Loved this. I'm not ashamed to say it made me tear up a little. 2015 solidified a lot for me with regards to my blackness and my place in this world. Thank you for summing up what was an important year for so many of us.
LOL ignore the above. I completely misread the title. I didn't see the West because I immediately focused on the Africa part.. we don't get much love on Buzzfeed so it was a momentary lapse lol. My bad.
I'm gonna need some non-Western African dishes here people. We are a continent of 54 countries. As much as I love the fact that Buzzfeed has finally realised that there are non-European foods, we're gonna need some more diversity... a few East African dishes wouldn't go amiss.
