"Now that hand sanitizer is something I never leave the house without, I wanted to stock up on a few travel-sized bottles. I really liked this one because it solved some of the issues I had with using other hand sanitizers. First, it's a fine mist, so it doesn't make my hands super wet before drying down. It also has a light lavender scent, which is downright heavenly compared to the strong chemical smells from other hand sanitizers. My hands don't feel Sahara Desert dry after using it and it comes in this really sleek bottle that's small enough to fit in my pocket. It's a perfect ten out of ten." —Kaysey Davis

"I'm always skeptical of so-called 'volumizing' products, mostly because they rarely deliver on their promises. Having a LOT of smooth, straight hair requires some pretty legit power to achieve lift, usually requiring mousse or hairspray that leave my mane feeling gritty and crunchy. But this lightweight spritz is an exception — it can be used on wet or dry hair and gives it just the right amount of ~oomph~, while maintaining texture and movement. It's basically the only product that's kept my grown-out pixie cut from looking like a straight-up mop." —Victoria Kuglin

"This mascara feels like it actually conditions my lashes when I have it on, and never feels crispy or clunky (like some do). Like, have you ever put on mascara and thought, frig, is this why my eyelashes are stunted? Yeah, that does NOT happen with this one, whatsoever. The fact that it's made with beeswax and shea butter makes me feel like I'm giving my lashes a little TLC, even though I'm wearing makeup. It also comes off super easily at night, which is great when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to deal with a full-on scrub down. And the results? The length it gives is no joke! I'm obsessed." —Brittany Barber

"I am a big candle fan, but the ones I love are super expensive, so nowadays I like to get my aromatherapy on in other ways. I've had a few diffusers in the past, but this one from Vitruvi is my absolute favourite. Yes, she costs a pretty penny, but she is worth every dang cent. It's pretty small, meaning up it doesn't take up too much real estate, but packs a huge punch when it comes to scent. I would recommend pairing it with some Vitruvi essential oils — they're super potent and you'll feel like a chemist coming up with your own scents (I'm really into lavender, grapefruit, and cedarwood ATM)."

"I’m a wine drinker and enjoyer! But once in a while, I’ll randomly get a headache while sipping on some wine (not enjoyable). I’d heard about Drop It Wine from a couple of friends so I decided to give it a try. It’s like a magical potion (made of natural ingredients) that reduces sulphites and tannins in wine. You add a couple drops of it to each glass and boom! It takes the bad stuff out of the wine that causes headaches and flushness. The best part about it is that it doesn’t alter the taste or smell of the wine. Drop it in, swirl it around, and enjoy your wine!" —Liza Hicks

"I've been seeing these monogram cakes all over the internet lately, and I decided it was time for me to try it out when my mother-in-law's birthday rolled around. When I first opened the package, I was really surprised at how sturdy the main pan was (you could use it alone to bake a regular cake). It comes with eight inserts that'll help you create your monogram, and one angled piece to help you cut out the corners if you want your cake to be less angular. It also came with instructions on how to jig the inserts around to create any letter or number, so I wasn't stuck guessing how to arrange them.
I found a basic vanilla cake recipe online and when I poured the batter in, I was impressed that thanks for the little ridges that keep inserts in place, none of the batter leaked. The resulting cake was thick enough that I was able to slice it in half horizontally and add a layer of icing in between. You could also try using it with cookie dough or to make a cheesecake — the possibilities are endless. I'm no Cake Boss, but I'm pretty happy with how my cake turned out, thanks to this nifty little set." —May Ning

"I know I reached adulthood when this lil' kit got me SO👏🏻FREAKIN'👏🏻EXCITED👏🏻. The slim shape is absolutely genius, tucking easily between bottles of cleaning sprays and miscellaneous under-the-sink items and saving me tons of storage space. Thanks to the silicone rimming, I can easily sweep every last fleck of debris into the dust pan, and the palm-sized broom is compact enough to fit where normal ones just can't go (like between appliances or under the sofa). Consider me swept away by this mini gizmo!" —Victoria Kuglin

"I get really dry lips in the winter and this stuff is a true lifesaver. It's pretty thick, but it gets the job done. I also love using it on my cuticles when they start fraying. Reviewers say they use it on their hair and insect bites, which I have yet to try, but I love knowing this can be used for a bajillion things." —Alice Prendergast

"This diffuser attachment has forever changed the way I style my hair. Naturally, my hair is kind of wavy — but with this baby (and a dollop of Bumble and Bumble’s curl defining cream), my limp waves turn into bouncy locks I never even knew I was capable of (without a curling wand). I’ve tried other diffusers before, but what sold me on this one is how big it is. It lets me dry my hair in just two sections — which saves me time and effort, and prevents my curls from looking stringy and separated. I realized only after I bought it that I forgot to measure the diameter of my blowdryer. Luckily, this thing is adjustable — you just twist the top of it to make the attachment point bigger or smaller." —Brittany Barber

