Promising review: "I am 38 years old and I've finally found the one! By the one I mean the ONLY hair straightener in the world that delivers salon quality results at home. For the first time in my life, I can stop going to the salon once a week to get my hair done, and actually make it look amazing by myself. Hats off to the whole Dyson team for inventing this hair tool, I'm a guaranteed lifer. This is also the first time in my life any product has impressed me so much that I took the time to do a review, I'm just so excited to finally be able to my hair at home and have it look absolutely professional. Thank you Dyson!" —MaggieMo82

Promising review: "After waiting for years, I finally decided the cost had come down enough to purchase a 3D printer. After doing a lot of research I decided to purchase the Creality Ender 3 Pro and I have not been disappointed. So far it has been a great printer. The prints come out a lot better than I expected. So far it has been a workhorse, as it has almost been constantly printing since I received it three weeks ago! This printer was easy to put together and set up, but while I am a novice in 3D printing, I am not in electronics, computers, and CAD design. Due to my computer and CAD expertise, creating my own designs has been easy so for the majority of my prints, I have mainly printed my own designs so far,. But, even for the beginner with all the downloadable prints that are available online, there is plenty to keep you busy printing." —UMWarEagle

When I tell you my Nintendo Switch Lite and my husband's Nintendo Switch has been a true game-changer in keeping us both entertained over the last year I wholeheartedly mean it. From spending hours upon hours building a 5-star island on Animal Crossing: New Horizons and adventuring in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to breaking a sweat playing Fit Boxing 2 and exploring the beautiful world in Ori and The Will of The Wisps, there really isn't anything you can't do on a Nintendo Switch device.
Promising review: "The Switch is Nintendo's best device since the N64. I use my Switch every day. I commute by train so this has been perfect for me. There has never been a handheld this good. The transition to and from docked mode is seamless. The battery life is also pretty decent. Overall, it is a great device. Nintendo's back!" —Arjun S. Kahlon

My Starbucks monthly bill has come down considerably after buying this unit, and I'm ready to hit the ground running that much sooner in the morning. ...and might I recommend the too-cute AirPod Pro cases from Rifle Paper while you're at it? My fellow editor, Emma Lord may have just convinced me to upgrade from my old AirPods:
"I have a pair of these, and they're not playing around. Once they're securely in your ear, you can toggle the headphones between noise-cancelling and regular sound, depending on your situation. I've been working from home, and the noise-cancelling is so effective that I can work next to a window where my neighbor is doing heavy construction and I don't hear anything louder than a faint buzzing. It's quieter than if I'd just plugged my ears with my own fingers. I'm also a runner, and these don't budge when you're sweating, which is nice. It's also handy that these toggle out of noise-cancellation mode, because I feel better being able to hear traffic and other people around me when I'm out and about. The TL;DR: I love these so much I have zero interest in owning another pair of headphones for as long as I live."

Promising review: "I very much love this product. It makes my partner and I feel so much closer every time we tap since we live in different states. It really does help a lot with that distance. I usually tap the bond whenever I'm anxious or something during work and knowing my partner feels it and would tap back is very reassuring to know that they're there even when far away or just random taps to know that he's thinking of me. The only con that I have with this is that the bonds sometimes have a delayed timing but it's easily resolved with restarting the app and your phone." —Nightshade

My husband and I recently tested this out on a wall in our apartment and it was pretty freakin' cool! I love Jessica McDonald's (@thehealthymouse on Instagram) setup for watching Disney movies with her tyke! I can totally see laying out cozy blankets, pillows, and a tent for an outdoor movie night the entire fam will enjoy. This pocket-sized gadget has the capability of streaming Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube.
Promising review: "I was so excited when I came across Cinemood, because we had been searching for an alternative for my child’s room. The sleep timer is perfect because she likes to listen to lullabies before bed, and we often read the stories as well. Shadow puppets just blew her mind away, super cool! I enjoy finding new devices I can try, and this one surely did not disappoint. I originally bought it for the kids, but I’ve actually used it for movie nights, our friends are always impressed. I look forward to using it outdoors this spring!" —Elixir Premium Lab

