This is bullshit at the same time. Maybe kids these days have more conveniences, but look at the average student's workload and you'll see that kids these days are learning almost double the amount of information in the same amount of time with the expectation to still be able to do sports, activities, volunteer, and have a social life. Not to mention that before computers, cell phones, and social networking, bullied kids had the ability to go home and escape it all. They just can't do that anymore. Why do you think there's been so many suicides in recent years? It's hard to deal with so much stress at such a young age and still be able to function normally. Sure, there's definitely many positives to being a teenager in the new millenium, but we can't simply say that today's teenagers have it easy.
