As a non-drinker, reading these lists I'm always baffled why so many people want to go into debt or drain their savings to pay for alcohol at their wedding reception so that their friends and family with a drinking problem can then drunkenly ruin their wedding day.
A friend texted me about 7 p.m. one night to ask if I wanted to come over, and I told her I was dealing with a work emergency and probably wouldn't get home for at least a couple more hours. She asked if I had eaten dinner yet and when I said no she dropped some off.
