"I have this moisturizer and as someone with oily skin, I approve!! Once you squeeze it out of the tube, it looks just like a creamy gel. But once you apply it to your skin, it feels cooling and dries to a soft matte finish (totally wasn't expecting that). Because of that, it doesn't make my face feel excessively oily throughout the day (and I literally wear this all day). I'm also prone to large, painful cystic breakouts and this hasn't aggravated my acne at all. My mom has dry skin — the total opposite of mine — and when she tried some, it hydrated her face enough to the point where she didn't feel like she needed to reapply during the day. This moisturizer seems to strike the perfect balance for the needs of both dry and oily skin!" —Jasmin Suknanan

"The ULTIMATE laptop desk tray — I own it and I can promise that any student who works from bed (listen, sometimes it's like that) will enjoy every single feature. I don't know where my back and neck would be without it. This baby has three adjustable heights as shown in the photos. On top, it has a spot for your laptop and a mouse pad. Both sections lift up and reveal a storage spot inside the tray for pens, pencils, notepads, etc... The tray also has five USB ports, an LED light, and a laptop fan. Of course, all that runs on three AAA batteries. Simply put, this laptop desk tray has all the bells and whistles for a student to work comfortably and have what they need in less than arm's reach." —Marquaysa Battle

"These sneakers from Avre are my current favorite pair of shoes. I've had them for a couple months now, and I wear them almost every day. Since they're made of knit fabric, they stretch right onto your foot and are super comfortable. Plus, the chunky heel adds a bit of extra style. I mostly wear them with leggings and joggers (because that’s what I live in), but I have worn them with jeans too. They do run big, so I would size down a half size. I also love that they’re made from recycled water bottles, as I’ve been trying to be a little more conscious with my purchases." —Abby Kass

"Hello, that is my face above, because I bought into the hype of over 35,000 positive reviews and now I will never look back!! Putting it on is like giving my eyelashes butterfly wings. It doesn't get clumpy, it stays put ALL the live long day (I spent all of this ridiculously hot pandemic summer wearing it, so I can speak to that), and you can apply it on very lightly if you don't want it to look so dramatic, or continue applying for longer lashes each time." —Emma Lord

"First of all, Amazon Fresh has *aisles* to scroll through just like you would in the grocery store — except you can do it while laying in bed with your sleep shirt on, no socks, and no hustle to find a close park or physical cart in need of sanitizing. Clutch! Instead of completing my order with a handful of get-me-by items, I ended up buying enough groceries for a full two weeks. And I got free delivery within a two-hour window since my order was $35+! Everything was delivered in these super eco-friendly paper bags. Delivery was 100% contactless. The Amazon Fresh delivery person placed my bags neatly at my door, rang my bell, and then walked down the hall wayyy beyond 6 feet away to wait and make sure I had heard the bell. When I opened my door, they waved and thanked me for my business, and headed out. The experience was super seamless and pleasant." —Marquaysa Battle

"When I first caught wind of the Bartesian premium cocktail machine ($349.99 on Amazon), my first thought was does anyone actually need this gadget? But after trying it for myself, I can say the answer is a firm YES, and here's why. I love making cocktails at home, and while I'm no bartender, I feel very comfortable shaking a spicy margarita, stirring a negroni, or whipping up a Pisco sour. But making craft cocktails at home requires many (often expensive) ingredients, bar tools, time and effort. With the Bartesian though, you can make fancy drinks with the click of a button — literally. Once you turn the Bartesian on, it prompts you to insert a cocktail capsule. The smart gadget recognizes the cocktail you're trying to make and will ensure you've placed the proper spirit in the bottle (I know, it's mind-blowing). Next, it prompts you to choose your cocktail strength (there's even a mocktail option), and to place a glass with ice underneath the spout. Next, the Bartesian will start pouring your craft cocktail. The whole process takes about 20 seconds and it's all very exciting. With many bars closed and people quarantining or feeling hesitant about going out to eat, this gadget allows you to make professional-quality cocktails at home." —Hannah Loewentheil

