Yeah, I disagree with that one. It isn't glamorizing or laughing at addiction. The problem with a lot of these movies is who or what is the punchline. Some of them would probably still be made today with some tweaks to the script.

At first I thought someone was selling huge bags of pee out of their trunk and tbh, I'm still not convinced they're aren't but calling it gasoline.

I know someone who had a family member who used something that was the same idea but far simpler. They had some physical limitations and it was the only way they could pee without assistance.

There are definitely a number of cultures around the world where this is very much a thing. I might do this to get the rest of the family loosened up at my funeral. Too many just sit in quiet, orderly silence because "no one wants to make a scene".
