People across the internet are calling out the celebrities they believe don't deserve their fame — and it's sparking an important dialogue about whom our society chooses to worship and why.

It all started when Reddit user Richard Apetroaia asked, "What celebrity really doesn’t deserve to be a celebrity?" The thread quickly went viral, garnering thousands of responses.
Here are some of the top-voted answers:
1. "James Charles."

2. "Chris Brown. The fact that he was so quickly accepted back into mainstream music is gross."

3. "Serial killers. I don't know how anyone can idolize such sick beings. So many times, the victims get put on the back burner and pretty much forgotten."

4. "The Duggars! Overpopulating, sexist, racist, and Josh Duggar."

5. "June Shannon, aka 'Mama June.'"

6. "The Teen Mom cast."

7. "James Corden. I hate that he’s everywhere and in everything."

8. "Any politician. They all want to be celebrities instead of leading and making positive progress."

9. "R. Kelly, Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein…all those rapist celebrities."

11. "Jake and Logan Paul."

12. "Any celebrity who got famous from dancing on TikTok."

13. "Addison Rae came out of fucking nowhere, and all a sudden she’s a big deal? Come on, guys. Seriously? Influencers seem to just be handed things, and it really isn’t fair, especially when they could be taking a spot in a movie or show that someone else is more qualified for."

14. "Elon Musk is famous because he's rich and likes to talk shit on social media."

15. "Piers Morgan. Don't know why he is tolerated."

16. "The royal family. I just don’t understand why anyone gives a fuck about them."

17. "All of the YouTubers and influencers."

18. "All of the Kardashians. I don’t even know what they are famous for. I don’t really care about them, I just hate the fact that they earn tons of money just for…well, just for being them."

And finally...
19. "Donald Trump."
