Criticizing people who don't conform to your dress code is beyond rude. Maybe they can't afford to buy a formal dress/rent a tux etc. Why is that such a big deal? It reeks of entitlement to me.
I wouldn't feel comfortable with a partner who consistently put my needs ahead of theirs. Tbh, I think it would give me anxiety and a guilt complex lol.
