    iRobot's Mopping Vacuum Is On Sale For Prime Day So You Can Finally Have Clean Floors

    You know what I hate? Dirt and debris clinging to the bottom of my feet. It feels like the floors are always a little dirty.

    Like, you can tell guests to take their shoes off, but will they? No.

    This thing works a lot like a regular robot vacuum. It has smart mapping, which is a fancy phrase for "bumps into stuff until it figures out the layout of each room." Once it gets the lay of the land, it moves into every nook and corner, and sprays it with mopping fluid before cleaning up.

    It uses vSLAM navigation to learn the layout of your home and builds internal maps to help it move around. If it's low on power, it'll return back to the dock to recharge and then venture out again to finish cleaning.  

    You can press a button and let it figure things out on its own, OR you can tell it exactly where you want it to go. It works on all types of floors and can get around furniture, no sweat. 

    It has a corresponding app that helps you lead the mopping process.

    You can create Keep Out Zones so the robot knows what places to avoid (like messy play areas or pet food stations) instead of having to build barricades around those areas. Thanks to the Smart Mapping, the mop can also suggest personalized schedules, so it's basically your assistant. 

    You can press a button, use the app, or even use voice control to get the cleaning going. That means remote cleaning in case you want to come home to fresh floors.

    And you don't need to worry about it spraying cleaning fluid on your carpets. The device has a system where it nudges obstacles and then backs up before spraying so nothing gets an unwanted shower. 

    I have this robot mop and like it! It's great to help keep floors clear in between deep cleans.

    I really love being able to turn on a robot vacuum and then a robot mop and not have to worry about the floors. Sure, it can be a little streaky, but that fades pretty quickly. It's great for upkeep and then I only have to worry about the tight areas where the mop can't reach (I have a lot of junk on the floors).
