"I'm not a "beach person" by any stretch of the definition, and I jump into a pool maaaybe three times during a good summer, but I simply can't resist a cute high-waisted swimsuit. The halter top ties both behind your neck and behind your back, so it's easy to adjust it to your preferred fit. It's adorably retro not just thanks to its high-waisted cut but also the floral pattern I went with — but if a black-and-orange motif isn't your scene, don't fret, because it's available in 14 other equally charming designs (mostly floral, but also cherry and pineapple). The high-waisted bottom has yet to lose its elasticity, and I love the ruching details. For this price, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better quality (and cuter!) swimsuit anywhere." —Emmy Favilla

"I don't ~hate~ washing my face, but I don't love it either. Since I have to do it every day, if there's any way to make that process more fun, I'm so 😍 here 😍 for 😍 it 😍. And it's not gimmicky. Trust me, I had my doubts. It feels really cool and soothing on the skin and incredibly lightweight — you almost don't feel it at all. And there's absolutely no tightness afterwards" —Sarah Han

"Despite thinking that the price was pretty steep for bottle rack, all my doubts were thrown out the window when I lifted it out of the box. It was a LOT heavier than I anticipated. In the photo, it appeared to be plastic, but it’s actually made of metal with a glossy finish. The best part is that it folds down flat so it can easily be stored in a drawer. In terms of stability, it can hold very heavy items without any issues. While normally I would only use it for water bottles and glass carafes, I also occasionally use it to dry out the removable parts of my blender and juicer (which can be quite heavy), and it doesn’t as much as wobble under the weight. In fact, it’s so stable that it wouldn’t fall over even if you only load one side. I’ve also used it to dry out ziplock bags, and it works very well for this purpose, too. Now it’s permanently sitting on my kitchen counter because I use it so often! IMO, it’s definitely worth the price." —Yi Yang

"My mother kept talking about making her own yogurt, so I bought her the Euro Cuisine for Mother's Day. Since then, we've both been making our own homemade yogurt often using this simple and affordable gadget. The only ingredients you need are milk (dairy or non-dairy) and any plain store-bought yogurt (you'll use a small amount of this yogurt as a starter culture). The type of milk and yogurt you use will determine the final taste and texture of your homemade yogurt. I personally like plain, Greek-style yogurt topped with granola and berries, but the yogurt maker contains instructions for making flavored yogurt with fresh fruit, preserved fruit, coffee, jam, and more." —Hannah Loewentheil (read their full review of the Euro Cuisine yogurt maker)

"These pics were taken after leaving the patch on overnight, which is how I find them to be most effective. They need several hours to really knock out a blemish. I also use them during the day, but often find I take them off too early. They also work best on pimples that are already a little bit open — a sucker that's not quite ready to pop won't usually yield results as dramatic as this. Still, putting on a patch during the day or on a non-open zit can still help an acne emergency. I find that they mask the zit a bit and help prevent you from picking at it or making it worse. If nothing else, the blemish is usually a little less huge and swollen when a patch comes off." —Katy Herman

"So, I JUST got a new puppy a few days ago — an adorable eight-week-old Havanese named Bailey. We're crate-training Bailey and the first two days were a bit rough for him. He would almost constantly whine/cry when in his crate, to the point that we were only getting about an hour of sleep. I had heard really great things about the Snuggle Puppy, so in a desperate attempt to ease Bailey's separation anxiety and make crate-training easier, as well as to save our sanity, we bought this stuffed toy, and let me tell you, it's made ALL THE DIFFERENCE! He loves being close to it when he rests in his crate (he also loves chewing it). Best of all, he slept the entire night and has just been so much calmer and happier in his crate. I truly cannot say enough good things about this." —Sam Wieder

"The regular spatula is great for medium to large-sized bottles like lotion, shampoo, or conditioner. It's long enough to get to the bottom of the containers and the end of the handle is on an angle so you have more control. The mini spatula is perfect for makeup bottles. I used it all the time when the pump on one of my serum bottles stopped working. I figure after using these spatulas for a few months, I've probably saved more than a few loonies and toonies on makeup and skincare. Plus, it's super satisfying to see how much product comes out. I knew there was more in there!" —Kaysey Davis

It comes with cleaning solution, a razor, and a scrubbing tool. I own this stuff and it works actually magic on stuck-on food and oil splatters. I've seriously never seen my burners look cleaner than they do after using this stuff, and I'm so happy it doesn't cost a fortune (but I'd buy it even if it did).

"Perhaps the reason I’ve been so bad at keeping around a box of tissues is that tissues just look...kind of ugly out in the open. But not with this lil’ cover! Now it’s a ~design element~ that I’ll hopefully remember to keep full. For now, it’s filled with a square box of tissues I unearthed from my old apartment’s closet while packing; it's presently neatly housed inside the tissue box cover, providing the "smoke" for the tiny chimney. The only downside to committing to this box is that I'll have to buy square-shaped tissue boxes only now. But I can live with that. And with my not-snotty nose. —Elizabeth Lilly

"On the left is my hair freshly shampooed and conditioned, and on the right is my hair after I blew it out with the dryer. The blowout process took me about an hour and a half, but I'm sure I can get it even quicker with more practice. I didn't want it super sleek because I prefer a big hair look, but I could've gotten the roots even straighter with a few more strokes if I wanted to." —Essence Gant (read their full review here)

"I don't need caffeine to get me going in the morning, but I do love a flavourful drink and this loose-leaf blend really does it for me. It's the perfect blend of sour and spicy (though I like to add a bit of extra cayenne) and makes me feel like I'm doing something good for my bod every time I drink it." —Alice Prendergast

