    Well, October is in full swing, so here is Part II of an important series in which we explore the curious link between Taylor Swift lyrics and horror movies. In today's episode, we look at how the plots of horror movies are secretly hidden in Taylor's lyrics. Let's begin!

    1. The Happening (2008)

    In this movie, which I haven't seen but have heard is so bad it's good, trees  develop a defense mechanism that kills off all the humans on the planet. Sounds like something we need, and also no doubt what Taylor was singing about in "Out of the Woods."

    2. A Quiet Place (2018)

    Now we know that "Dear John" was not about the John we thought it was, but in fact, it was a respectful nod to John Krasinski, director and costar of A Quiet Place.

    3. Jennifer's Body (2009)

    In case you haven't seen it, this is the film where Megan Fox is possessed by a demon and becomes a "pale and sickly creature jonesing for a meaty snack" who preys on the local men. Definitely ghost-written by our horror queen.

    The guy on the screen = malevolent child coming to haunt your apartment, in this instance. And it's pretty crazy that this movie releases on Friday, October 13, the same day as Taylor's new movie. Double feature, anyone?
