Maurice (1987) has a very happy ending with just the right amount of bittersweet for what is ostensibly a Victorian drama. Männer Wie Wir (2004) is a really cute and funny gay Romcom from Germany about an all gay soccer team.

Red, White, and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. Hands down. I’ve never had a book put you in the emotional heart of a love story so viscerally that it feels like you’re living it as it happens. Rereads are still amazing, but that first time was an emotional roller coaster.
