Dude, I’ve seen almost all of these, and most I disagree with, but damn, Tusk and The Strangers reallllyyyyy stuck with me. I don’t get the hype around Midsommar, since I didn’t find it unsettling in the least (filmmaking was cool though!), but Tusk had some mad fucked-up storytelling…
I’ve rewatched Supernatural 4 times all the way through now. Season 7, episode 10, “Death’s Door.” It’s the episode where Bobby dies and it really messes me up every time.
Like, clutching a box of tissues and ugly-sobbing bad. It’s just really emotional and represented everything…
Tusk definitely has some disturbing AF imagery but it’s not so much that it kept me awake at night because of the horror aspect as it did the kind of melancholic and sad ending.
