I choose which habits I want to improve upon (or those I want to lessen). I look forward to checking it off and seeing that progress. It's helped me become a cook, meal planner, walk my dog more often, do all dishes before going to bed, sweeping each day, reaching out to family more. It's what you want to improve upon and I love it. It's helped me live a happier life and actually helped me maintain hobbies/habits I've always had trouble keeping up with. Worth the money, worth the time, give it a try if you're looking to better your self." —Caroline C.

It also auto shuts off after 45 minutes so you don't overheat or drain your car battery.

Get it from Amazon for $29.99.

Promising review: "When I first saw this heated seat cushion, it was love at first sight. Its surface is soft and smooth. It can heat up quickly and maintain that heat. It has a low and high heat setting. There are beads underneath the cushion and on the belt to prevent sliding, which is nice. The wire is decently long. I can finally be warm when driving during the winter. I love it!" —Aaron Ding

    5. An over-the-door plastic bag organizer to restrain your collecting habits, corral your bags, and make it easy to grab one to use without disturbing the whole assortment. Just reach in the hole!

    6. Investing 101, a beginner's guide to all the money-making terms we probably don't know — but should. Why are there so many confusing acronyms??

    Amazon

Get it from Amazon for $6.99.

Promising review: "Most investment books I've read are generally worthless, with the author's ego and business motives being the highlight. With Investing 101, I struck gold! It is a perfect lexicon of facts and information. It describes all the language & terminology, number and formulae, and strategies used by different investors. It's concise and easy to understand. The information provided has given me enough knowledge to begin trying investing on my own. Excellent resource." —Deborah Walker

    7. A telescoping foam snow broom specifically designed to move layers of the frozen white crystals OFF your car with ease — without scratching your windows or paint.

    youtube.com

And because it's telescoping, it won't take up too much space in your car. It also has two flashlights on the front for those dark winter mornings (sigh).

Get it from Amazon for $17.20, or one without the headlights for $11.75.

Promising review: "Especially great for any vehicles with a high roofline. Very easy to remove light or heavy snow quickly and safely on vehicle surfaces. Have always used the old brush type snow removers...this is faster and with telescoping pole reaches across roof line of SUVs and minivans easily. The scraper is useful for light buildup on windows, but a hand scraper will provide much more leverage. Only drawback is is does consume space in vehicle unless you unscrew the pole. No excuse for leaving that snow on the roof when driving with this tool!" —Frank

    8. A pomegranate de-seeder that'll keep you from splurging on prepared fruit — just pop the cut-in-half pomegranate on top, and tap with a spoon until every seed comes out. Your favorite superfood is ready to eat, and you didn't even have to get super annoyed.

    10. A one-handed bottle opener for quickly removing beer tops — *without* bending the edges.

    Amazon

Promising review: "My husband says this is the greatest beer bottle opener ever. Hate struggling to crack open your beer, well now you don't have to! In one quick squeeze, it's all over with and you're enjoying your beer. And it's a magnet, so it will never get lost in the drawer." —4eva

Get it from Amazon for $16 (available in several colors).

    11. A pair of plant-watering globes so your lil' green friends can drink to their leafy hearts' content.... you know, without *you* needing to actually remember to do it. Just fill with water once, and stick 'em in the soil.

    Amazon

Get a pack of two from Amazon for $7.99.

Promising review: "These are great! The water lasts for days in a small planter...note that the larger the pot, they more frequently you'll have to refill them (naturally). I use them in my tiny elephant head planters because they're above my head and I make a mess if I try to water them by hand. I just ordered two more, and can't wait to get them! They are NOT hard to fill, you just have to leave the water at a very thin stream and be a little patient. Doesn't take more than a minute to fill each one, and worth the time." —The Reverend Mother SugrFingr

    12. An exfoliating bar of soap reviewers with KP (aka keratosis pilaris) swear by to get rid of those tiny red bumps.

    Amazon

Get it from Amazon for $12.95.

