Here Are All The Celebrities Who Have Unfollowed James Charles After His Latest Scandal

Ever since Tati dropped her bombshell of a video, followed up by James' apology video, there has been a massive response in both the YouTube and wider internet community.

Besides losing over a million subscribers on his YouTube channel, James has been unfollowed by a number of high-profile celebrities and YouTubers. Here's a list of all of them...

1. Demi Lovato

Background: James had recently posted a photo of both him and Demi, suggesting a potential collaboration between the two. But since Demi has unfollowed him, it's unlikely that the video will be coming out anytime soon.

2. Ethan and Grayson Dolan

Background: The Dolan twins and Emma Chamberlain were part of what was known as the "Sister Squad". Alongside James, the group of them frequently collaborated on a number of YouTube videos that resulted in millions of views. The tea? Fans speculated that during these collaborations, James made Grayson uncomfortable with his sexual comments, especially in light of theories that the two were dating. Grayson later cleared up the rumours in this video.

3. Emma Chamberlain

Background: Like the Dolan Twins, Emma was part of the "Sister Squad", which seemingly resulted in a tight friendship between the four of them. It's worth noting that fans have mentioned that both Emma and the Dolan twins had been keeping their distance from James recently.

4. Kylie Jenner

Background: This unfollow is pretty significant, especially considering how close James has become to the Kardashian family. They even teased a video together last October.

5. Kim Kardashian

Background: James and Kim have been pretty close for a while now. They've collaborated on a number of videos alongside Kim's makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, and James spoke about them talking in his Met Gala video.

6. Shawn Mendes

Background: Shawn and James have been buddies for a while now. There was some talk over James leaving suggestive comments on the singer's social media accounts, but Shawn quickly cleared that up.

Background: Like many beauty gurus, Laura is no stranger to scandal. While James and Laura were previously friends, it seems like they've since distanced themselves from one another.

Background: To those who don't know, Shane is kind of like the dad of the YouTube community. He's one of the OG YouTubers, and a number of "newer" influencers, like James, look to him as a mentor of sorts. They have appeared together in videos, but it's worth noting this tweet which could be part of the reasoning behind the unfollow. (FYI: Shane unfollowed James on Twitter but still follows him on Instagram!)

12. Iggy Azalea

Background: Iggy is another celeb that James featured on his channel. He also appeared in the music video for "Sally Walker", and Iggy has talked about James' palette on Instagram Live, so it's safe to say that the two were pretty close.

Background: David has unfollowed James on Twitter but still follows him on Instagram. TBH, I don't think they're especially close. Their connection may have been through Liza Koshy, who David previously dated, or through big YouTubers just knowing each other.