"I shed. A lot. And it gets lodged very deeply into my carpets — like, so deep the vacuum can't reach it. So deep that it traps *other* gross loose particles on the carpet and lodges them, too. Enter the FURemover Evriholder broom. Now *technically*, this hair-retrieving broom is for pet hair, and a ton of pet owners swear by it. That said, a lot of other hairy individuals such as me are swearing by it too. Weird and unexpected bonus? It even has a built-in squeegee edge if you really wanna get your money's worth and use it to clean spills on tile, concrete, and hardwood, or to wipe snow off your car. Anyway, if you're a human who sheds a lot, mayhaps this hair-retrieving broom in all its $12.98 glory will also shock, delight, and disgust you as it did me, so we can all go back to living our long-haired lives without making our vacuums cry." —Emma Lord

"This spray has SPF 41 and features only 16 clean ingredients! To use it properly, close your eyes and mouth, pull back hair, hold the bottle about 10 inches from your face, and spray evenly over your face and neck (mist about seven times). Keep your eyes closed for three seconds while the mist settles. You don't need to rub it in! Plus, if you text Habit, they give you daily reminders to use SPF!
I've been using this every day and I love it! It's so convenient to just spray it on over your makeup or once you're ready instead of adding another layer of lotion to your face. It's non-greasy so it doesn't get you oily; it only gives your skin a pretty, dewy look. Plus, touchups are super easy since all I have to do is spray again and there's no worry of disturbing makeup. It's small enough that you can just throw it in your bag. And when I say it smells like a dream, I'm not kidding! Why didn't this exist before?" —Nusrat Sultana

"I went from very dark brown/almost black Asian hair to platinum blonde, a color I've maintained for almost four years. I truly believe the only reason I still have hair on my head is because 1. my colorist is amazing and 2. Olaplex. Despite having pretty strong hair, I remember globs of it breaking off in the shower right after I bleached my mane. In a panic, I bought a bottle of Olaplex and my hair has been thanking me ever since. I hate how expensive a single small bottle is, but I truly can't be without this. It's reduced breakage and brittleness, minimized frizziness, and just generally helped my hair look healthy." —Melanie Aman

"My husband suffered through what was honestly the scariest sickness of his life — COVID-19 — back in March and is still dealing with some of the side effects, mainly trouble with his breathing. He's OK now (for the most part). During his bout with COVID, not only could I not be at home with him to help but he was coping with what he described as his lungs giving up on him. His breathing was labored and painful, and it prevented him from being able to sleep at night. He still struggles and has this constant, short but deep, cough.
When the smoke and ash from the fires surrounding us started to really affect our air supply my husband felt it the worst. The weakness in his lungs was already there but the smoke triggered his labored breathing.
So when it came time to look for something to help us deal with both of those things, I wasn't here to play. I went with a brand I know, love, and that multiple people had recommended to us — Dyson. Specifically, the Dyson Pure Humidify + Cool. I don't want to be dramatic but I really think this thing is a cherry-flavored lifesaver and even my husband, who wouldn't spend a penny on anything if he could, said, "Wow. I really feel the difference." —Elena Garcia

"Boy, do we love us some Magnatiles around our home! The more thematic sets like these from Sesame Street (there's also an Elmo and a Big Bird) are a great introduction to the line for children under the age of 3. This Cookie Monster set in particular has some larger pieces, which makes it even easier for little hands to handle and build. 'M' is for Magnatile and they are indeed good enough for me (us)." —John Mihaly

"I purchased this chore coat a few weeks ago and I can't say enough about it. I wanted something soft and cozy to wear while working from home in the tundra that is northern Michigan, but also wanted to feel a tad more sophisticated than the shorts and T-shirts I'd been sporting all summer. Now, I slip this on every morning over my pajamas and consider it my way of 'getting dressed' for work. Sometimes wool can irritate my neck and wrists, but this boiled merino is so incredibly soft and hasn't given me any skin irritation at all. The best way I can describe this chore coat is that it combines all the best things about your favorite warm sweater, the ease and simplicity of a cardigan, combined with the versatility of a neutral jacket. It's quickly become the centerpiece of my fall uniform." —Griffin Gonzales

