#10- I was floor manager in a top 40 meat market. Sections were rotated daily One staff told me her boyfriend didn’t want her working the poolroom. I explained that her boyfriend was not my boss, and didn’t dictate policy. She didn’t last long.

A regular carry out customer at our diner would point at the inside of his wrist and tell me to match that skin. Took a couple tries but I learned how many creams to add so I got it perfect every time. He was a happy customer!

An acquaintance was on one if the singing shows. Made it to the top three but didn’t win. Afterwards he said publicly he’d hoped not to and was vilified for that. But giving up such a large portion of his wages for 10 years was not something he wanted. He’s doing just fine.