"Who knew you could order fine, delicious chocolate from Amazon? I didn't, but now I do! Lindt chocolate is one of my favourite chocolates in the whole wide world, and now I can have it delivered straight to my door. I will eat anything from Lindt, but my personal favourite is either the classic Lindor Milk Truffles or their Swiss Luxury Collection. The milk truffles literally melt in your mouth. And the variety of chocolates from the Swiss Luxury Collection is like the gift that keeps on giving. My fiancé knows that if I'm in a bad mood, he just needs to surprise me with some Lindt chocolates, and all will be well in the world again. I should probably let him know that he should order them in advance and have them ready for me when I need them!" —Liza Hicks

"I live with two small children and, as a result, I'm constantly cleaning up after them. These magic erasers are a true blessing. Instead of scrubbing away stains with a bucket and cloth like Cinderella, I can quickly and effectively remove whatever mysterious marks and stains I find on tables, walls, and other surfaces in seconds. Like this beautiful crayon mural, for instance. It took less than a minute to clean up, and all it took was a little water and elbow grease." —Kaysey Davis

"This is one of those Holy Grail products I just can't seem to go without. It's truly a miracle solution for annoying little problems, like peeling cuticles or crusty elbows, and it smells pretty dang great, too. I use it at least twice a day and a single tube can last me for months, so the splurge is 100% worth it. I love that it absorbs quickly, too, so I can moisturize and get on with my life." —Victoria Kuglin

"If there's one thing I love in this world, it's Bobby, my border collie baby (pictured above). I foster failed with her last year and she has made my life a million times better. Now, because I love her so much, I want to keep her looking her best on all occasions, including just lying on the couch. The tags she got from the vet and city were not up to snuff, in my opinion, so I found this adorbs one on Etsy. I really love that you can choose the font, colour, and doodle, making it completely unique to your chien (I got a chili pepper because Bobby is a spicy girl). I also got her microchip number and my phone number engraved on the back, so I don't need to layer it up with any other tags. Now she is the most fashionable gal at the dog park." —Alice Prendergast

"Before I got this thing, I relied on a stack of books to elevate my laptop. It wasn’t pretty. I finally bit the bullet and made the upgrade, and let me tell you, I wish I had done it sooner. With this baby (and a separate mouse and keyboard), my sweet neck has never been happier. I normally use it with my MacBook Air, but I tried it with a clunky old MacBook Pro and it held it up perfectly, too. It comes with a hex key you can use to adjust the angle of the stand, with pads that’ll protect the edges of your laptop from scratches. Your aching back will thank you." —Brittany Barber

"Since I have freckles, it’s really hard for me to find products that perfectly match my skin with just the right amount of coverage. It’s extra hard finding a concealer that matches my skin tone year round, my tanned summer skin vs. my paler winter skin. That's why I really like this Lise Watier concealer palette - you get to mix and match the palette to find the right shade of concealer, no matter the time of year. The formula is super creamy, easy to apply, and blends in perfectly. Plus, with a little research, I learned all about colour correcting for different skin tones and types. I get to choose the amount of coverage when applying this product, whether its minimal coverage or full-face coverage. I’m excited to keep using this and step up my makeup game." —Liza Hicks

"If you, like me, are a serial skincare lover, then you know the skincare section on Sephora all too well. I have really sensitive skin, so I'd been dying to try out products from The Ordinary, which are known for their simple and clean ingredients. You get four whole products for just $29 (which wouldn't even get you a sample size of some higher end products).
The squalene cleanser is great for removing makeup, since it's lipid based, and it cleans your skin without stripping it of moisture. The niacinamide literally cleared my pores overnight, since it works by regulating your sebum levels. I use the salicylic acid once every other week, or whenever my skin is feeling dull, to draw out any impurities. And lastly, my favourite product of the bunch is the moisturizer that's packed with hyaluronic acid, amino acids, ceramides and other nourishing goodies. It's non-greasy but keeps my skin hydrated all day long. This little bundle of products have become a staple in my routine, keeping my skin clear and glowy." —May Ning

"I've had my Nintendo Switch Lite for a few months now, and I have to say that after playing Animal Crossing for a few hours, my thumbs would get so sore. It was a small inconvenience, but I found these thumb grips and decided to give them a try. They're super easy to put on. They're made of a soft, stretchy silicone material, so they literally just snap over the joysticks. The little paw prints are not only too cute for words, but they add a little texture to keep my thumbs from sliding around. Now I can play on my Switch for as long as I want and my thumbs won't have to pay the price afterward." —Kaysey Davis

"I'm only a budding purse enthusiast, but I could already tell that I was going to struggle to store my bags properly in my two-bedroom apartment in Toronto. But this organizer is the perfect fix! It can hold up to eight bags at once, and the clear plastic means I can always see which purse is where (and it'll protect the fabric from dirt and dust). I haven't filled every pocket yet, but I'll get there (I say as my credit card weeps). As a bonus, the pockets can also be used to store towels, linens, baby supplies, and whatever else you're struggling to organize." —Kat Angus