"This brand combines two of my favorite things: dogs and coffee!! A portion of the sales gets donated to rescue initiatives for doggos who need a home (love it!! 🐶). "Apparently, drinking a dragonfruit Vitamin Water in middle school was a pivotal moment for me because I haven't stopped thinking about the allusive spiny fruit since. While purchasing a whole fresh dragonfruit in the states continues to be an activity exclusively for the mega-rich (up there with big boats and horse sports), us commoners can settle for things simply made with it. A pint of Daily Harvest's dairy-free berry ice cream comes with organic dragonfruit, coconut, strawberry, and raspberry, and costs $8.99 — roughly the same cost as a plain ole' dragonfruit. (PS. if you're getting into Daily Harvest's ice cream, check out the Midnight Fudge flavor too, because it's unreasonably good.)" —Bek O'Connell

These Pricklee Superfruit Waters are made from prickly pears, come in three unique flavors, are low in calories and sugar but high in hydration. And they taste great! "The founder based his flavorful creations off his own Creole, Caribbean, and Latin kitchen. These are the ultimate in convenience. You only have to put the bag in the microwave for 60 seconds, which'll help you concentrate on the other parts of your meal. I love mixing the Trini Chickpea Curry with leftover rice for a super satisfying weekday lunch. The black beans are TO DIE FOR." —Elizabeth Lilly

"This blender is the small but mighty LOML. It gleams with power, is compact but WILL put larger blenders to shame (those stainless steel blades are no joke), travel-friendly, and it comes apart nice and easy for quick cleaning and storage!
The Magic Bullet is also simple to use. It has a lock-in and twist-to-blend cup, with the blade at the top of the lid. This makes it easy to prep ready-to-blend smoothies for later when you are really on the go.
I lived in the California desert for a month while recovering from toxic mold exposure, and daily smoothies were (and still are) a big part of the recovery process for me. The Magic Bullet is versatile — it can chop, whip, mix, grind, and more! I also use my MB to make fresh hummus, sauces, and soups for dinner. Recovering from mold through diet is all about preparing and eating your own fresh food(s) from scratch, so this machine has been a huge time-saver for me and my partner. The Magic Bullet is speedy, convenient, powerful as heck, and you don't have to take my word for it. Reviewers swear by it for grinding coffee, saving money on baby food, making sauces, smoothies, and all sorts of other treats." —Harper Hendrickson

"Sooo, my closet is a mess. I admit it. And since I promised myself I'd do better, I decided to get these storage bags to see if they'll really give me a neat place to keep off-season clothes without taking up too much space in my room. I folded my clothes and stuffed them in the bag, careful not to fill the bag past the 'STOP' line since the instructions say you could risk re-inflating the bag if you do. I zipped up the bag and used the included vacuum pump to pump out the air, although you can also use a normal vacuum to do this. It took a few minutes, but I watched the bag deflate before my eyes. The flatter the bag becomes, the harder it should be to pump the air out. I stopped once it became really difficult to pull the handle on the pump and marveled at my work. I was pretty dang impressed, TBH. I didn't have any issues with the bag re-inflating and it's been two months so far. Yay for a cleaner closet!!!" —Colin Gorenstein

"You wouldn't believe how many fragrance-free brands I went through before I found one that works for me. Other brands had other additives/ingredients that irritated the heck out of my skin, cause a red rash, or simply did nothing to de-stinkify me. On super sweaty hot days, I've def had to give this brand a re-apply, but it still lasts longer and works way better than anything else I've tried!" —Harper Hendrickson

"I love the texture of these lipsticks — it's very different from other liquid lips — as well as how light and airy they are while still giving vivid color. It feels so extravagant, the shades are flattering, and they're long-lasting. The dahlia flower extract means they smell so good too (I need a perfume with this scent)!
