    1. A foot file that'll leave your feet looking (and feeling!) like you just float everywhere, keeping them silky smooth at all times.

    amazon.com, amazon.com, amazon.com

Getting a callus remover gel can really help soften that stubborn dead skin even more!

Promising review: "After comparing foot files and reading the reviews, I decided to order this foot file. Living with chronic pain conditions has made it almost impossible to get out and go to the nail salon on a regular basis. I needed a way that I could 'maintain' my feet in between pedicure appointments, and purchasing this foot file was definitely a great decision. I couldn't believe how well and easily it removed the dead skin from the bottom of my feet. The only other product that I used was a tiny amount of callus remover to help remove the unwanted dry skin. I couldn't believe how well it worked and my feet felt so much better. I would highly recommend using caution when it comes to the amount of skin that you slough off. Otherwise, you could remove too many layers of skin, leaving your feet sensitive to touch or painful when walking on them. If you are looking for a way to maintain your feet on your own then look no further! The price is competitive, the quality is top notch, and it couldn't be any easier to use." —Amy

    2. A vaccine card holder so you never have to worry about where you put it and if it's getting crushed inside the bottom of your bag.

Reviewer before and after showing the scraper removed a brown film that was on their tongue
    amazon.com

Promising review: "I never realized how much gunk was on my tongue in the mornings. Pretty disgusting actually. My mouth feels extra clean after using this. Great-quality stainless steel. To sanitize it, I just dip it in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes. The only thing others may have an issue with is storage as it doesn't come with a case or anything. Simple solution, though. I put up a small hook next to my toothpaste and toothbrush and hang it on that." —Alexis T.

    5. Biodegradable, all-natural bottle cleaning tablets because is there anything more annoying than trying to clean your water bottle or coffee tumbler?

A reviewer before and after photo of a bottle
    amazon.com

Promising review: "Totally worth the purchase. Sure, you could maybe compound something similar but these are so easy to use that it's just not worth the hunting and gathering of various ingredients. I split one tablet in half with a bench scrapper because the package said to dilute with 1 liter of water and my Hydroflasks are 18 oz each so I figured a 1/2 tablet per Hydroflask would be sufficient. I typically store lattes in my Hydroflasks and they had an impressive amount of buildup on the inside so I opted for 1/2 tablet + nearly boiling water + overnight soak time. The next morning I dumped out the water, gave them a quick scrub with a bottle brush, and WOW. THEY'RE LIKE NEW!!! Or as close to new as you can get after 5+ years of daily use. Totally worth it." —Jessica Bills

Get a box of 12 tablets from Amazon for $8 (available in 36 and 78 tablets).

    6. An herbal sleep pillow that'll help promote a more restful sleep every time you take an inhale of one of the five scents you can choose from.

A purple dyed stitched pillow with lavender in it
    La Aquarelle / Etsy

La Aquarelle is a UK-based Etsy shop established in 2016 that specializes in plant-dyed sleep masks, eye pillows, and herbal sachets.

Promising review: "The scent is beautiful, strong but pleasant! It’s small enough to keep at the side of my pillow for an added sleep aid. I love it, thank you!" —Hannah Doolan

Get it from La Aquarelle on Etsy for $12.45+ (available in five scents).

    7. A set of Sea Bands perfect for anyone who deals with constant nausea and motion sickness, migraines, or even nausea brought on by cramps. I have the absolute WORST motion sickness. I'm talking like...if I turn my head too quickly I get sick. These bands target an acupuncture point on your wrists meant to help reduce nausea! You'll basically go from 🥴 to 😊.

Promising review: "So I get car sick, sea sick, air sick, 3D movie sick. I get motion sickness at a drop of a hat. Being in my mid-thirties, I would have thought I'd grown out of it by now, but no such luck. When I decided to go on a second cruise, I bought these thinking they wouldn't do anything and that I would return them once I got home. I was pleasantly surprised and found that these helped me tremendously. I wore them all the time over the course of my five-day cruise and was never sick during my vacation. I was stunned. My first cruise I got so sea sick the first day and ended up in a foggy haze the rest of the trip since I took so much Dramamine. Considering how cheap these were compared to popping pills, I should have bought them a long time ago. Great little product and I can't believe how well they worked. I bought a second pair for the car, so if I ever feel sick, I can just put these on. I would highly recommend, even for the skeptical." —KristinaK

Get a set of two from Amazon for $8.53 (available in adult and children's sizes).

