I’m normally very wary of the way rape is thrown around, but I don’t think this was one of those times. Not a Tosh moment, if you will.
Meh. I fail to see why this is such a big deal. It’s not like she was Heidi Klum status, and even if she were, what’s so stellar about dropping out of an industry that is notoriously difficult? Good for her if she’s happy, but…something about all of this reads like a giant cry for the attention that she doesn’t receive in her current lifestyle choice.
People also forget how fucking short she is. She’s pregnant, already curvy, and has no height to her. Any weight gain will look super significant. Apparently she should just stop eating, I guess.
I had the privilege of working with a North Korean man trying to learn English recently. We aren’t allowed to pry into their personal lives in case they have painful memories, so I didn’t get the chance to ask him how he came to America. But he was one of the most hilarious and good-natured people I’ve ever met, even joking about how meager his life was in North Korea. So heartbreaking to think it was like this.
I want to be friends with all of these people. These were golden.
Buzzfeed, this is hands down the greatest post you have ever published. I thank you.
I get this…but it was still god awful.
What is this, I don’t even. For real.
Good lord, I didn’t know this post was subtitled: Pedantic and Overly Critical Women, UNITE! there are quite a few things here that don’t work for me, but I like the idea of the post and can actually SORT THROUGH what isn’t applicable to myself. Ffs.