I have one of these bad boys and it has honestly been a game changer. When I posted on my Instagram that I had received one, the responses I got were WILD. People are PASSIONATE about this gadget and now I understand why. I've used it on the arches of my feet and have way less pain than ever before. The nozzle at the end contracts at a high speed (think, a tiny punching machine) that surprisingly doesn't hurt but leaves your body buzzing in a good way. At thise point I've gotten one for my sister, my parents, and my in-laws who are all in love with this gadget.
Don't be intimidated by its appearance. It's simple to use and extremely effective. It feels similar to managing a hand mixer — weird, but true. In my opinion, it's worth the money and it actually does work.
Promising review: "I received a Mini as a gift from my daughter last Christmas and LOVE it. It helps my sore muscle, aches and pain a great deal. It’s small, light weight and not noisy, I take it every where I go. Bought one recently as a gift to my brother for his birthday so we can spread the love and help his aching body." —Po W.

Promising review: "I am the proud owner of three of these (so far). They're quiet when on AC power. They have great customization. I've muted the beeps and warnings so if the power kicks off, they just take over without distracting me further. I LOVE the two front USB plugs. I charge devices from them all the time. The LED screen is off by default until you press a button, so other than the dimly lit power button on the front, there's no distracting lights or sounds under normal use on AC power. So, how well do they work? Well, I've owned a lot of UPSes. These are by far much quieter than any I've purchased from APC. They have a true sine wave output (which is amazing!), and the 1500VA is perfect for most electronics. The front screen will tell you how much of a load you have plugged in and even an estimate for how long the unit should run given that load if you lost power. So, no surprises!" —Ramze

My fellow BuzzFeed editor Maitland Quitmeyer loves this thing. Here's what she had to say:
"The acne scars on my cheeks from a series of breakouts are fading fast, and I get new acne very rarely — they're more like a pimple here and there occasionally when I have to fly somewhere (curse you, dry airplanes) or get stressed or.... who even knows why my skin freaks out sometimes. Never thought I'd ever put a no-makeup selfie on the internet, but that's how much I love this thing."

My husband uses this as his main screen for when he's playing games like Fortnite or Call of Duty on his PC. He loves how seamless the gameplay looks compared to most standard monitors that top out at 60hz. Two thumbs up from my household!
Promising review: "Wow! What an amazing monitor for the price. I tried to look for a monitor with all these features. What I was looking for was 1440p at 144 Hz. This monitor is capable of 165 Hz using the display cable. It also has a very good color spectrum at 120% sRBG and HDR 10 and HDR first gaming and it even has a console setting. The screen has a matte finish so you won't have a lot of glare. I don't like very bright monitors or TVs and I don't game with the lights completely off as it strains my eyes. I'm very pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend the monitor to everyone." —Josh

There are so many things you need to know about this gadget that I barely know where to start! I've been using it for the last few weeks and, despite being a loyal Mac user, I really love it. The charger itself has a USB port in it, so you'll never have to scour for multiple outlets or choose between your two devices when your phone inevitably starts to die. The screen can literally be detached and used as a touchscreen — which is pretty awesome for anyone looking to take notes on the go or wants to draw with the tablet in their lap. I've been using it to play The Sims; aka my greatest test for any computer. The fact I can play it without the computer fully blowing up or canceling the game on me is something I haven't been able to enjoy in years. My husband, who I've mentioned is a bit of a gaming nerd (sorry, Paul) was so impressed by the clarity and specs on the screen. If you're in need of a computer upgrade, consider this one.

