The Improper Pig is located in the South Park area of Charlotte, NC. The Improper Pig specializes in a mix between Korean food and barbecue.
"FÅ«D at Salud is about putting creative spins on classic sandwiches. We use local, fresh ingredients delivered daily. Eat beer" is the way they describe themselves on Facebook. FuD at Salud, is actually new to the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives family....the episode actually just aired on TV last week. Located in the NoDa area of Charlotte, they couldn't be more accurate about creative spins on sandwiches.
Specializes in hot dogs, but you can also find chicken fingers on the menu. There are multiple different locations of JJ's in Charlotte, but the one I went to is located in the Ballantyne part of Charlotte.
Pit Road Bar and Grill offer you a whole different kind of experience inside of the Charlotte location. The restaurant is located inside of Victory Lane Karting, a center for go-kart racing.
Dish opened its doors in the summer of 2002. Located in Plaza Midwood, Dish is known for its southern comfort food. From meatloaf to chicken and dumplings, Dish is known to be a city favorite of most Charlottians.
Located on the westside of Charlotte, Pinky's Westside Grill is owned by Greg Auten who also owned The Penguin before it closed. Both Pinky's and The Penguin are kind of legendary in Charlotte, and always bring in huge crowds. What is also interesting about Pinky's is according to the episode of Diners, Drive In's, and Dive's that Pinkys appeared on, the building used to be an old garage that worked on Volkswagens. This explains the architecture found on the roof of the building.
Cabo Fish Taco is a small restaurant in the Noda area. Cabo was opened by Virginia Native Rob and his wife Megan, and has been a popular restaurant in Charlotte for more than eight years. Cabo is described as serving Southwest and Baja cuisine. Cabo Fish Taco is located at 3201 North Davidson Strreet Charlotte, NC 28205. Unfortunately, there is very little parking around it. So most customers park in a lot located toward the back of Cabo. You do have to pay a meter to park there which is a minimum of $5.