"This baby will save you from getting down on your hands and knees to scrub down your toilet bowl because it does the work with every flush. Using it is simple: load the gel cartridge into the stamper and click the button to apply the gel sticker to your toilet bowl. It's actually really satisfying to use and I'm happy to report it works, too! It keeps my toilet smelling fresh and saves me from having to scrub away gross build-up on the bowl, meaning I have one less chore to do every week." —Alice Prendergast

"Fun fact: I'm one of those people who uses bathroom paper towels as oil blotting sheets whenever my nose gets shiny AF at work. Why pay for the sheets when I know my nose is just gonna get oily all over again? Well, little did I know that a setting spray (something I only associated with fancy events and makeup artists) would solve this pesky issue." —Patrice Peck

"My friend Katie frequents my apartment and has definitely drunk out of the wrong glass before — which is probably why she bought me these li'l drink markers for my birthday (also because she knows I love some kitschy kitchen shit.) These objectified helpers are quite beefy, easy to wash, have names like Chad and Brad, and even bounce when they hit the floor. So really, they’re ideal for using with your sloppy friends and their weird drink combos that’d make your taste buds recoil. Their terrified grips fit on the edges of all sorts of drinks, including, but not limited to: Old Fashioned glasses, wineglasses, and pint glasses. Just maybe don’t look straight into these dudes' tiny eyes, because they’ll see into your soul and you’ll never be the same." —Elizabeth Lilly

“I've been an avid Kindle user for the past five years, but when I saw this version, I knew it was time to upgrade. The main selling point is the fact that this one is waterproof. So waterproof, in fact, that it can be in up to 2 meters of fresh water for more than 60 minutes. Plus, it's lighter, has more storage, and the battery lasts for WEEKS. I took this on vacation with me and was so impressed. I was able to sit on the ledge in the pool and read without worrying about getting the device wet. And I even put it in the water to test, and it still works perfectly. Plus, I used it every day and didn't have to charge it the whole time I was on the trip. That gets a big gold star in my book.“ —Abby Kass

"I have hereditary alopecia and any irritants on my scalp can make things flare up, making my hair loss worse. A few months ago, I contracted dermatitis on my face and it spread to my scalp. My face healed in days, but the flakiness on my scalp wouldn't go away, causing me to lose clumps of hair ALL day, everywhere. I tried SLS-free shampoos, shampooing less, shampooing more, conditioning carefully, and even using steroid-based topical ointments, and nothing really worked. But then I started using T/Gel shampoo every week and a half (it's very high-strength). It showed substantial effects on my hair after the first few uses! The itchiness disappeared and eventually my hair stopped falling as badly as before. Plus, new teeny-tiny hair is growing on the bald patches! It'll be a long road, but I'll continue to use T/Gel shampoo." —Imaan Sheikh

"I decided to try a cooling towel to see if it actually does what it said it would, and I was very surprised by how effective it is. You soak the cloth, wring it out, snap it a few times, and somehow it's magically cool. If it starts to warm up you just snap it again, and after a few hours, you soak it again and repeat the process. The towel definitely isn't icy cold — it's more of a cool sensation that'll give you a little shiver if you place it on the back of your neck. I've been tying it around my head (yes, I look silly, but it's worth it), sticking it down my cleavage, and just wrapping it around my neck or wrist when I'm out in the sun. It makes me feel so much better while I wait for autumn to arrive." —Sarah Rohoman

"I call these babies my beauty slugs, and I love them for days when I'm hungover or just plain exhausted. "Pour 32 ounces of water into the pitcher (you can measure, which I do, or eyeball it to around 3/4 of the way full). Drop the filter into the pitcher, screwing the lid on tight. Stick that baby in the fridge to brew overnight (or up to 36 hours). Take the filter filled with grounds out, and the coffee will keep for days and days! And thanks to the airtight seal, the flavor will stay fresh and free of odors from other food in your fridge (looking at you, garlicky leftovers)." —Maitland Quitmeyer

"I have a lot of plants, and many of them are demanding. Since I can admittedly be a bit of neglectful plant parent, I like to have a few secret weapons at my disposal that can bring my babies back to life when I've forgotten to water them for a few days (or weeks). This stuff does WONDERS. My monstera is absolutely obsessed with it and has since spawned several monstera babies thanks to its magic. "I've gotten into a handful of new hobbies during quarantine, but above all, I've become obsessed with making cocktails at home. Unlike normal ice cubes that quickly melt and leave your drink tasting watered down, these giant ice cubes keep your cocktail delightfully cold, and they remain intact while you sip. The square moulds take about two seconds to fill up and place in the freezer. The spherical cubes take a little bit more finesse in order to make them perfectly shaped, but the set comes with a funnel to make filling them up easier. Because the moilds are made of flexible silicone, the giant ice cubes quickly come right out with no fuss. From negronis to margaritas and everything in between, these simple ice cube moulds instantly make my cocktail creations taste better. And not to mention the jumbo ice cubes make any basic DIY drink look fancier too." —Hannah Loewentheil

I didn't want my dreaded teenage back acne to return because I missed a few spots in the shower, so I bought this baby. It helps me reach all those places I can't get on my own and now I don't have to enlist the help of my partner to make sure my pores go unclogged." —Alice Prendergast

"That's my hair right there! As you can see, it really picks up all of the annoyingly too-short hairs near the nape of my neck that I can't gather into a high ponytail or bun. (Don't mind the remaining front-framing wispies in the 'after' photo — those are there on purpose!) There is one main caveat though: I only use it if I know I'll be washing my hair either that night or the next, since it does still ~stiffen~ the areas of hair I use it on — but it's better than hairspray, in my opinion. Some reviewers say that they can just brush the gel out, but I'd prefer to just wash it out." —Sarah Han
