This is not discrimination, harassment or anything nefarious. Come on people. It is a shame the little girl was so upset by everything that was happening. Her mother probably didn’t help much by clearly portraying to her little girl that something bad was happening. But the entire point of security measures is that they are supposed to apply to everyone equally. Admittedly this isn’t always the case but having traveled with disabled individuals I have to say it isn’t that unusual for a wheelchair to be swiped to check for explosive material etc. Surely some of you have had the skin of your hands swiped by TSA? Shame the poor little thing got so upset but talk about making a mountain out of a molehill.