    8. A handheld heated bag sealer so you'll never have to worry about waking up in the morning to know that *past you* didn't close the bag tight enough and now you have to sadly nibble on stale chips.

It also comes with a small bag cutter at the bottom for easy access when it comes time reopen!

Promising review: "This bag sealer is a pretty great little tool to have around. I think most people think of using it for chips but you can use it for so much more. I used it to seal my bag of grass seeds, grout bags, and all kinds of other stuff. You have to be careful because some of the foil type bags can split if you get it to hot. I start in the middle on the thick plastic bags with a seam in the middle since it is the toughest part of the bag. It also has a little cutter on it which I haven't really used. And it came with batteries which not all do." —J.G.

Get it from Amazon for $14.97 (available in four colors).

    9. A set of dermaplaning razors you can use to take care of those teeny unwanted hairs around your eyebrows or even those face fuzzies you get around your cheek and chin. Fun fact: I get this one really long whisker on my chin every so often and I like to name it Winston.

Reviewer using the tool to dermaplane their face
Model using tool to shave hair above the eyebrow

This tool also helps soften skin by gently exfoliating as you use it!

Promising review: "Super easy and satisfying to use, you’re literally scraping all of the peach fuzz and dead skin off your face. My face is glowing and incredibly soft now. Highly recommend." —Jane

    10. A streak-free anti-fog spray you can quickly apply to your eyeglasses to prevent them from fogging up while you're wearing a mask instead of slowly watching them cloud up with every exhale you take.

reviewer holding up glasses next to bottle of fog gone
Reviewer holding up bottle of spray with unfogged glasses and face mask on

A heads-up that this works *super* well for some reviewers, but not all — note that this is meant for non antireflective-coated lenses, and the instructions for use are very specific. To apply, spray a small amount on both sides of your lenses, and use your fingers to rub it across the whole area. Let it sit for a full minute, then wipe with a dry soft cloth.

Promising review: "I have tried everything to keep my glasses from fogging with my mask and this product is by far the best. I'm sorry I waited so long to purchase it. I live in the Florida Keys and do a lot of diving and snorkeling and it works fabulous for my dive mask also. I would highly recommend Optix 55 Fog Gone. Great price, also I think this bottle will last a very long time." —Bebe

Get it from Amazon for $9.55 (available in two sizes).

    11. A 3D mouth bracket that clips to the inside of your face mask to keep you from breathing in fabric, especially when you're at the gym and really working up a sweat.

    amazon.com

A lot of reviewers also mentioned this was great for saving their lipstick or when fabric from masks gets wet in the rain!

Promising review: "These make it so much easier to have a conversation since your mask isn't right on your mouth and you don't sound all muffled. Other benefit I don't have to speak as loudly. I'm not so sure about being cooler with this because it always feels hot when I have my mask on. There are some clips on both ends of these but I'm not sure how they are used. I find they stay in place if my mask is nice and snug which it should be. Very satisfied with this product." —Duarte Lady

Reviewer is holding the rose gold wick trimmer
    amazon.com

Promising review: "After months of using scissors to cut large jar candles, I saw this on Amazon. Wish I would have found it much earlier. Easily fits in jar, cuts smoothly/easily, reduces soot. 15. A multi-plug outlet for when you only have one measly outlet in your living room, but have a ton of electronics you use.