Promising review: "Excellent for KP! I use on my entire body every time I shower (NOT on my face) and my skin has NEVER felt smoother all over! One 8oz bar lasts me an entire month! I even liked the bar so much that I recommended it to my dermatologist!! I HIGHLY recommend! I have had KP on my arms ever since I can remember and have literally tried everything- this is the best option since it doesn’t stain, provides immediate results, and I can pack it with me to take anywhere when I shower!! Also it’s great for the bottoms of your feet to get rid of dead skin- better than a pumice stone!!" —Amazon Customer

    13. A tub of Musher's Secret wax to protect your pupper's paws from too hot or too cold pavements all year long — some reviewers even say it helps dogs with hyperkeratosis.

    amazon.com

Get a tin from Amazon for $12.75.

Promising review: "I've been a professional dog groomer for 10 years, and I use this product all the time. Looking through other reviews, there seems to be a lot of confusion about how to use this, so here's everything you need to know:

WHAT IT'S FOR: I use Musher's Secret to protect paws both from the salt and cold in winter (snow and ice stick to the hair between paw pads and can cause frostbite; Musher's Secret helps prevent the ice and snow from sticking), and it also helps protect paws from hot pavement in the warmer seasons. This doesn't mean that you can let them walk on burning hot pavement if they have this on, it just helps to prevent the pads from drying out and becoming damaged and uncomfortable.

HOW MUCH TO USE: YOU ONLY NEED TO USE A TINY BIT! It seems that some people are putting way too much of this on! What I have on my finger in the photo below is enough for two of my medium-size dog's paws! It should never be gloopy on their paws! It's just like putting on lotion, basically- you just put enough on to very lightly coat the paw. The product starts soaking in almost immediately; I've never had a problem with staining my couches or carpet with proper application.

PETS LICKING IT OFF?: If your pet tries to lick it off his/her paws, distract them for a few minutes until it's completely soaked in. I give my dogs very chewy sweet potato treats after applying this to their paws both as a reward for letting me and to keep them distracted from it while it soaks into their skin so they don't lick it off. If it takes more than a minute or two to completely soak in, you've applied too much." —Max Siegel

    14. A three-intensity lip + cheek palette formulated with coconut extract for a fresh-faced GLOW. The best part? It's a one & done so you can quickly dab it on with a finger when you're running out the door.

    instagram.com, amazon.com

Each shade has the three sections (sheer, medium, and opaque) so you can choose the amount of coverage you want! It's also vegan and cruelty-free.

Get it from Amazon for $10 (available in three shades).

Promising review: "I loved this! my favorite of the Undone Beauty products! When applied to the cheek it makes you look super rosy and fresh and I received so many compliments on my makeup when I wore this for the first time. It applies much more matte on your lips but makes for a great base underneath gloss or other lipstick. It reminded me of a much more expensive cream blush. Undone!" —Cecily Knee

    15. A gold-filled magnetic clasp converter to more easily (but still securely) put on and take off necklaces and bracelets without having to ask for help.

    amazon.com

These are especially great for anyone with arthritis or limited mobility in their fingers!

Get it from Amazon for $10.95.

Promising review: "When you get this little bitty clasp you are going to say that it will never work. Let me just tell the story... This little bitty magnet could hold up a HUGE & HEAVY necklace. I purchased several of these from a national television jewelry seller and they were total crap. I kept looking and found these on Amazon. Looking at the photo they looked pretty large so I ordered TWO. Soon as I opened the box I was ready to send them back without even trying them but I said 'what the hey' and put them on the necklaces. THEY WORK!! THE FORCE IS STRONG WITH THIS ONE!!!! I am back to order five more." —Teresa

    16. An eight pack of spiral spin pins so you can transform a lazy pony into a chick updo in just seconds. Everyone will think you tried when you really just....didn't.

    Amazon

Get them from Amazon for $7.99 (also available in gold).

Promising review: "I LOVE THESE. I used to purchase the Goody brand but it seems my local stores stop selling the larger size and only carry the tiny ones now. I decided to try this brand out and I'm so glad I did. I love that there are eight per pack versus the two in the competitor boxes. I make sure to keep these handy anywhere I go. My hair is extremely long, about 25 inches, and one of these holds my hair in place perfectly. I use two when I'm playing volleyball and I never have to retie my hair like I used to when using a hair tie. I definitely recommend these." —Victoria B.

    17. A steam diverter for your pressure cooker to move steam to the side, rather than venting up towards your cabinets. No warped wood here!

    Amazon

Get it from Amazon for $13.99 (available in six colors and styles).

