Tell Us About A Great Young Adult Book That Was Done Dirty By Its TV Or Movie Adaptation

Raise your hand if you were personally victimized by the Percy Jackson movie.

There's nothing better than hearing that your favorite YA book is coming to screen as a TV show or movie!

Sometimes, these adaptations are great — they really stay true to the book, capture the author's vision, and maybe even add more depth to the story.

Peter and Lara Jean in "To All the Boys"

But other times, book adaptations just end up being SO disappointing.

Logan Lerman as Percy

Perhaps you didn't even finish the TV show adaptation of Looking for Alaska because Alaska just didn't capture the way you had pictured her character.

Charlie Plummer and Kristine Froseth as Pudge and Alaska

Or maybe you still haven't forgiven Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials for deviating from the book so, so much.

Dylan O'Brien and other main characters