Reviewer photo of the multi-plug outlet with a couple of plugs in it
    amazon.com

Promising review: "I was constantly having to unplug something in my kitchen to make room for charging my iPhone or watch or using the slow cooker or any of the other half-dozen things I wanted to use at the most convenient spot in the house...the kitchen counter. My 140-year-old house has a distinct shortage of outlets in the kitchen, so this product looked like a good option. It exceeded my expectations and has made my electronic life much simpler. Features that I love other than the excellent number of outlet options it gives are that it screws into place (so it doesn’t pull out of the outlet when you try to unplug something), the versatility of having the USB ports, and the light feature that I appreciate a stupid amount. Yeah, the light switch is right next to it on the wall, but who wants to flip on a light just to plug something in? So basically the price was great, it arrived quickly, and it looks nice. I have a cordless phone plugged in, plus an Echo Show, my Apple Watch charger, my iPad, and an iPhone plugged in with outlets to spare. I’ll run out of counter space before I run out of outlets." —HappyCarnivore

Get it from Amazon for $19.97 (available in two designs).

The lid comes on and off easily making it easy to just dump it every time I'm at the gas station. I saw this on TikTok and it turned out to be a great impulse buy." —Jacqueline Todd

    Emma Lord / BuzzFeed

Promising review: "I’ve suffered with dry, flaking scalp for about a year now (pretty much started when I was pregnant and hadn’t gone away). I have used tea tree oil shampoo, dandruff shampoo, coconut oil, you name it. I finally read somewhere that exfoliating the scalp might help, but I was hesitant because years ago, I had a shampoo brush and it was very rigid and the bristles were fine and close together and it made my hair a tangled mess. Anyway, I saw this shampoo brush and it looked a lot more flexible so I thought I’d give it a try and HOLY MOLY my flakes are gone! It’s made out of a silicone-type material and the little “bristles” are flexible but still get the job done. I can literally brush my hair with shampoo in and it doesn’t get tangled. It’s amazing. Not only do I have zero flakes now, I feel like using this does a way better job at working the shampoo in and getting your hair and scalp really clean." —Meg R.

Get it from Amazon for $7.58+ (available in three colors).

    22. A bottle of Drop It that will remove the sulfate and tannin out of your favorite wine in just 20 seconds! Basically, you can enjoy your bottle of Chardonnay without worrying about the ~dreaded~ post-wine headache.

BuzzFeed editor putting drops into glass of red wine
The drop it bottle in editor's hand
    Emma Lord / BuzzFeed

It's also a lot more cost-effective and environmentally friendly than wine wands or other competitors — a single bottle of this can be used to treat up to 55 glasses of wine, as opposed to wands that can only do a few glasses each before they get tossed. Drop It recommends 1–2 drops for each glass of white wine, 2–3 for a glass of red, and 7–9 if you're treating the whole bottle at once. Once it's in the glass, swirl lightly for 20 seconds, and you should be ready to sip, sip hooray!

Promising review: "I became really sensitive to wine in my 30s and through a lot of trial and painful error, I thought I might have to give up on wine altogether. Then I found out about the preservatives being a possible cause and decided to give this product a shot. So glad I did!! I'm still pretty sensitive to reds but this helps tremendously so that I can have a glass with dinner without a headache immediately settling in. Whites cause me no problem what so ever! I love that it takes so little product to make a difference to a whole bottle. Just a few drops, a few minutes and we are good to go." —CastawayIrons

Promising review: "This egg cooker is some sort of magic. It is brilliant...totally changed my life and is my new best friend in the kitchen. Super simple to use, instructions are extremely clear, with pictures and some recipes to get you going, and the different types of eggs you can cook with this is incredible: hard-boiled, poached (!!!), and an omelet. We didn't even have to try it a few times to get it right — first time the eggs came out the most perfect I've ever cooked them and all I did was follow a few basic instruction steps, then walk away and listen for the buzzer. Even the buzzer at the end is more than a sound...it's music that my son and I dance to in the kitchen. I'm in heaven. All for such a low price. I can die happy now. :)" —Amazon Customer

    24. A container of Museum Gel that'll successfully foil your cat's plans of knocking over all of your beautiful decorative pieces in the living room. You basically apply the clear adhesive to the bottom of glass or crystal and it'll stay locked in place on any surface.

Reviewer holding the container of clear gel
    amazon.com

Psst — people who sell jewelry like rings and want to balance them on a surface for photos also swear by this!

