This movie was truly amazing. I'm not Mexican or Mexican American, and I grew up watching it because of how beautiful and inspiring the story was. This film introduced me to Selena and Tejano music.
I agree with you, he was 100% referring to Gaga in that interview. That entire interview exert was shady as f*ck and uncalled for. His examples were hyper specific and mean, I understand why her fans went after him, but I definitely don't condone their behavior.
EXACTLY! I also have recently put in Senegalese twists and had the same reaction from colleagues and randos, it makes you feel like some sort of attraction at a zoo and it's dehumanizing.
I loved this video, especially because of Jamil Uncle, he was so charming. I had never really known exactly what Chai Tea was or the different ways that it can be made, I appreciated the lesson. The fact that Chai Tea means "tea tea" shows you how ridiculous us Americans can be.
