Well said Benjamin.
Joew11, my son Alex was a vaccinated kid. When he was 2 he was diagnosed with leukemia. After undergoing 131 weeks of chemotherapy he was immune suppressed. While he was in kindergarten (and still considered immune suppressed) he was exposed to chicken pox by a child who wasn’t vaccinated and who had a brother at home with the disease. Alex got the chicken pox. Even though Alex had been vaccinated the chemo had wiped out the titers that he had built up for the disease. Alex spent a week in the hospital, in isolation on IV meds because this kids parents not only didn’t vaccinate their children but sent one to school who had been exposed. Alex’s vaccine didn’t work because of chemo. There are lots of kids out there who can’t be vaccinated for various reason. It’s selfish to put these kids and other people in danger for diseases that are preventable. My son could have died, so yeah I felt threatened.
Still hot at 64!!!