Promising review: "We've used our Instant Pot at least weekly since we got it and I've always worried about the upper cabinets. We have a small kitchen and the steam goes straight up to those cabinets. So much so that I have to wipe them dry before I open the lid or it may drip into the food (um, gross). And I've been concerned that the steam may ultimately damage the cabinets. Well, low and behold!! Not this anymore!! The steam was properly diverted away, so no more steamy, wet mess on the edge of the cabinet above!! Amazing. It was much larger than I anticipated, but realize it needs to be that big to work." —renee richard

    18. A pair of 100% opaque, fleece-lined tights you can layer under your skirts and dresses (or even under pants on a really chilly day) without losing your stylish look.

    Amazon

Get them from Amazon for $17.99 (available in two sizes, black and navy; you can also get two pairs for $29.99).

Promising review: "I bought these for myself and my mother and daughter-in-law to wear to an outdoor wedding in Montana. There was snow on the ground and we all had cozy, warm legs! We were all amazed as to just how comfortable these tights are. They feel like heaven when you slip them on. Our ages ranged from thirties to eighties and they fit each of us perfectly. I wish these came in more colors. These are absolutely the nicest tights that I have ever worn!" —Lync

    19. A pair of Australian sheepskin insoles to transform any pair of shoes (wellies, slippers, boots, sneaks, etc.) into Ugg-like heaven.

    Amazon

Get a pair from Amazon for $9.99 (available in sizes 4–13).

Promising review: "Wonderful! Warm, cozy, comfortable — everything I could want. Many of the insoles I have bought in the past had a layer of fleece stuck to a piece of plastic, which felt fine for a little while but soon the fleece wore away and I was walking on the plastic which was very uncomfortable. These are the real deal — a piece of lamb hide with leather on the bottom and fleece on top. The fleece is so thick I can't imagine it will ever wear down to the bottom but if it does, I will be walking on soft leather, which isn't bad. I will be buying again." —Linda Williams

    20. A stainless steel Sink Shroom from the makers of the cult-fave TubShroom that'll blend right in with your sink and keep *all* the pesky food remnants from clogging your drain.

    Amazon

That hollow black part in the middle? That's designed so the sink will still drain, even if you have a big pot blocking it!

Get it from Amazon for $11.99.

Promising review: "As someone on a septic system, we can't have a garbage disposal. Consequently we've always lived by sink strainers. And I've tried and dealt with many different ones. But this is, far and away, the best I've even utilized. The holes are sized such that the tiny, meaningless stuff, goes through. And the design is such that even when full of gunk it still drains, and very well at that. Meanwhile, it doesn't accidentally let gunk through that might clog your drain. In the end, it's difficult to describe how great this is. Just drop the cash and check it out for yourself. You'll be glad you did." —R. Snare

    21. A trio of mini Pet House candles that'll truly knock out the worst pet stinks and leaving your home smelling ahhh-mazing — each candle burns for up to 12 hours.

    Amazon

Get a set of three from Amazon for $9.99 (available in 17 scents).

Promising review: "Love them! My new favorite candle. These candles not only smell fantastic but they really do get rid of those bad pet odors, I have two dogs (one is a puppy) and no matter how much scrubbing and cleaning sometimes smells just seem to stay, but these make it unnoticeable, plus they smell like heaven. These aren’t tealight sized samples either, mine burned for two full days (12-15) hours per candle and they kept the scent until the very end." —I hate it

    22. A few sheets of LED-dimming stickers to finally keep those pesky router, TV, clock, and other electronic lights from ruining your ~room of complete darkness~.

    amazon.com

They dim 50-80% of the light, so you can still tell that your devices are still actually *on* and functioning. You can always double them up to completely block out the light source if you'd like (many reviewers do this) or buy the stronger **full black-out** edition!

Get a sheet of over 100 dimming stickers (in multiple sizes and shapes) from Amazon for $4.49.