Promising review: "Excellent if you have inquisitive pets or kids. I use a quarter sized gob under glassware, candles, smaller lamps to keep them from being knocked over. Easy to use. Put a gob on any flat smooth clean surface and press object down on top of it. To remove, use twisting motion to release and lift up. The clear gob can be removed from surfaces by rolling it off like play dough. It can be returned to container for reuse. It does not dry out or lose its adhesive properties. With time, the gob returned to the container will magically 'melt' into the rest of the firm clear gel and appear to have never been used. Substance is like the clear sticky stuff used in mailings to adhere credit card to paper." —Mitzy

The Amazon listing also suggests buying a polishing cloth to apply an anti-tarnish barrier on your silver, protecting it from any future buildup!

Promising review: "I worked several years in a fine jewelry store that sold this product. We used the Dazzle Stik from time to time to add a quick shine to merchandise that was just tried on and on days our jeweler was not there to professionally clean items. I was always impressed with the instant shine the diamond stick provided. The brush tip is very helpful for getting under the stones and in the setting where gunk builds up reducing that brilliant shine. I recently got engaged and immediately purchased a Diamond Dazzle Stik of my own. It's the perfect way to quickly give my ring some shine before leaving the house. You simply brush, rinse, dry and go. I don't feel this product replaces the need to professionally clean your jewelry every now and then, but it does help with the maintenance of that new shiny sparkle." —Amazon customer

Kids and teens have dirt, grime, and grease on their walls? ...This will make it look like a new paint job. Baseboards need some love? A pea-size amount of this makes them look brand new. 32. A pair of compression gloves designed to help alleviate the painful side effects of carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis, perfect for anyone who spends *waaay* too much time sitting at a desk typing. Spoiler alert: it's me.

Promising review: "These arthritis gloves saved me. After looking for solutions for almost a dozen of years, I can’t believe it took me this long to get these. I have been suffering from arthritis for almost 20 years now. The pain in the fingers and hands were the worst. They really impacted my day to day life more than anything else. I was becoming handicapped. It was horrible to become so dependent on others at such a young age. My daughter bought me a pair of ComfyBrace arthritis gloves as a gift. I was really skeptical. Well, you gotta believe it. I was so desperate that I was willing to try anything, and try it I did. It only took a few hours for the gloves to begin their magic. It has the perfect balance. The compression is great, but it’s not painful. I wouldn’t say it happened over night, but in a very short time I was doing things again that were very difficult for me a mere two days ago." —M. Promising review: "I never thought I’d be writing a review for straws, but here we are. These are FANTASTIC. I try to be as eco-friendly as possible but was ready to give up. I’ve tried metal straws, but they are tough to clean and I don’t love metal against my teeth. I’ve tried other reusable plastic and silicone options but they don’t work for thicker drinks like smoothies. These actually address all of my issues. I’ve used them for thick smoothies, that I drink daily, and just for other everyday drinks like water. They couldn’t be easier to snap open and clean, dry, then easily snap back into shape to use again." —M. Alexandra

    34. A wood-cleaning polish to enhance the natural beauty in all of your wood (it's not just for wood floors!) by feeding it with oils, preventing it from drying and fading. It'll make your adult self *so* proud.

Promising review: "This product is worth every penny and goes a very long way. We had tired, oak floors that haven’t been refinished in over 50 years. They were dried out and washed out. This product took away decades in an hour with a few rags and a lot of elbow grease. One word of caution: Floors are very slippery for a few days after use. Be very careful walking around. As a bonus, it smells amazing. It has a natural orange peel smell that is fresh and clean and not at all harsh or chemical. Highly, highly recommend." —GMD

Promising review: "This is a very pleasant lavender aroma. It's just the right potency so as not to be overwhelming as you're soaking. The Epsom salts are just what I need after a long day. It really helps my low back pain and is very soothing for tired legs as well. This creates lots of wonderful suds and makes quite the luxurious bath. Even my husband uses it. We've been using Dr. Teal's for many years — this is one of our favorites. We find that we both get a better night's rest as it helps us to relax and unwind from the hectic day. Absolutely recommend!" —whitepartyof4

Promising review: "I have had tension and migraine headaches for around 20 years. I have tried everything. OTC medication, prescription medication, pain injections, chiropractor etc... This topical oil has given me relief for nearly six weeks now. I have only had two to three headaches in that time, and they were mild. I ordered more already so I have some in my car and at home, and I bought some for two of my friends who suffer from chronic migraines. I would recommend this product to anyone with migraines. It is phenomenal." —Mary D.