This is another product I have on-deck for my new home and can't wait to fully test it out! It has tons of great features, but one of my favorites is that it has the ability to sync with your TV's remote so you won't have to fumble for yet another remote to control the sound when a show is just a tad too low. I also like that it really isn't too bulky, so it won't be an eyesore when paired with my rather slim TV.
Promising review: "Wow... game changing piece of equipment... (better than) theatre quality sound, easy set-up, great template included that made installation fairly easy. I installed it and ran the wires myself... and I'm not that handy. Subwoofer is amazing and I could not believe how inexpensive this system was. Having the ability to connect the Bluetooth system to my phone to play (incredible sounding) music is huge. We are ecstatic with the purchase !" —Thomas

My parents bit the bullet and brought a robo-vac into their home. They were hesitant about the new tech, but after giving it a go and seeing how thorough this lil' machine was they were over the moon. My mom especially loves how it has the ability to not only vacuum, but mop the entire house as well. It's magical.
Promising review: "Pricey but well worth it. My husband uses a push-style broom on our hardwood floors about four times a week. He tries hard but I felt like my feet were always picking up dirt. This little guy did about 2,000 square feet of our home in no time with battery to spare. My floors feel cleaner then ever. Still clean today. Thought we would need to run the bot every day but I’m thinking every other day will be plenty. Use the app!!! We did our research and we are incredibly impressed with this robot. We also used on suction only and normal power. No need for Max." —Heather L Stahl

Promising review: "This headset is honestly the best for the price. Yeah, it may not have 'fancy' little lights or anything like that too flashy but these guys PERFORM! I've had mine for over a year and they're as good as day one. They hold up well to wear and tear, they still look new after a year of them being used just about every day. These are amazing, you can hear so well, the sound is crisp and clear. The mic picks up great too. One of my favorite things is that if you're in a room with other people they won't be heard through the other end unless they're shouting or are really loud. These have reallyyyy good noise canceling. I'd buy the same exact headset if my headset ever gave out." —Diana

Promising review: "The best product I have ever invested in. Ironically I set up the camera and the next day, I was burglarized. Camera was on night mode, lights were off and it had PERFECT footage. I was able to get clear image of the people and I am hoping detectives capture them. The camera sits like a speaker and does not look like a camera at all. I was afraid to order something that may not work well but it has excellent image. I highly recommend this product. It also has a feature that will call the closest police department near you. It notifies you every time there is movement in the house while you are in away mode. Like I said, HIGHLY recommend. I will definitely purchase another one." —Amazon Customer

It is lightweight stainless, has six shelves with a timer, and is so quiet. It has a clear door on front so you can see what's happening. I've made jerky in it and the six shelves are a sufficient size for 3-1/2—4 lbs of meat. You can control the temperature and time, and it has all the features I wanted. BuzzFeed editor John Mihaly swears by this gadget. He said:
"Listen, listen, listen. Without hyperbole, the Baby Brezza has been one of my best investments for year one in babyland. Late-night feeds no longer become about fumbling, spilling, mixing, warming, and minutes later delivering a so-so bottle to a crying child. No, in seconds a measured and warm concoction is in hand and then in baby's mouth. Just add water to the tank and formula to the dispenser and serve bottles ranging between 2-10 ounces warmed to three different temperatures. The time, effort, and stress this wonderful machine has saved me from is emotionally immeasurable and worth the price tag. It even forces you to clean it after every four uses because that formula gets gunky and you get lazy."

BuzzFeed editor Genevieve Scarano is a huge fan of this gadget. She said:
"I've been jogging almost daily on this treadmill, and it's been a big help when it's too cold outside and most gyms are closed due to COVID-19. You can walk or jog up to 5 mph, move the handrail up or down (and yes, this means you can walk on the treadmill even with the rail *all the way down on the floor* for workouts), *and* track your daily progress in the Treadly App. Walking and running on this treadmill feels the same as other treadmills I've tried in the past (minus the up to 5 mph feature). What I love about that speed limit though is that it helps me focus on my form when I'm jogging or walking. I'm being mindful of each step and not rushing, so I really enjoy using it for workouts."

