This is a small thing but it really adds up in the end: when you're grocery shopping, just buy the store brand of whatever you were going to buy. 90% of the time it's the same as the name brand as the store brand products are made in the same factory as the name brand.

Don't stay up all night cramming the night before a test. If you don't know the material by midnight, you're not going to know it. Getting a good night's rest is better preparation for your test as it allows your brain to rest and process the information.
