Last night, ABC aired The Disney Family Singalong, which was an incredibly wholesome hour filled with celebs — including Beyoncé and Ariana Grande — singing Disney classics.
As is the case with most programming during the coronavirus pandemic, each celeb shot their segment at home — which led to creative costuming and sprawling shots of kitchens I'll never have.
But when it came time for John Stamos; his wife, Caitlyn; and son, Billy, to perform "It's a Small World," well, we need to talk about the elephant in the room!
They ~literally~ have a piece of Disney Parks history — one of the Dumbos from the classic ride — in their home.
This isn't the first time Dumbo has made an appearance during this quarantine — just a few weeks ago, John read a book to kids ~live from Dumbo~.
There's magic behind each page. ✨ Enjoy "A Kiss Goodnight," by Disney Legends Floyd Norman and Richard Sherman, read by @JohnStamos.
Anyway, of course, many people watching the special noticed!
SO YOU ARE TELLING ME JOHN STAMOS JUST HAS A DUMBO RIDE VEHICLE IN HIS HOME?????????????????????????????
Some were like 👀:
John Stamos really had to flex that he has a Dumbo vehicle... couldn’t sit on his damn couch like everyone else
Others were digging it:
Not only is John Stamos finer than wine. He has a whole Dumbo ride thingy in his home. You can’t beat that. You just can’t.
And some just made new goals:
My biggest takeaway from #DisneyFamilySingalong is that I need a Dumbo ride vehicle in my living room just like John Stamos.
Mostly, a lot of people were curious about the origin story. And it turns out, John's memorabilia collection has a long history: He also has a giant "D" sign from the parks that he won on eBay back when "eBay first started," along with a Grumpy car.
And Dumbo has been around the Stamos household for a while — even though he's seemingly moved from being an outdoor Dumbo to an indoor Dumbo.
Yes, this Dumbo ride has a home in @JohnStamos's backyard along with other neat Disneyland items 😋