Honestly, no matter which version of the Dyson stick vacuum you purchase, I can promise you'll be satisfied with the results. I've used a variety of 'em and I can't say enough good things about the product. It doesn't hurt my back to use for an extended period of the time, the battery lasts long enough to clean my entire apartment, and it simply just WORKS. We have ours mounted in a narrow spot alongside our fridge — it's really easy to keep in plain sight without being an eyesore.
Promising review: "I love this vacuum. The V10 doesn't disappoint. While it's weird to get used to holding this tiny piece of machinery, it really does an amazing job. It was incredible how much dog fur it picked up! I was pretty grossed out to be honest, to think I lived in this atmosphere for this long 'thinking' it was clean is nuts! I love all the attachments too, they are all top notch and well made. I feel like I can tackle my entire house with this bad boy. AND it's lightweight! I use it on the lowest setting and it still picks up a ton. I don't think I'll ever need the high or medium setting. But I did try the highest setting for a few seconds and literally felt like the vacuum was ATTACHED to the floor, that's how hard it sucked (in a good way)!" —Matthew Mintun

BuzzFeed editor Hannah Loewentheil finally caved and bought an air fryer while in quarantine, and she's glad she did:
"I'd been contemplating buying an air fryer for quite some time, but it wasn't until I found myself cooking every night with my family due to COVID-19 that I finally decided it was the right time to get one. Friends of mine were raving about their new Instant Vortex Plus 6-in-1 Air Fryer, so after reading similar feedback on Amazon, I decided it looked like a winner. And it happens to be made by the same company that makes the crowd-favorite Instant Pot. I figured I would be using this appliance primarily as air air fryer, but as an added bonus, it can also roast, broil, bake, re-heat, and dehydrate food.
I've had this air fryer for about three weeks now, and I can honestly say it's become the hero of my kitchen. It preheats quickly, it's large enough to hold a good amount of food at once, it's easy to clean, and it makes food taste crispy on the outside and moist on the inside without any oil. I've been using my air fryer to make vegetables just about every night and it makes them taste so good. If you're cooking for kids, picky eaters, or you just don't get so excited about eating vegetables, the air fryer could be perfect for you. If you like chicken, the air fryer might change your life, and I don't mean that to be dramatic. The air fryer produces restaurant-quality chicken that tastes absurdly decadent, except there's no oil involved in the cooking — just air. We also tried making sesame chicken in the air fryer using boneless skinless chicken thighs. The sesame chicken tasted almost identical to my favorite Chinese takeout, and it had nothing to do with my cooking skills. Thanks to the air fryer, the chicken gets so crispy. I couldn't believe I made this at home!!"

Promising review: "I bought this because I was very curious. I was initially worried the cold water would be an issue but so far it is not. I am worried about the winter months though as I think the tap water may be a little cooler. This thing cleans up your butt like you just got out of shower. I wish these were in every public toilet everywhere. I won't poop anywhere in my house except the master bath now. I am excited to poop so I can flush it and then clean up using the Tushy so I can see in the toilet how much it cleaned my butt. You will be amazed." —Ryan

Promising review: "I never had any intentions of purchasing the Owlet until after we brought our daughter home and had a scare due to reflux! The next day we drove 30 minutes away to purchase it. I have slept so much better since. We have not received false notifications except the occasional 'check placement' when baby was kicking a little too much. The solution to this is we just place normal socks on her feet and it stops that from happening! I would purchase this product over and over and would recommend it to everyone! It helps us sleep so much better, especially when baby came down with a cold and was super congested. The Owlet assured me her oxygen was 100% and the same day in the doctor's office their machine read 100% as well. It’s great knowing my babe is sleeping safe at night!" —Mommy27

My husband was hesitant about getting a device like this in our home, but after an hour he was sold. We have it in our kitchen and *kindly* ask it to play music while we cook and eat, use it to set timers while baking, and ask it funny questions. We love this lil' gadget. We also have a Google Nest Hub by our front door so we always know what's on each other's calendar for the and know what time it is before heading out. Promising review: "I always was terrible at this game, but my friends loved it. I saw the sale and bought it immediately. Assembly was a breeze, plugged it in, and works just fine. Solid sound, no glitches, no issues whatsoever. Even perfecting my moves. I'm not a professional gamer or anything, so I have no problem with the joysticks or buttons, but I can see how some may. My kids love it. For the price, and excitement, well worth it. Thanks Arcade1Up!" —Mo

Promising review: "Was nicer than I had anticipated. It will take a few times to get used to the controls and the zero turn, but it was manageable first attempt. It took me an hour and 20 minutes with my normal mower and about 25 minutes with this. It is pretty fast. Overall, I love it!" —Jperk
