Pesky First Amendment in this free country of ours. How could they have possibly known it was a Hispanic man? Do you assume everyone in Pheonix is Hispanic? Were you this outraged with CNN’s misreporting after the Boston bombing? At least Fox apologized immediately for airing it.

When will he do his anti-fists or anti-blunt object campaign? Both are used in more homicides than rifles. What new laws does he expect criminals to follow?

What’s to say these people are even reacting to her? A photo captures a nanosecond in time and she is taking that expression at that moment to infer what these people think of HER. What if they are reacting to a conversation they are having or the fact that she is in the way and getting her picture taken. How many times do you see websites that make fun of people on TV by catching them in a moment while blinking and speaking so they look ridiculous? (Deadspin does this all the time) This woman is very conceited and is trying to be a victim.

They do pay taxes but if they feel the tax burden here is too high then they will keep their money somewhere else. Capitalism is about maximizing profit, not paying taxes.

Actually, no one in reality paid that 90% rate. Sure that was the number of the rate but by the time you use all of the deductions and loopholes the real rate paid was comparable to what it is today, in 30-40% range. That 90% number gets used a lot, but it’s not the reality. If our tax code was simpler and more compeitive with other countries then corporations would have an incentive to bring their money back to the U.S so it could be taxed. It would be at a lower rate but if there is a broader base of companies it would generate more revenue in the long run. The rates now punish them from bringing that money in.

They wouldn’t be sucessful if they didn’t know their target customers. Good for them, capitalism at work.

If he sticks to increased mental health screening and gets those records on background checks, like the NRA supported in Virginia, and backs off the expanded checks and the useless 50 Caliber ban then it can be a positive for gun rights supporters.
