You may be aware that Riverdale stars Camila Mendes and Charles Melton have been dating IRL for a good few months now.
Camila confirmed they were a couple with a cute post last October, but other than the one occasion she took the time to clap back at a fan who criticised her relationship with Charles, both of them have kept things pretty private since then.
(Apart from posting some adorable Instagrams, of course.)
Well, in a new interview with LA Confidential, Camila opened up about why exactly she's decided not to speak about the relationship publicly.
"In my day-to-day life, I am an open book," Camila began. "But I’ve also developed this sixth sense. I understand how my spoken words can translate into written words and how things can appear out of context."
"It’s like, yeah, even though I feel comfortable talking about some things, do I really want to see it written over and over again? Sometimes, it’s not really worth it," she explained.
She also said filming with Charles is "great", and while there is some romance between their characters on Riverdale, it doesn't have any effect on their real-life relationship.
