Timeless had amazing writing, brilliant acting, and the episodes were so historically educational that Smithsonian.com posted about every episode. It's a crime it was canceled.

Persuasion by Jane Austen. Captain Wentworth's letter gets me every time. It's a story of truly enduring love. I'm not the sappy type, so if this doesn't get you in the feels, you must be dead inside.
