1. Congrats to Beyoncé and all the other winners at the NAACP Image Awards!

Beyoncé won Entertainer of the Year, Jay-Z won the President's Award, Tracee Ellis Ross won Best Actress in a Comedy Series, Michael B. Jordan won best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture, Chadwick Boseman won Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Amandla Stenberg won Best Actress in a Motion Picture, and Jesse Williams won Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Kudos to all!

2. Beyoncé teamed up with Adidas to relaunch and rebrand her iconic apparel line, Ivy Park.

3. Yara Shahidi was a vision in emerald on the cover of Porter Magazine this month.

4. Denzel Washington joined the cast of Macbeth as the titular character!

The film will also star Frances McDormand and will be directed by Joel Coen and produced by A24. Excited to see one of my favorite plays come to the big screen starring my favorite actor!

6. Both Boomerang and Soul Train were renewed for a Season 2!

7. Danai Gurira was BOLD AF on the cover of Shape this month.

8. Andre Holland joined the cast of the upcoming musical series The Eddy.

9. Last, but not least, T.I. and his company, Moolah Mobile, launched the first free wireless cell service for low-income communities.
