Shane Dawson was one of the celebrities who unfollowed James Charles during the purge, but this is the first time he's publicly spoken on it.
Shane posted this to his Twitter account with a "❤️" emoji.
He's not defending James, but rather sharing his feelings on the nature of the whole ordeal — how it's left an ugly mark on a community he's a part of.
"Send a nice text to a friend today. Give someone a hug. Tweet a link to your favorite music video. I dunno...something nice. I feel like we all need that right now."
