There isn’t anything trashy or unprofessional by publishing these emails.
Aurthur clearly states that she would like to publish these as a way to make Rebeck’s thoughts/opinion/disagreements known but without taking down her original article. Rebeck agrees to allow the emails to be published. Pretty straightforward.
The level of animosity in the comments is more alarming than the emails, IMO.

Why is your hating ska a thing?

This article fails on so many levels.  I grieve for young girls who think that being punk or being talented is tied up in how you look.  Patti Smith. Bikini Kill. Sleater-Kinney. L7. THESE are punk bands. And you can find some empowering roll models in there.

Pretty sure Lil Ass Kicker won’t make it either. Seems like it would push Rick more towards ze crazy. And everyone in the group would feel it.

I wish they’d put the same amount of effort into innovating and getting ahead of the digital curb. Maybe if they made it easy to access all kinds of movies earlier AND kept it affordable, they’d increase revenue.

I don’t have a problem with a young person writing songs about relationship drama. I have a problem when those songs SUCK.

  Pigs are as smart as dogs. We still eat them all the time. And cows feel anxiety and fear but we don’t seem to give a ISHT. So maybe get off your high horse (HA) about horse meat, people.  Turkeys are ignant though. So continue on eating the $&@# outta them.