Promising review: "I was so ready to write a review about what a piece of crap this is; boy was I wrong! This actually works! I usually use the Neutrogena cleansing cloths, which work OK, but this MakeUp Eraser blows them out of the water. I can't believe how great it is. I went to a show last night and got the dreaded hand stamp. Of course, because they use ink developed by NASA, I couldn't wash it off. I can't show up to work with a giant robot stamped on the back of my hand so I scrubbed and scrubbed. When my skin was gone but the stamp wasn't, I tried the MakeUp Eraser as a last resort. That sucker damn near got the whole thing off!!! I'm so impressed by this thing I'm going to get another one just in case they stop making them!" —Lola

    39. A set of super comfy wax ear plugs that'll actually mold to the shape of your inner ear like some sort of putty. This helps create a sufficient buffer between you and the annoying sounds of your cat meowing for more treats. Oh, wait, it's my cat. Brb.

Promising review: "I have been on a search for the most comfortable ear plugs and these are IT! I have tried so many different ears plugs it's ridiculous! For some reason my ear canals are super sensitive and the foam plugs create way too much pressure and by morning as I tried removing them it was so painful again times it would bring tears to my eyes, the vacuum created didn't help either. I had even tried the sensitive ears selection and the children's size and no matter which one I tried, they all caused incredible pain and I can't stay asleep without blocking out the noise. These silicone, moldable earplugs are so easy to use and so comfortable, once you put them on your ear, you don't even really notice that they are on. No pain whatsoever, zilch, nada, it's fantastic. They can even be used for swimming, although I've not tried it. Anywho, I highly recommend this product whether your ears are sensitive or not." —Chellybow

    40. O'Keeffe's Working Hands Hand Cream, an affordable concentrated moisturizer for ridiculously dry or cracked skin on your hands so you can feel some relief during these exceptionally dry and cold winter months ahead.

    amazon.com

My brother in law works in construction outside, even in the bitter New England winters. He uses this every single day and swears by it! Also, a lot of reviewers also swear by this for relieving eczema!

Promising review: "My hands suffer every winter with not only dryness, but also cracking around the fingertips. I've tried many creams, lotions and paint on products that would work temporarily, if at all. I saw a commercial for O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream and read many, many reviews on the the product. I've tried it and all I can say is that it's a miracle. The dryness has left my hands and my fingertips are well on the way towards healing....and this is after only two days of use. I wish I had found it years ago. It would have saved me lots of pain, agony and money." —Desert D.

Eden BodyWorks is a Black woman-owned business established in 2004 that specializes in natural products to nurture, restore, and maintain hair. Reviewers with 2c through 4c hair mention it working well for them!

Promising review: "This curl defining creme is really good, and I consider it a must have. I have 4a, high density, low porosity, coarse hair. This gives my hair great definition and moisture. I think it works best as a part of the LCO method. Personally, I dampen my hair with water, apply this creme, and then follow up with a little bit of apricot or sweet almond oil. It doesn't mix well with products from other brands or other products in general other than oil, but that's not a bad thing considering you don't need anything else. Would definitely recommend this over curl-defining cremes from other brands." —Crh

Like I mentioned, I get the absolute WOOORST chafing on my arms from swinging them back and forth during a walk or run. Like it gets so bad, I can't even put my arms down! Ever since I started using this bad boy, I never had to worry about the chafing, unless it's like an unbelievably itchy fabric. But, like, why would I wear those?

Promising review: "Omg this stuff is the best! I recently went to Thailand where it was 90 degrees with a 70% humidity every single day I was there. This stuff got me through! I was able to wear dresses and shorts with no chafing! And I only ever had to apply in the morning and once in the middle of the day! My life is forever changed I’ve already ordered two more!" —Amazon customer
