queenwheel commented on What's The Most Embarrassing Thing That Happened To You As A Kid?

Not me, but my sister. When we were kids my aunt and cousins lived a few blocks away, so my sister was over there all the time. One night, my mom called my aunt and asked for her to send my sister home because we had errands to run and dinner to get. Two hours pass and my sister still…

queenwheel commented on Which Ghost Tours Are Toooootally Worth Going On?

Farnsworth House's late night "mature tour" in Gettysburg, PA is a must. My friend and I go every year and there is just something completely off-putting about sitting in a dark and dank basement at night while the guides tell you about the creepiest hauntings of the Farnsworth House…

queenwheel commented on What's Your Biggest Horror Story From Your Very First Job?

I worked in a movie store for 5 years. The very worst experience while there was when a coworker and I had to kick a guy out for jerking off to the porn covers (the porn was on the sales floor, not sectioned off)

queenwheel commented on Tell Us Your Horror Stories About Working In Retail

I spent 5 years working in a movie store, and this is by far the best/worst story I've ever heard. This didn't happen to me, but to a co-worker. Two co-workers were closing the store one night, there were only a few customers left, a group of teenage boys and an older gentleman. As…

My sister and I were really into this cartoon called Marsupilami when we were kids. I've literally never met another person who had heard of this show.

queenwheel commented on What Secret Will Your Family Take To The Grave?

My family loves their deep dark secrets, but here is my favorite: When I was a teen, my dad got really serious with a girl he was dating (we'll call her Sarah)-to where he was bringing my sister and I along to her family's Christmas get-together. So, among all the people we met was…

queenwheel commented on What TV Or Film Scarred You For Life When You Were A Child?

Courage the Cowardly Dog has a lot of creepy character and episodes, but none of them got to me quite like Fred. I still get vaguely uncomfortable when I hear someone say "naughty." I think it only makes it worse when you learn that the episode is an analogy for pedophilia.

queenwheel commented on What's The Most Shocking Ending You've Ever Seen In A Documentary?

Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father...I'm not a movie crier, but I sobbed through that entire film. It started out bad with what happened to spark the documentary, but the ending was just gut-wrenching.
