How hard is it to split a check when someone has a credit card? If it's just one person, my friends and I will just give them our cash so they can put the full amount on the card. Or, just tell the waiter "X-amount on the card and the rest in cash." It's actually easier than everyone…Â
Yes, but recycling takes energy, so while its preferable to just throwing something away, it's still not a perfect solution. Less packaging overall is the best, coupled with products that can be reused (as opposed to "one time use"/disposable items).
