I'd like to say I'm the Leslie Knope of PR but I'm really just a confused communications college senior who's intrigued by pyramid schemes and enjoys running for fun.
After premiering this summer, the Netflix Original series "Stranger Things" rose to the top of the charts immediately. In eight short episodes, it found its way to steal both the Emmy's red carpets and our hearts. As a communications major, I naturally ponder: Why? What is it about the show that makes it so lovable?
tw: anxiety, panic attacks. It's senior year, and I find myself pondering my future over my morning Cheerios, walks to class, and my nightly ritual of crying myself to sleep. You can find me in my advisor's office having daily existential crises. Imagine have a crisis in these places, however!
The 2016 VMAs was a celebration of diversity and a big ol' slap in the face to the Oscars and all of the white dudes that run television networks. It a celebration of all the many cultures that make up the United States, and the globe. This comes at a time our country really needs to WOKE up.
Instagram has become a feeder for jealousy, while Snapchat has become a feeder for intimacy. Maybe Instagram is onto something trying to be more intimate.
Life is hectic. If my life had a soundtrack, it would be ding-ding-ding if each ding represented moving on to another activity. It's great to be productive and out and about, but if we don't realize these next nine mistake we're making, our mind and body may not be too happy with us.
