy them at the pet store, but realized they were pretty pricey and you would only get around 200 bags. So after my last little box ran out, I decided to stock up and get this jumbo box online. It comes with over 1,000 poop bags and they're made of recycled materials. I'll admit that I was a little skeptical about the quality, just because they were so much cheaper than the other brand I was buying before, but I wasn't disappointed. The bags are thick and I've never had one rip on me (literally my worst nightmare!). I also really like how these are unscented. I'll never buy one of those tiny boxes again!" —Sarah Aspler

"I loathe cleaning my bathroom, so I'm always on the hunt for products that'll make it easier and less time-consuming. There's honestly nothing I don't love about these scrubbers — they're even infused with Febreze, so they leave my bathroom smelling fresh as a daisy (and not like bleach). It tackled everything from soap scum to mildew, and even got my fixtures gleaming like new." —Victoria Kuglin

"My partner hates the fact that I hog every throw blanket in the house, so he insisted I hunt down one that was large enough for the two of us. I found this ultra-fluffy Bedsure one after a bit of scrolling on Amazon Canada, and wowee, do I ever love it. I got the largest size, so it comfortably covers both of us and our dog. It's, like, unbelievably soft, warm, but somehow lightweight, too. I comes with me from our couch to our bed every night, so needless to say I will be purchasing another. In what colour? Who knows. There are 21 shades available and I'm seriously having a tough time deciding." —Alice Prendergast

"Some of my cooking pans are a little old and the non-stick coating is long gone. These scrapers make it infinitely easier to get food off, so I don't have to soak them in soapy water after every meal. I've used them on my dishes and clay baking pans, too, and they've never left a scratch." —Kaysey Davis

"It's sort of embarrassing how much I love this Brita water dispenser. I had a regular-sized one before and would need to fill it up multiple times a day. I finally decided to splurge when I saw this sale during the recent Prime Day and I have zero regrets. First things first, it's enormous and can fit 18 cups of water. I especially like that I don't need to take it out of the fridge to use it and the spigot makes it really easy to fill up any glass or water bottle. It came with a filter and fits perfectly on the top shelf of my fridge. I also found that the water reservoir is easy to clean and I've had no issues with the spigot leaking. If you are constantly refilling your tiny Brita all day this is for you!" —Sarah Aspler

"Until recently, I was not a gloss gal. In fact, I was not a lip product gal at all (besides balm). But let me tell you, things have changed! I am obsessed with these lip jellies. They keep my cracked, chapped lips soothed and the colours are great. I am not lying when I say I am going to purchase every single one because they are so dang pretty." —Alice Prendergast

"My hands have been really dry lately, so I decided to treat myself to a hand mask. The gloves feel a little cold at first, but the sticker tabs at the wrists help seal the ends. And once they’re sealed, the heat from your hands make the mask super warm and help the serum sink deeper into your skin. I left them on for about 15 minutes and my hands were so soft afterwards." —Kaysey Davis

"I normally have pretty good skin, but every once in a while I get a zit that's a real doozy. All I need is 10 minutes with this mask for my pimples to look way less visible! I love the gentle exfoliating action because it speeds up my skin's healing process, so I end up with less discolouration on my face and a smoother complexion." —Victoria Kuglin

"OK, fine. I'll admit it: This little raccoon coffee cup brings me so much joy! I didn't expect it to, but it does. It's a perfect size for my morning coffee and I've been getting a lot of compliments on it during Zoom meetings. It's ceramic and feels really sturdy. It's a sort of unique shape, but it's still really easy to clean. I especially love the hidden fish skeleton in the bottom inside of the mug! The holidays are coming up and I'm thinking of getting a bunch of them as stocking stuffers!" —Sarah Aspler

"I don't know if you've heard, but 2020 has been a roller coaster ride, and the winter months are likely going to be similar. I know I feel down in the winter months, so I thought getting this light therapy lamp might help. It's got a countdown timer, four brightness levels, and three different colour temperatures. I usually turn it on while I'm drinking coffee in the morning (to start forming a habit) and sometimes I'll turn it on while I'm sitting in front of my laptop working. I have noticed a slight uptick in my mood when I'm using this! Any sun is better than no sun, right? It's still too early in the season to see if it's made a huge difference, but overall I'm pretty happy with the purchase." —Kyle Richmond