Promising review: "This is the best thing you never knew you needed. I own a digital clock with the numbers displayed in red LED light, and every night I've blocked the light with a cover so it doesn't shine in my eyes as I sleep. Silly I know, but I like my room pitch black and cave-like. On a whim I bought this product. OH MY GOD! Game changer!! For the first night EVER I didn't have to cover the clock display before I went to bed!! I had no idea how big a difference this little dimmer could make, but I'm more than pleased with the result. I can still see the time display just fine, but now my room is a happy cave! Some commenters argue you could get the same effect using electrical tape, regular tape covered in sharpie, etc, but true to the name of these products if you're looking for something to DIM, then this is for you. Also the product is easy to remove and doesn't leave a sticky residue at all, which can't be said for most tapes. I did notice a slight lag in response when I covered my TV LED sensor, so if you're trying to block something that actually senses inputs I would maybe not suggest this. Other than that, excellent product!" —Amazon Customer

    23. A ball launcher that'll be a years-long treat for any four-legged friends who love to R-U-N.

    youtube.com

Get it from Amazon for $8.52 (available in nine models — for different size balls and shorter/greater throwing distance).

Promising review: "While my dog struggles with the concept of returning the ball to me, she absolutely loves this! We visit a huge dog park frequently, and this lets me throw a ball far enough that she really gets to run full throttle! I could never throw it far enough on my own to keep her interested more than one or two times before getting the launcher. Now, we can spend an hour at the park playing with it. I have one super tired dog when we go home. Tired dog = happy dog = happy dog mom. I also love that I don't have to pick up the slimy ball with my hands anymore, especially after she drops it in a puddle, because the launcher picks it right up. My dog gets so excited when she sees the launcher that she will bounce back and forth in front of me until I throw the ball. I only regret not buying one of these earlier!" —C. Fritzche

    24. A set of reusable microfiber cleaning cloths for a streak-free clean on glass surfaces with *just* water — saving you time aaaand money.

    amazon.com

It comes with two kinds of cloths (four each) — clean the glass with a damp green cloth, then follow up with the dry blue cloth. Shiny!

Get the set of eight from Amazon for $14.98.

Promising review: "I couldn't get my windows clean using Windex and newsprint and a lot of elbow grease. There were always streaks and dirt left behind. Enter these things. One quick cleaning, and I do mean quick, and my windows are now cleaner than any windows I've ever cleaned. It's simply amazing. We were all standing around in utter shock and delight before running around trying the cloths on other stuff: the TV, the picture glass. I know it sounds corny, but I couldn't wait to get up this morning, because I woke up in the middle of the night excitedly thinking about trying it on the car today. Yeah, I know....I have an exciting life, right? Buy these now! I wish I'd had them all along. They are truly, truly amazing." —Amazon Customer

    25. A gorgeous textured travel wallet that'll store your cash, boarding pass, passport, credit cards, and more so you'll *finally* feel organized going through security and making it to your gate. Plus it's really cute.

    Amazon

It's made of Rfid-blocking material too.

Get it from Amazon for $15.99 (available in 35 colors).

Promising review: "I absolutely love this wallet. I needed a new travel wallet, and this holds everything I need all in one place, and it still closes nicely and stays flat! Boarding pass, passport, ID and credit cards, money, checked baggage tickets, receipts, etc! Yet it doesn’t bulk up or look like an overstuffed mess. Just amazing. The description says it only holds US money, but I just used the boarding pass flap to hold all my Japanese Yen (¥), which are larger. I didn’t use the zippered pocket for coins as I much prefer a separate coin purse for that sort of thing. I definitely recommend to anyone who travels a lot!" —Anthony Luu

    26. A microfiber towel turban that'll help dry your hair faster on cold winter mornings (without causing damage or frizz). And it buttons easily in the back so the whole thing won't go sliding off your head when you're sitting watching TV.

    Amazon

Get it from Amazon for $6.99+ (available in six colors).

Promising review: "This is great!!! I always hate having the towel fall off my head, plus a normal towel is actually damaging for your hair. This just works so well, stays on, and reduces frizz. I had to buy a few more because I love it so much. Seriously, everyone with hair past your ears needs this." —Kate

    27. A desktop document holder so you can keep your class notes, work memos, or even just a to-do list at a glance while you're furiously typing the afternoon away. No need to bend your head every three seconds to retype that document into your files.

    Amazon

Get it from Amazon for $13.26.

Promising review: "I love this as a writer. I was able to attach a miniature reading light to it and it holds my papers for when I'm typing or editing from them. I used to prop my papers up on anything and they'd slide down. This is great and I move it to the couch when I'm working on my laptop, too." —Terry Spear
